Ravex looked over a battle between some Light and Dark forces from a cliff. He laughed maniacally and spoke to himself. "Funny how a few words can cause battles as vast as this." Getting bored, he summoned his staff in a flash of electricity. Ravex pointed his staff at the battle below and decided to let loose three devastating lightning bolts, frying soldiers from both sides. Still laughing, he jumped down from his viewpoint on the cliff and swung his staff like a madman.

Darkol: "You didn't say 'Pleeaase' heh heh heh! Gravira!" Darkol extends his left hand to cast the spell with a twisted smile on his face.

Halara grew more agitated, and she ran to take a slash at darkol, with more tears filling her eyes.

Darkol blocked the attack and made a crushing kick to the ground while saying "Aahh bitch please, showing compassion and love to an animal is meaningless."

"EXCUSE ME?!?!" yelled halara. "meaningless?! It's pretty much my only friend!!!" A tear rolled down halara's cheek as she took another strike. As she did, her wolf began to glow with a bright light.

Zen and Darkol: What the?! A strong light was starting to emerge from the wolf

Darkol: "What's this?!? This insignificant creature has a hidden power?!?"

Zen: "Wow that light, it's so comforting. But I can't just stand here!" Zen used a light beam to destroy the cage.

Darkol: "How could let my guard down against you?!"

Zen: "Maybe your just so unfortunate, or a complete jerk. It's not enough to watch me suffer?! You had to make a girl cry like that?!? It's unforgivable!!"

Darkol made a furious growl and replied, "You haven't changed at all!!!"

Halara wiped the tears from her eyes. "alright, now you've made me mad. Devouring light!!!" yelled halara as her wolf howled and shot a beam of light at darkol. "you better think twice about stealing my best friend!!!" halara said again as the beam of light sorrounded darkol.

Kain heard the screaming and fighting and ran in the direction of it. He soon found Halara with a couple of people he hadn't seen before. "Hey, what's going on?" he asked.

Darkol: "What?!? AAgghh!!

Zen: "If you thought that was bad, wait and see this!!" Zen combined his gunblade and keyblade to form a different weapon. Zen: "Say hello to the keyblaster Mk 1!" Darkol: "What?!" Zen: "Ready?" Darkol: "Noooo!!!" Zen: "Aim!!" Darkol: "No no noooo!!"

Zen: "FIRE!!!" A large beam heads toward Darkol. Darkol: "No no no no no no no AAUGHHH!!!"

"kain?" says halara turning to see him. "well, not much, just a huge fight!!" halara turned around and hugged her wolf. "I've missed you do much!!" she said as her eyes again filled with tears.

"Er, Halara, I don't know how to break this to you," Kain began, "but that is a wolf with very sharp, very long teeth."

"hehe, I know." said halara. "it's his protection." halara got up. "his name is yugima. I've had him since I was little. He's my best friend..." she said.

Zen: "I'm glad to say you have a great bond with your friend.

"hm. Thanks." said halara. "this memory's a sad one..." halara formed an ice sheet in front of the group as she closed her eyes. The memory was then being shown on the ice.

Zen: "What's this?"

"it's a memory. The time I lost yugima." said halara. The memory showed halara as a young girl being sorrounded by heartless. "I thought I'd show it to you do you'd understand..." said halara again.

As Zen was watching the memory, he noticed something. The heartless at that time were the same ones Darkol used today. Zen: So Darkol was responsible for another event.

"hey, give me back yugima!!" yelled halara in her memory as a dark cage sorrounded the memory yugima. The ice to hold the memory shattered, the memory fading as well. "well, that's how it went..." said halara. She noticed that yugima was growling at something. "what is it boy?" said halara.

Darkol: "Oh what a very TRAGIC story!! But wait, I was responsible for that!!" Darkol materializes from a dark portal.

 

Zen: "What?!? How are you still alive?!?"

 

Darkol: "Well I never died to begin with!! What you just defeated was an identical clone I made just before getting caugt by your attacks. While I must admit you two are powerful, but you still didn't have the extra push to kill me! Lucky for you guys I can only use that trick one time."

Halara spun around. "YOU MONSTER!!!!!" she yelled. Yugima continued to growl, until he decided to leap at darkol.

Darkol: "Like a pup would hurt me!!" Darkol kicked Yugima back to Halara.

 

Zen: "You don't know when to quit!!" Zen made a charge, but Darkol shot some dark lighting at Zen and slashed at his torso. Darkol: "As much as I'd like to kill you now, I won't. It would be much more entertaing for you to be at full strength and use the darkness. I'll be glad to fight you tomorrow at the dark depths in Hollow Bastion.

 

Zen on one knee replied: "It's real name is Radiant Garden!" Darkol: "Different name, same place; you know what I mean. Just come; oh, you two, three if you count the mutt can come as well to either watch or die!!. The choice is yours." Darkol steps back into a dark portal.

 

Zen: Jerk!! Zen looks at the hurt Yugima. Zen: "Cura." The spell healed Yugima at full strenght. Then Zen falls flat on his face, exhausted from what happened.

"zen!" said halara. 'hollow bastion? Why there?' thought halara. She got a potion out of her pocket and used it on zen. Yugima came up to zen, it's light glowing again.

Zen: "For one, there's plenty of space to fight. Two, it has large population. And lastly, that's where I used to live and where that @## hole killed my family and friends." Zen got on his feet and took a look at his wristband.

"well, I think we should train a bit before we go." said halara. Yugima growled again. "oh, please don't be darkol..." moaned halara

Zen: "Well that sounds good, but before that I'm gonna get some supplies. I have a good feeling that it's important to be prepared. Especially after that first fight."
