Hug~A~Roxas 0 Posted March 21, 2009 You can get most of the cutscenes at khvids.net http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-confuse.png http://www.kh-vids.net/index.php?page=archivev3
DChiuch 5,773 Posted March 21, 2009 The KH-Vids.net cutscenes have extremely low quality. Also, their Japanese cutscenes section is full of broken links. Actually, they don't even have a Japanese section anymore.
Kairi-loves-Sushi 15 Posted March 22, 2009 yeah, kh-vid is very dissapointing now. They do have a tone of broken links. KH13's better.

Cecil_and_Kain 0 Posted March 23, 2009 There is a great deal of motion lag in this video. I suggest investing in better capture equipment if you want a near professional site.
DChiuch 5,773 Posted March 23, 2009 There is a great deal of motion lag in this video. I suggest investing in better capture equipment if you want a near professional site. It's an interlacing problem. The Japanese version of the game only outputs interlaced video (as opposed to progressive scan), and this is what creates the scan lines in high motion scenes. If you view the video at half the size, 320x240, the same that KH-Vids.net uses, the scan lines are much less noticable. As for the capture equipment, we are recording directly from the PS2 to a TV tuner and rendering it in an uncompressed format (at this stage the scan lines are already present due to interlacing) and we then convert to WMV. As for the original Kingdom Hearts in Japanese, we plan to record them again and see what we can do once we have completed the other games.

I wonder what they did to them..? Also, why do the RE:COM scenes lack this problem in japanese?

Re:CoM are able to be ripped directly from the disc, where, with KH1 and KH2, you have to actually play the game and record the scenes.
