Jude awoke with a splitting migraine.

‘Ugh, my head where am I. ‘

Jude pushed himself off the floor and scanned his surroundings. He was in a dark, decaying room with no windows that smelled of death. The floor was a made of a grayish wood that seemed to be stained in several places with an unknown substance. The walls had a similar colored, though in a slightly lighter shade, wall paper on them that was peeling back in multiple places to reveal the white wall beneath. On the wall Jude was facing was written Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate in the same unknown substance. Jude took a step towards said wall.

‘Abandon all hope ye who enter here, wait is this written in blood, it looks like it but why?’

Jude thoughtlessly turned around and jumped back when he saw a person slumped over in the corner. After a few seconds he realized the person wasn’t moving. His eyes were drawn to a piece of paper clutch in the person hand. He cautiously crept towards the person and snatched the paper out of his hand; he then darted back and uncrumpled the paper.

 

Dear Player,

 

Welcome to my humble adobe, you have been hand selected to participate in a game I like to call stay alive, which as you probably can guess the goal in which is to stay alive. Simple enough right, well you’re in for a surprise. To give you a fighting chance I’ve bequeath to you a weapon and a magical orb somewhere in this room. I would suggest you figure out how to use the orb before you leave this room, unless of course you don’t value your life which you wouldn’t have been picked if you didn’t.

It was then Jude noticed an orb in the other hand of the corpse and a belt with a scabbard that held a knife around its waist. Jude unbuckled the belt and fastened it around his waist. He pulled out the knife and inspected it. It was a basic silver colored knife with a plain black handle, nothing more nothing less. He sheathed it and reached for the orb.

For the next twenty minutes he tried everything to get the orb to work; throwing it, squeezing it, slamming it against the wall, speaking to it. He collapsed on the floor in a heap panting.

‘It’s hot in hear, I wish a breeze could blow through here. He began to imagine what it would feel like and soon he could swear he could feel it.

‘Wait, I’m not imagining things… I wonder.’ He imagined a tornado in the corner of the room and soon a tornado formed in said corner.

For a while he imagined all sorts of things though he soon discovered that the orb would only conjured things related to wind.

‘I suppose it’s better than nothing.’ He turned to the one door in the room and grabbed the handle, beginning his journey.

"What's wrong Jude??" Viral shouted and looked behind seeing small white creature above Jude. "More of you guys? I will blast you away!" Viral shouted and lunged at Girro with his Lance. Viral was sure that he hitted, but still he hitted nothing but air.

"What kind of creature we are encoutering, it doesn't seem to be as much of combat type as that Ring Master guy" Viral thought trying to figure out how he could get Girro. "Hey Jude, should we make run for it or have you better idea!?"

Marina looked at Viral and at Jude. "What?"Marina asks. She then looked up to see some white creature. Marina stared and then got goosebumps as her knees started to shake as well. "(This house is madness. I have the strange feeling I won't be leaving this place alive...)"Marina says. She backed away and then stood against the wall. She then felt the wall behind her crack and start to crack all around them. Marina then freaked and jumped back away from the wall. The walls around them seemed to be getting weaker and weaker. The floor started to crack as well. After a few minutes everything stopped. The entire area seemed delicate,extremely delicate. "Guys...what are we gonna do with this?!"Maria asks. She took a step foward but when she did,a piece of wood of the floor collapsed on itself. Maria jumped back to her original position. "Crap crap crap crap."Maria says as now they had two things to worry about for now.

 

 

(Sorry that I haven't been posting. Was at Comic-Con 2012 all weekened.)

The girro jumped back before Viral could hit it.

"You're rather rude aren't you."

"What you do want?" Jude demanded.

"I want..." Before the creature could finish everything around them began to crack.

"Oh yeah, this room...unless you want to fall to your deaths, I suggest you get to the door at the end of the hallway."

'But there's no ending to this...' Jude looked and where there used to be an endless voice, a wall with a door now stood.

"Everyone hold still." Jude's orb began to glow and soon enough everyone was levitating.

Jane/Puppeteer looped around the hallway like a drunken person singing random things while swinging her scythe at anything that moves. "Twinkle twinkle little star..." She/it laughed. "Dude, what the hell are you doing? You're making me act like a drunken person!" Jane yelled at the Puppeteer. The Puppeteer shrugged. "I'm not used to it." "Jeez, you're weird." Jane scowled as the ground went up to her hips.

 

"Everyone hold still." Jane/Puppeteer heard. "Ooo! Someone's on the other side of the door!" Jane/Puppeteer giggled. She/it kicked down the door to see three people floating in the air with alarmed look on their faces. "Hey! What's up?" Jane/Puppeteer did a little wave.

Viral jumped back from Jane and then took his lance. "What is deal with his girl?" Viral thought and then noticed Girro still chasing them and room collapsing.

Viral decided to take care of Jane and then carefully pushed her back on room where she had came from and then tried to not being hitted by scythe.

"I'm taking care of this girl!" Viral shouted and then took Jane's attention on different direction to not get caught in collapsing corridor.

"Okay who are you? Another "player"? " Viral asked from Jane and was ready to fight if he should.

'Could this day get any weirder and quit moving damn it.' Jude thought as he adjusted the wind to keep it under Viral so he wouldn't fall to his death when the floor completely gave way.

Jude glanced at the girro and noticed that it was starting to lose it's footing on the cracking ceiling.

"I scratch your back you scratch mine." Jude called out to it.

It immediately understood and leapt onto Jude's shoulder.

"This is a one-time deal."

Jude nodded.

Marina stared as Jude used his sphere to keep them afloat. "(Wow.)"Marina thinks. She then shook her head. "Of course,my sphere."Marina says. She got the necklace out and grabbed the sphere and held it. She then looked up at the girl. "Another player."Marina says smiling. She stared and her smile slowly faded as she noticed that something was wrong. This strange feeling was around the girl. It wasn't...normal. The girl just seemed to let out this strange aura from her...it didn't really felt right. Marina's eyes narrowed. She pointed her sphere at the girl. "Something's not right about here...I don't know what...It just...feels strange..."Marina says as her orb glew brightly. "What's your name?! Are you a player like us?!"Marina asks as she prepared her shepre incase of anything.

Jane/Puppeteer giggled again. "I'm the Puppeteer, and the girl's name that I'm controlling is Jane and yes she's a player like you." Jane/Puppeteer walked into the room and a floor made out of darkness appeared beneath her/it's feet supporting her weight. "Since I'm controlling her, I can also control her orb and it's...darkness isn't it? How lovely, just the kind of power I want. Anyway, let's just get down business." Jane's eyes suddenly turned black and she/it smiled like a creepy clown. Using the floor for boost, she/it jumped off the floor flying straight for Marina, Jude, and Viral. "Oh and I can use my strings but sadly I can't control more than one person but if i could that would have been fun." Suddenly an invisible string wrapped about Jude's waist and swung him into Marina and Viral making them crash into the wall.

Jude let out a grunt as he hit the wall, face first, and began to slide down it towards the void.

"Cut the string, less you want to die too." he instructed/yelled. The girro nodded and quickly crawled down towards the string.

The girro open it's mouth, revealing it small but incredibly sharp teeth, and chomped down on the string around Jude's waist, breaking it.

Jude pushed himself off the wall and caught himself using an updraft.

 

(note if you jump off the wall Jude will catch you)

Marina slammed against the wall and grunted. "Darn it-"Marina says as she started to slide down. "No no no!"Marina says. She then thought for a second. "(My sphere.)"Marina thinks. She took it out and it glew brightly. She moved it around and suddenly she stopped falling. "It's gravity."Marina says. She then moved the sphere up and she was elevated at the same level as Jude. She then looked up at the Puppetter/Jane. "This is not good at all."Marina says as she grabbed one of her dual blades and looked up. "Ok Puppetter,we're just gonna have to kick you out of her body!"Marina says. She really didn't knew what she was doing,neither she had a plan for it. Marina moved her sphere and she got a push towards the Puppetter/Jane and was flying direct;y towards her. "Don't worry Jane,we're gonna get you out!"Marina says as she slashed foward.

Jane/Puppeteer blocked Marina's attack with her/it's scythe without hesitating. "I'm afraid it's not that easy. You see, any pain this body gets, I don't feel anything, it just hurts Jane. If you kill this body then you will Jane and not me~" A dark claw pushed Marina back into the wall. "Pain can wake her up unless you're careful not to hurt her too bad, but no one ever accomplished that, ha ha! You're just like the last players that got stuck here! You're all doomed to die here. Give up and I'll do my best to make your death fast and painless." Another floor our of darkness appeared underneath Jane/Puppeteer's feet in the air and she/it twirled the scythe.

Viral got slammed on the wall and he quickly took hold of pipe on the wall. Viral let Jude to levitate them with his orb and Viral jumped on air and tried to think way to get rid of Puppeteer. "I can't do anything with my orb in this situation, I don't think that lance is much of use either if we have to get that thing out from her"

"Hey Jude, what are we gonna do? I can't think anything clever to help that girl!" Viral shouted and keeped eye on Jane. "Should we punch her?" Viral asked and knew that it would be stupid, but she wouldn't die on that.

Jude quickly pondered the situation.

'We have to cause her pain, but in order to do that we have to get away from the puppeteer...'

Jude used his orb to leaped over towards Viral. He brought him in close and began to whisper.

"Actually, that's not a bad idea but we should cut the strings first. I'm sure the puppeteer can easily form more though so we're going to have to do it quickly and all at once. Come in from the front and keep his attention, when the time is right dash in and slash at the strings."

Marina was sent slamming back against the wall. She looked back upfront. "Pain huh?"Marina asks. She got the dual blades ready. "Maybe if we hurt her just enough. She'll be able to wake up...if that happens. The strings just might be visible enough to cut. Though this is an idiotic theory,it is the closest thing I can think of as an actual strategy."Marina muttered to herself as she had many thoughts running through her mind. A part of her just wanted to kill of Jane to get rid of the puppeter. But the other was humane enough to think Jane as another human being,and that they needed to help her. "Alright. Lets see if this works."Marina says. She stared at Jane. She then used her orb and was sent flying foward. She quickly saw Jane/Puppeteer block with its scythe and a claw slamming her back again. "Now."Marina says as she threw her dual blades. She saw it block one of the blades but the other went directly to Jane's/Puppeteer's leg,stabbing through. "Got it!"

Jane/Puppeteer's expression didn't change but took the blade calmly out of her/it's leg not seeming to noticing blood pouring out, and threw it at Jude and Viral. "Poor Jane, probably screaming her head off right now he he." Suddenly a flash of strings appeared on Jane's body but disappeared faster than a wink. "But you're gonna have to do better than that or she'll soon die of blood loss." Jane/Puppeteer made a dark claw hit the ceiling causing some couple pieces to fall (and lots of huge pieces).

"Well if you say so.. Here goes nothing" Viral said to Jude and then dodged Marina's dual blade. "Hey hey hey, you little puppet! I will be your opponent for now on!" Viral said and spinned his lance. Viral avoided Jane's attacks as well as he could, but it was hard on these circumstances. "Hurry up now Jude" Viral thought and slashed around trying to keep Jane away and same time trying to figure out locations of the strings.

Jude flew towards Marina and whispered the plan into her ear.

"I want you to charge in from the right side, when I give the signal." He added holding his forefinger up to show her the signal.

He then dashed away and silently got into the position.

Marina growled under her breath and somewhat pouted. "Very well. But just saying. If this keeps up we might as well just set her on fire."Marina mutters. She used her sphere and floated over. She grabbed her Dual blade and spun it a bit as she went to her side. She stood still and waited for the signal. "(All of these is nuts. All of this is madness. What kind of place is this?! Certainly the worst of madness inhabits just place!!!)"Marina thinks as she got ready. This place. No. This HELL,was making her extremely anxious. It was not a good thing. Maybe this place wouldn't only make your biggest fears come true. But also take away your sanity,and maybe even help your madness take over and better you.

Jude gave the signal and then charged. When he got close he pulled his knife and slash about where the strings should have been. His knife hit something and broken strings appeared out of thin air.

Why are you saving her, you know as well as I that she's only going to stab you in the back later. Just like the rest of them.

Jude grimaced, but ignored the voice as he wrapped his arm around Jane's waist, planning to dash off with her as soon as the other ropes were cut.

Viral charged on Jane as he got signal from Jude. Viral slashed air above Jane to cut off strings and saw how few strings had been dropped.

Viral tried to cut more, but he didn't seem to hit anymore. "Looks like I have done my part" Viral thought and backed away little bit waiting Marina to take care of her own part.

"Arlight!"Marina says. She used her sphere and she charged foward towards Jane/Puppeteer. She dodged an attack and actually jumped upwards Jane. She then spun and slashed off a bunch of the strings. She kept slashing around until she couldn't really feel she was hitting anything anymore. She looked down at Jane and stabbed her shoulders as she then pushed foward to get away from Jane. She grabbed her bloody blades and jumped back a few feet. She got her blades upward and ready to attack and/or defend. "I cutted off a few. But I dunno if that's enough."Marina says. Suddenly her somewhat sweet and cowardly heart had hardened cold for some reason. Maybe the madness was starting to take over?

As soon as the string were cut and the blade was pulled out, Jude flew away with Jane in tow.

Jane went unconscious. And there was a scream of rage. The Puppeteer itself appeared before them. "This is impossible! No one managed this before! I will eat your souls!"

"Oh, so our "friend" showed himself?" Viral said and gave smirk to Puppeteer. "I think that my orb suits this situation very well, hmm" Viral activated his orb and Puppeteer shouted: "How dare you, I will devour your souls!" Viral shooted acid on Puppeteer and said: "Yes, yes, I know, could you just SHUT UP!" Viral shouted on Puppeteer and continued attacking. "It shouldn't be able to use strings if I can hold him with my orb" Viral thought and raised his lance. "Delivering final blow"

"No!" The Puppeteer screamed, "I will be back!"
