So, after hearing about the new Xbox Smartglass do you plan to buy and purchase one? For me no, it looks like a complete rip-off of Nintendo's Wii U. I find it funny how they said that SmartGlass will blow Wii U out of the water and that it will make the Wii U irrelevent. When it's the exact opposite.

Yeha, I heard that it's supposed to be an App used for things like your phone, Tv, IOS, IPad, ect. Still not interested though. Because all those things are expensive. And knowing Microsoft, they are going to put this at an expensive price.

Microsoft doesn't really need a new console, neither does Sony. Both of them, especially the Xbox were designed to receive major software and hardware upgrades relatively easy in the future. And considering that the Wii U does not surpass either console in performance they don't feel the need to pump out a new system just yet. Though there is fairly reliable information about some basic info about both consoles, I'm just thinking the two want Nintendo to make the first move and base their future designs off of what works for Nintendo and what doesn't.

Microsoft doesn't put large price tags on their products, at least anymore than Sony does. You must remember that the main reason why the Xbox was sold more than the PS3 was because the PS3 had a significantly larger price tag. Even now Sony overprices their gaming stuff. You can buy a Wii for the price of the crappy Playstation Move.
