A random thread about a mission in FFVII CC? Sounds fun :D /shot

For those of you who actually have this game and were to look up the mission I'm talking about, I think you might understand what I'm about to say:

This may be one of the longest, most boring and time consuming missions ever!

Yep.

For those of you who don't have the game or are too lazy to check your PSP for what the mission is, let me give you a brief description:

1000 Shinra troops, coming in for wave after wave of absolute boring combat.

Why is it boring? Well, I could have sworn that it took me almost one hour to finish it. And I was making light work of them for the most part. Use Quake on a big group, plow through the remains, simple enough. The only challenge to them is the Super Grenade that they some times throw, and if it hits you, it leaves you with 1 HP. Yeah, I died once from that >.> (Also, this is hardly as 'fun' as the 1000 heartless battle in Kingdom Hearts 2, and that's much quicker because of all the reaction commands :D)

Am I rambling on about this mission for basically no reason whatsoever? Probably :P I'm assuming there are much harder ones. I haven't actually ever gone through every single mission before, but I'm about half way there. Apparently there is a supper boss on the very last mission in the very last section of the 9th category, which can supposedly deal 60,000 damage. If so, then I'm toast xD Better get my hands on the illustrious Genji Armor, that should be fun :D

Best way to wrap up this thread? I have no idea. I could end it with a question about what your least favorite mission is, or how you feel about this mission in particular. *Sigh* Decisions, decisions. Eh, I'm random, take a cookie or something :P Bai

Optional mission. I think it becomes available some time at Shinra Manor, probably when you're escaping. Not entirely sure, but by the time I get to it, I'm in Banora.

i am actually replaying crisis core these days,i am back after modeoheim where i defeated Angeal and got the buster sword,Zack looks awesome as a soldier now ;) Also the mission you mentioned is probably the most annoying, the first time i did it i had to watch a movie while keeping x pressed to attack,it took me half a day to finish it http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png
