(Spoilers) So when exactly did MX gain his keyblade?

I've been wondering this because it's seems weird how YX has a keyblade when he hadn't even left the islands yet when Ansem SoD came to him and gave him time traveling powers to time travel to the future.

 

Of course it could've been like Riku and Terra where Terra visited the islands and performed the keyblade ceremony on him as a kid.

 

Anybody know?

    ^^ Tetsuya Nomura says that when the guy in the brown robe gained the power of Time Travel/Manipulation, every other Xehanort did. So therefore, that solves that plot hole. Basically what the guy above me said!

    They can't change things that have been set already. Aka he knew everything that was going to happen up until 3D, he couldn't do anything about it.
