' I see them, but do they see me?'

 

The day was just as everyday was. Plain original. Before I get into anymore detail, my name is Minto Kujo. I'm 16 years old, a junior in high school, I have short blue hair, a scar on my upper right eye, orange eyes, I'm about 5,4 inches tall, I have a sister. Her name is Alexis Kujo. She has long pink hair like my mom, blue eyes from my dad, she's about 4,9 inches tall, 14 years all, she's a 8th grader at the local middle school, and she's all I have left. My mom died around when I was six and my dad disappeared last year this day. Allow me to say something before I begin this tale. I see things original people cannot. I see Fantasy creatures.

 

I woke in my bed like any other day. I looked around. I had a standed bed, bookselve to my right, my closet in the back, my window to my left, and my desk in my front. I sat up rubbing my head. I looked around and saw it. It was a tiny fairy. She had little white pixie wings, a little green dress, two antienas, and looked like she had pink eyes.

 

'' Hey, get out of my room.'' was the only thing I could've said when I threw a book at her as she flew away. I got out of my bed and stretch. I looked around and walked towards my desk and looked at the calendar. The date was July 25th. The day my dad disappeared. I then heard some noise from downstairs.'' What did she do this time.'' I said as I got on my standed school uniform on. A collar white shirt with a black tie and black pants. I opened my door and walked down the hallway passing a picture of me, my sister, and my parents. The sunlight through the window covered my parnets faces as I walked down the stairs as I was greeted by my sister

 

'' Good morning brother. Sorry about the noise. I dropped a plate. Don't worry through. I cleaned it up. Breakfast is ready. I made eggs and bacon. Your favorite.'' Alexis said cheerly as she was in her school uniform. It was a white button up white blouse and a green and red skirt. She smiled as she sat down at the table and ate her breakfast as I ate mine.'' Today's the day.'' Alexis sad with her head down. I patted her head.

 

'' Don't worry. I'm sure he'll come back. Even if he doesn't. I'll be here for you Alexis.'' I said as I saw the time. It was 10:01 A.M.'' Alexis. We need to go if we're to make our bus.'' I said as I got our plates in the sink and grabbed my house key and bag as she grabbed her bag as we walked out the house. I locked the door as we started walking. She got to her busstop as I kept walking to mine. I then saw something I wish I didn't see. I saw a creature walk around the corner. It had two horns, three red eyes, a pair of wings, a spiked tail. I didn't relize it was stareing at me until I saw it run. I freaked out as I couldn't move. I couldn't scream since I'm the only one who can see it. I closed my eyes waiting for it to end until I heard it. I heard a siren. I opened my eyes and saw her. She had short black hair, some it covering her right eye, a sword in her hand, a samuri kimono, and she has looked at me with her black eyes. I shaked as she winked and rushed towards the monster. She slashed it in the head and it roared as it disappeared. I fell on my knees as the woman walked up to me. The last thing I remember was her saying this.

 

'' I'm like you Minto Kujo and I'm here for you.''

'' She saw me, but do I believe?''

 

I slowly opened my eyes. I saw I was in a room. I looked around as I was only on a mattess. Nothing else was in the room execpt a fan that was blowing wind in my direction. I held my head as I tried to remember what happened. All I remembered was that strange monster and that weird dressed girl. I then layed back down thinking. I closed my eyes until a heard the door open. I looked as I saw her. She was in her same clothing, but without the sword and her hair in a ponytail. She had a tray of food in hands.

 

'' Oh, your awake. You've been asleep for a long time. I say at least 2 hours. Here you go. I made this for you.'' the girl said as she layed the tray on my lap. I took a bite of it and my eyes widen a bit. The food I just tasted is like I've been eating my mom's cooking which is out of this world. I kept eating as she looked at me.'' I'm sorry. I didn't introduce myself. My name is Rose Rocent. I came to speak with you.'' Rose told me as she smiled.

 

'' About what? Also, thanks for saving me.'' I told her as she got something out of her Kimiono.

 

'' About your gift. Your not the only person who can see them. There are others. I'm one of them. You see, there are two different types of the things we see. The one you saw me kill was a Akumu. They are very deadly. One does not ingage into battle with one without a Star Knight. I'll explain those in a bit. The other ones we see are called Veilers. They support the Star Knights and are prey to the Akumu. We serve as their protecters. Now, let me explain Star Knights. You see, people like you and me can go through a trail. Once it's finished. We get our powers for as a Star Knight. I am a student at your school, you just nevered seen me. This is my Veiler form. We transform into our Star Knight form to protect. Now,'' Rose explained to me as she wrote something a piece of paper. She handed it to me as I took it.'' Meet me at this address after school.'' Rose told me as I heard something. She stood up and grabbed her sword.'' See ya later.'' She said as she crashed through the window into the town.

 

I sat in my desk as I arrived to school late, but late enough to miss my hated class of Math. I sat there in my desk looking at the card Rose gave me. I leaned back a bit as I kept thinking about her. I heard the bell ring as I got up and walked outside the school yard as the day ended. I then started walking towards the address. I then started remembering my mom's death. I then got to a warehouse. There stood Rose in the school uniform.

 

'' Have you deicded?'' she asked. I looked at her dead on.

 

'' Help me protect the Veiler.'' Was all I said.

I looked at Rose as she smiled. She then opened the door to the warehouse as I followed. The inside was different then I had execpted it to be. It was fancy. From the bottom up and down. I looked around and saw a leather croach and chair. I felt them as they felt so comfit. There was a bar in the center. It looked like it had a lot of things. It looked like it had almost every drink known to man. I then saw Rose turn.

 

'' The others will soon be here.'' Rose told me as she sat down on a chair.

 

'' There are others?'' I asked a bit shocked.

 

'' What did you think? That I was the only Knight.'' Rose just laughed.'' There are about 50 Star Knights in this country alone. Well, more if you include the world. You see, four to six Star Knights in a town are assgined and we have a captain. I can't tell you where we come from until you become a knight.'' She and I then heard a noise.'' Oh. They came home.'' Rose said as she stood up as I saw two guys and one girls walked in.'' Minto. I like you to meet Zero, Luna, Micheal, and our captain, Rugi.'' Rose said.

 

Zero had short brown hair, he wore a black tie over a white collar shirt, black jeans, and a red rose tatoo on his right cheek. He stared at me as he sat on a chair. Luna had long blue hair tied in a ponytail at the end, she wore a pink dress and she had a tatoo in the shape of a flower around her right eye. Micheal had semi long black hair, it was long enough to cover his left eye, he wore a sleeveless brown shirt, on his right shoudler was a flower tatoo. Rugi had short red hair, an anger look on his face, sunglasses on, he wore a blue shirt with brown shorts, a flower tatoo was on his knee. Rose then tapped her left cheek as a flower tatoo appeared.

 

'' Welcome Minto, welcome to Star Knight clan number 50, the Rose Fighters. You shall complete our team.'' Rose said as she smiled. Zero walked up to me.

 

'' He doesn't seem that tough, are you sure he can see Veilers and Akumu's?'' Zero questioned.

 

'' Yes. Rose said herself that he saw her kill the Akumu we sented her to kill.'' Luna said as she sat down.

 

'' He doesn't look that much. I bet I can defeat him in a matter of ten seconds.'' Micheal said.

 

'' Enough. All of you.'' Rugi said as he sat down on the corach.'' Minto Kugo. If you truely are like us, then we need to prove it. Your being here tells us you want to become one of us, but it won't be an easy path. Do you understand?'' Rugi asked me as he lowered his sunglasses a bit showing his black eye.

 

'' I do. I understand fully on what's at sake. Please, help me become a Star Knight.'' I said as I looked at Rugi dead on. He then started laughing.

 

'' I like you kid. Alright, in honor of making me laugh, I'll help you.'' Rugi said to me as he walked away to another door. I followed him as we entered a plain white room. The enterance disappeared behind me. Rugi took off his glasses.'' Star Knight mode, 100% capable. Avtivate.'' Rugi said as smoke formed in the room as it was then slashed away. I stared as Rugi stood there. He was in a samuri Kimono as he had a scythe.'' This is my Star Knight mode. And this.'' Rugi said as he spinned his scythe.'' Is my Star weapon. Get ready Minto Kugo, I'm not holding back.'' Rugi said as he rushed towards me.
