based on what i've seen of kingdom hearts 3d im guessing that the majority of the game will be be saving terra and aqua. i think that you will be able to freelly switch back and forth between sora and riku as they explore the realm of darkness in an attempt to save aqua, while as an alternate playthrough you use lea and kairi to explore the realm of light in order to learn the keyblade the same way as sora and riku did and search for terra along the way . then after you save aqua she will take sora to ventus in order to release his heart giving them seven lights. i believe that terra will be the 13th nort and will be saved after the "keyblade war". then possibly after beating the 2 stories you will unlock other characters to play through. now remember this is only a guess based upon very little info so what do yall think?

Not a bad idea for a KHIII Storyline. I've seen worse.

I think it would be Riku and Mickey looking for Aqua in the Realm of Darkness. Remember, Riku and Mickey are masters and they have both been in the Realm of Darkness and escaped/left on their own. It is more practical and Sora is pretty much off in the Realm of Dreams doing something else. Ventus's heart is pretty much freed and I can see him waking up in Castle Oblivion and leaving. Best place to go would be Mysterious Tower for him. Sora will probably return later on in the game with Roxas and Xion and maybe Kairi with Namine. Kairi and Lea will pretty much be training before hand and maybe in the game as well. Kingdom Hearts 3 will probably be just the end part to this and another game might be made to fill in the middle of this. Based on Nomura's logic I highly doubt you would be able to play with swich-able characters. I think if there were multiple characters, they would have their own story. Or through out the game you switch point of views. Everyone will practically be doing something useful. I think Kairi, Lea, and possibly Mickey could be play-able in this game. They can very well have their own stories. I think Terra won't be saved until the end or near the middle. Or he can be playable shortly while he fights Xehanort inside. Or maybe it could be an extra feature in the game where you can use him to do this. I hope Kingdom Hearts 3 isn't a repeat of Chain of Memories, where you have to play Sora's story first, then you can play Riku's. If they save Terra also, I believe there is a chance for Eraqus to come back. I don't think Yen Sid will be fighting in this war, but you never know. Donald and Goofy, I think will accompany Kairi in her journey or split up with her and Lea. Each one taking one or the other. But I think Donald and Goofy will be with Kairi to help her develop her skills and also be protection just in case. Lea on the other hand, will be probably warning Radiant Garden. Either Riku or Mickey both to the Realm of Darkness. If only one, I think the other will warn and gather all the people they can get, that of course can leave their worlds, so only main cast disney characters and The World Ends With You/Final Fantasy Characters. You also might see Ventus taking his Mark of Mastery test. That's how I think it will go.

i would love this switching between several characters. It could be so awesome to explore worlds and switch to another character in order to get farther in levels.
