KH3D [Spoliers] Riku remembers his childhood promise + explanation of a dream eater's simbol in his back

Recommended Posts

Hey, guys. I recently uploaded a video, in Video Collections from this site, that I found with translation before the Ansem vs Riku battle in the World That Never Was that explains why Riku has a Dream Eater simbol in his back.

Apparently, as Ansem says, Riku is protecting Sora from his supposed nightmare. Well, that's the role of the Dream Eaters: they protect people by eating the Nightmares. I think that explains what most of people wondered in the beginning when the first trailer came out.

"I don't know, but when I stand against you, I remember the secret promise. The fragmented memory in my childhood. *looks at his hand which summons the Keyblade* When I hoped and dreamt for travelling the outer world, and his thought"

With this speach, my opinion is that Riku actually remembers Terra. Will Riku be the one who is going to save him? Terra was already in contact with Riku's heart when Ansem possessed him. I would like to see Riku's expression when he finds out what happened to Terra all the way along. :P

Some of you might have seen the video however some don't, so here it is. ;)

It seems like a really bad translation. A lot of it doesn't make sense. But I think from it, I understand red eyes and Riku a whole lot better. So, thank you for posting it regardless of the quality.
