"Summer, a time you get to relax and enjoy life, if you are not one of the destined six. The story all began with that crazy summer camp in Japan, which was not like any camp most people visit. But I am getting ahead of myself. My name is Logan, Logan Hunt. Just your everyday guy who gets picked on alot and has hardly any friends. You see, my mother and father were good people who had to do terrible things in order to make a living because they were so poor. When I was only 4, I was taken to my uncle's place in Florida while my parents were sent to jail for life. I later found out that they had killed themselves for not being able to handle the world anymore. My uncle became my father to me, which I am glad to have such a kind man who cares alot about me. Anyways, the summer of 2012 was where our story, the story of the new tamers, began. It started out for me on the last day of school......................." - Logan Hunt (speaker of the story)

 

 

 

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~CHAPTER 1: LEAVING FOR THE FUTURE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 

 

 

"Bruce, come back here and give me my outfit!" Logan screamed out. He had gone to finish his last period of the year, gym, when his number one rival stole his outfit just as the last school bell was ringing. "You mean these? You want them than come and get them!" Bruce said. The two boys ran until they passed by the prinicpal. "Hold it! Bruce, how many times do you do this?" Dr. Rue asked. Bruce looked down, "Um, this would make the 20th time this year." Bruce said. "And why do you do this? Why cant you just leave Logan alone?" Dr. Rue asked. "I'm sorry. Here Logan." Bruce said. "Good, now Logan, go change. As for you Bruce, this is the final straw. I have been left with no choice, but to ban you from playing football next year." Dr. Rue said. Logan walked away with his outfit and went to the closes bathroom to change.

 

 

 

Later that afternoon, Logan went home to his Uncle's. "How was your final day?" his uncle asked. "Well Tony, not that great." Logan said. "I told you call me father. Let me guess, Bruce again? How many times does that boy do something to you?" Tony asked. "20 times this year, but its okay since he wont be able to come back next year. His family is finally moving away so I will finally be free to live my life, if I even still have one." Logan said. "Of course you have one, but that is your choice to take it or not. I got this letter in the mail for you. It seems like you have been awarded to go to a special camp all the way to Japan this summer." Tony said. "Wait, I got in? Yes, finally my life is looking up. I told you about this a while ago. I leave for this camp first thing tomorrow morning." Logan said. "Well then, I suggest we make your last day here memorible." Tony said.

James shrugged. "I dunno," he said. "I just got a random letter saying I won a trip to this camp, and I thought, 'Why not?' " He gestured towards his friends. "They're all going to the same place." He then realized that Logan was missing. "Hey, where did Logan go?" he asked.

Ray: "He ran outside, as if the smoke affected him more than usually. Actually I'm gonna be outside too for a bit." Ray walked outside, wanting some fresh air.

"Well, see ya," James said. He turned his attention to Travis. "Travis, was it?" James asked. "Well, look, this is my room, and what I say here is law. So, stop smoking, those things are gonna kill you!" he said.

"Sigh, they really are kids, can't handle the smoke..." thought Travis. Travis went to the window and threw the ciggar into the ocean.

 

"I wasn't halfway through, so when we get there, you owe me 1 cigar." said Travis. "It's weird, they're going to a camp as well... It's best if I stick around with these guys.." thought Travis.

 

"So you're going to a camp as well huh? So am I. Do you know what we're gonna do there?" asked Travis to James.

James shrugged. "Maybe to teach us about the "power of friendship" or something like that. Knowing them, maybe to teach us how to play children's trading card games. We won't know until we get there."

Ray was standing out on the deck watching the stars and wondering if there will be any excitement at the camp or somewhere else.

"Well if there's some hot chicks there, I won't mind if it's about card games." said Travis. Travis checked his cellphone. It was almost 8 PM.

 

"You're going down for dinner? I'm starving!" said Travis.

Just as Travis asked that, the phones of Travis, Ray, James, and Logan went off. There was a red screen with a odd symbol. There popped up a message on every phone.

 

Logan was in his room on his bed. He then looked at his phone and saw the screen and the message. He opened the message to read, "Ready? Reply Yes or No" Logan looked at it and then replied yes thinking it was a joke.

"Hmmm..." James said. "Random message, heck yes I'll read it!" He opened the message. "Hmmm...reply yes or no...yes!" He hit the button. "I just got a wierd message," he told Travis.

Ray got out his phone with a message that read "yes or no". Ray: Hm I wonder what this means. Ray, a little suspicous of the message replied yes, wanting to see what happens next.

"What the..." thought Travis. He got a message saying "Ready? Yes or No?". He replied "Yes".

 

James told him that he got the same message. "Maybe it's somekind of joke. Just say "Yes" and ignore it." replied Travis.

With everyone agreeing to the message, the boat started to shake. "Wow!" Logan said holding onto a nearby pole. A huge light came over the boat as it was shaking.

James looked around. "Aw, crap, I've seen this movie before! Women and children first!" he said.

"Wait, what the... the cops?" said Travis. He fell on the floor and put his hands on top of his head.

 

"Better take cover... it might be the cops..." thought Travis.

James looked at Travis, thinking that he was taking cover over an earthquake. "Dude, an earthquake in the middle of the sea? Really?"

"It's the cops, take cover!" shouted Travis. Since he heard no gunshots, he lifted his head. The light was still shining on them, and James was looking at Travis.

 

"Sorry..." said Travis, as he was getting up "Old habits...".

"Dude, you're not wanted, are you?" James asked.

"Nope, but I got into serious trouble once..." said Travis. After he said that, he started to remember those dark days.

 

 

"Take Cynthia and get out of here! Hector's onto us!"

"No, I won't! You're going to get killed!"

"The least I can do is make sure that you get out of here alive! Get Cynthia and get out of here! He only wants the material!"

Gunshots in the distance...

"Just don't die ok? Go, now!"

"Travis, let's go!"

 

Travis noticed James was looking at him. "It's nothing you should be worried about." said Travis.

The boat started to shake even harder and the light got even bigger. The boat then made 3 loud steem noises come out. Logan was holding on for dear life. "What is happening?" Logan asked outloud. 'Maybe it had something to do with that message. That has to be it.' Logan thought and looked at his cell phone. The light was still red and had the symbol. "What is this?" Logan asked looking at the phone.

"I'm gonna go find the others!" James said to Travis. A few moments later, he found Logan's room. "Logan! Are you alright? What's happening!" he called.

"I have no clue what is happening, but I think it has something to do with this message and symbol I got on my phone." Logan said looking at James.

"Really? I got a message too! I answered yes like an idiot, and now the screen looks wierd!" James said.

"Well, I think we might be going where the message was sent from. I dont know for sure, but I am pretty sure this is not a simple ride to Japan." Logan said.

James rolled his eyes. "Really now? You don't say."

Logan walked over to James the best he could. He then hit him on the head, "This is no time for your smart comments. Geez, next time I am staying........." The boat then shook and Logan started to fall overboard.
