"Yay," Sky exclaimed seconding to Raynd comment.

"Okay Sora what do we do first."

All the sudden everything slowed. A great headache came but she refused to show any signs of being in pain.

Something's going on here but what? Or am I just continuing to be paronoid? Or am I just afraid of going into the arena.

 

Shaking the headache off Well I guess we'll all see the results

OOT: Don't give up so soon, I just need a post from another of the eternal nine to continue ( and put you wielders in real trouble...)

vincnet looked up from the spot her was standing in. "i feel a a great power." he pulled out his sword and started walking.

(Sorry i have to study that's why i didn't reply to anything on the site)

 

"Yes Jailxun." answered Haxus "What is it?"

Jailxun walked around looking crazy as usual."

"Well it's about the hunt."

Eckhardt pulled his hood further down over his eyes to shield out the sun, as well as any prying eyes. The air was crisp and moist; it seems that the Restoration Committee had restored the countless fountains throughout the world. And yet, it was famliar somehow. Had he been here before? Perhaps, in his previous life...

 

But now was no time for recollection, or the lack thereof. That man that Haxus spoke of was likely to be in a well-populated world, but the problem was the lack of information. What did this man look like? Would he be recognizable? Then again, what exactly was Haxus' goal? Kingdom Hearts was only a name in the scraps of his memory, and yet something told him that this was the answer he sought.

 

In Kingdom Hearts lie the answers he sought. Eckhardt was certain of that.

{Xiv}

Xiv walked briskly through Twilight Town. The world's position had always interested him. It might be useful as a place of power, should he need it. As he walked, he toyed with the idea of telling the Keyblade Wielders about Haxus's plan. It would certainly sow another layer of chaos to the worlds. Just like Xiv wanted.

 

{Naxan}

Naxan fought and destroyed the Soldier Heartless that had appeared to her. Their appearance had been somewhat of an oddity, Naxan decided. Perhaps they had been sent.

Hearing the flutter of wings, Naxan turned to see a black crow sitting in a window. Maleficence's bird.

"More games?" She asked it.

It seemed to ignore the question as it took to wing and flew around the room. After a few swoops, it dived into a newly made portal. Naxan arched an eyebrow as the portal stayed open. Deciding satisfaction to her curiosity was worth some danger, Naxan followed.

"Woah what a headache." said Mark as he rose from the bed. He wondered how he got here and then he remembered. He had fainted in the courtyard but how had he gotten in this room. He observed the room and saw a bunch of books. He was about to get up when a man walked in.

"Oh you've awaken!" said the man.

Mark thought he was to loud and suddenly both his keyblades appeared.

"Amazing! Who thought that I would have found another keyblade wielder. I must be lucky!" he exclaimed. "Oh yes i forgot my name is Merlin, Merlin the wizard.

The Black Figure stepped out form the alley, blocking Xiv's path a couple of yards ahead. "One of Haxus' pawns. Octavian, if I remember correctly." His synthetic voice fluctuated as he spoke, black smoke drifting out from under his hood. He let out a quick chuckle, which was synthesized as an abrupt, low screech. "Or do you prefer 'Xiv' these days?"

 

A few blocks away, Claire charged toward the Heartless, Gilgamesh letting out a shout as she slashed down on her opponent. The Heartless stumbled backwards, reaching out with its nearest arm. It caught hold of one of Claire's legs, pullig her to the ground. "No you don't!" She shouted, driving her Keyblade into the appendage. With a quick jerk, she severed the Heartless' arm, the creature reeling back in pain.

{Xiv}

Xiv smiled agreeably to the figure in his path.

"Xiv." He replied. "So much easier and quicker to say, don't you think? So, how to what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?"

Drex just sat in place watching the sunset in twilight town. He looked down and saw many people casually walking around. Among those people was a comrade of his, Xiv. He jumped down in front of Xiv. "Any leads?" He asked.

{Xiv}

Xiv sniffed and indicated the hooded figure with black smoke to Drex.

"I might." He replied. "So be polite."

"Red." The cloaked figure addressed the new arrival. "I suppose the more of you, the better." He turned back to Xiv, smoke trailing behind his motion. "I have a message for Haxus, and the two of you owuld make such perfect couriers. I'll keep it short and sweet: 'Stay away from the Keyblade wielders'." Dark energy rippled through the Black Figure's coat, metal pauldrons and two blood red sashes unfurling. He waved the sash on his shoulder back, a low electronic buzz preceding his next words. "Their time will come soon enough. Should he desire conflict," he clapped his hands together, black energy arching between his seperating palms. The man firmly planted one of his hands on his chest, the energy crackling out of existence. "I will oblige him."

Drex just stood there listening to the conversation between the two. "Bad timing? " he asked Xiv.

Sora smiled under his helmet, then opened a portal, "Alright guys! First one in will be the referee!!" and with a flash of light, Sora was through the portal. He stood there, waiting for the rest of his pupil's to get into the arena. "Any day now guys!! I wanna see you in action!!" Sora exclaimed happily, giggling.

 

Zaiz jumped up into the air and slashed one of its arm's shoulder, causing it to dismember. "Alright you little.....big......giant.....whatever the heck you are!! Time we took you down!" Zaiz leaped at the creature, preparing to swing his blade.

 

Zaxiz walked around Twilight Town, his hood up to not expose his identity, he summon's his Keyblade, then see's some heartless run at him. "What am I to fight for..." He swinged, cutting a heartless that lunged at him in half,and the force of the swing decapitating another heartless. The final heartless that jumped at him, he grabbed it by it's head, then vertically ended it's life. Zaxiz was recorded physically the strongest nobody, even stronger than Lexaeus, though has probably one of the worst magic capabilities, his immense and powerful strength makes up for it, as well as his defense.

"Choose me and my brother. We won't disappoint you, just tell me whom you're looking for and I'll be glad ripping him or her to shreds... well or just bring them back."

Jailxun's smile got wider and even more insane.

"Okay here goes nothing," Sky said with a small flash of light flowed from her hand revealing Oblivion.

Creatures appeared all around the arena. Motioning the her two teamates to come and join her.

Being on her own she had pretty much learned to take care of herself flipping from creature to creature but she also knew how much she could keep up her energy for the time being.

With new creatures appearing she knew this was going to be a team effort and not an easy one either

Raynd ran through summoning his keyblade. He immediatly begins to swing attacking heartless.

 

Riku was watching out the window as his pupils battled the heartless.

All the heartless within the arena vanished, then Sora, standing on his Keyblade Glider, happily looked at everyone. "Alright guys, here's the plan, You are all going to work together as one, and all in this, will have to defeat as much of the Mirage Arena as you can. Do not worry, if the situation escalates, I'll step in and stop the fight, alright? Lets all do this!!" and with a flash, Sora was gone, and the first round of the Arena began.

 

Zaiz threw his Keyblade, watching as it chopped one of the two legs it was standing on off, then the blade acted like a boomerang, coming back and chopping off one of its other arms. "Heartless!!" Zaiz slashed Vertically, but the heartless was not fazed. It knocks him back, but he regains balance with air recovery. "What? Is that heartless's body made of something else...?"

"I've got an idea." Gilgamesh said quietly, Claire taking a step back. The arms seemed to come off of this thing well enough, but the body was... well, she wasn't quite sure.

 

"I'm open to suggestions." She replied with the same tone. Why were they whispering again?

 

"Just get right up in that thing's grill. I'll take it from there." If he could've winked he probably would have, but Claire didn;t have time to think about things like that. She dashed forward, directly in front of the Heartless. "Alright, I got this, Jay!" Gilgamesh shattered, reforming into the fused blades. "Chaos Blade! Highway Star! Execution!" The blades seperated, their edges sliding across each other as they did so. This resulted in a massive explosion, throwing not only Claire and Gilgamesh back, but the Heartless as well. "Its eye!" The Keyblade shouted to Zaiz. "Go for the eye!"

Zaiz looked back at Claire, then Gilgamesh, then to the heartless. "Fira!" A ball of Fire shot from his hand, flying at the Heartless. It deflects the Fire ball, but not the Keyblade that went straight and completely through the heartless's eye. Zaiz landed on its head, "Hey Claire!! Finish it!" Zaiz screamed out to Claire.

"Alright let's do this." Sky walked towards her other two teamates enough to make a triangle between the other two.

This was getting interesting her eyes changed to purple as she tried calm down her breath. Putting Oblivion up Sky faced her side of enemies,"Come on guys let's do this to become Masters." She smiled towards the two boys waiting for a reaction

{Xiv}

"For you, possibly." Xiv answered Drex.

He then began to chuckle.

"You sure make an impelling argument." He said to the figure. "Is the one called Claire that important?"

Raynd turned to Sky,"I'm ready when ever you guys are." He held out his keyblade.

 

Riku grinned, waiting for them in the station.

 

Drex stepped back "Claire? You said it was a bad time so I'll just walk away before I hear some I shouldn't." He awkwardly grinned.

Claire pulled herself back up, grabbing the dual blades as she did so. Hopefully, putting a Keyblade through that thing's eye would weaken it enough...

 

And then, she saw something. A vision perchance, or maybe eve a revelation. That man in the silver armor. The one who wielded these blades. Gabranth. Her body began to move almost on its own as she tapped the hilts of the blades together. The blades were set ablaze with searing magic, Claire adjusting her feet into a wider stance. "You... will be... judged..." She spun full-circle, a shockwave shooting out from the blade through the Heartless. She repeated this four more times, each revolution more fluid and brutal than the last. The motions felt so natural, perhaps memories from the weapons themselves.

 

The Heartless lurched forward, its right shoulder and arms falling to the ground before vanishing completely. With a deep growl, almost like a sigh, the rest of the creature fell apart, dissolving into a black cloud. Claire stumbled forward, as if in a trance before snapping out of it. "Gi... Za... Heartless!" Suddenly fully aware, she scanned the station square. No Heartless in sight; she could only see Zaiz and parts of the train station. Tunnel vision was a b-

 

"Claire." Giglamesh panted, breaking her train of thought. "I've gotta rest. Sorry." Without further words, the dual blades vanished.

 

"You did well. Thanks." She made her way to Zaiz, trying to maintain her balance as she did so. Improving... maybe another ten minutes. "Alright, the MAster should be inside. Let's... not keep him waiting."

 

 

Elsewhere, the Black Figure shook his head. "Claire holds no importance. It is what she represents that must be protected." His voice trailed off. "For Alma." He spoke softly, the synthesizer barely registering the whisper. The stalwart tone returned to him, smokey wafts tufting out form his hood in excess now. "Your organization is nothing but a shadow of its predecessor. Be gone from this world, and deliver my message to Haxus."
