What photoshop do you use?

I have Elements 6 and I hate it and have no idea how to use it o-o;

Anyone know how to use it or anyone got suggestions on what photoshop to get?

i have photoshop 7.0 and i really like it <3 it has some real good effects and it makes really awesome designs; as long as you know how to use it when i first began using it, i had no idea what to do or what a pen tool was rofl. you just either gotta search through google or youtube to find tutorials. or friends

 

the latest photoshops are probably really good and high tech and whatnot, but, in my opinion, they're all pretty similar. maybe a few improvements, and SOME more tools here and there, but that's about it they all technically do the same thing; edit photos lol. in my opinion, it'd be better just to get a moderate, normal photoshop; not too old, but no too new either. new = very expensive o.o; old = not too many tools

I have CS4 and it has been modified by my a friend of mine (like he put in some new stuff and changed the start up screen, lol he is into coding and whatnot), so I got it for free. I would say 7.0 or Photoshop CS are very good ones to have. The new versions are about all the same, but as Jeny said, they might just have a few additions of tools or some new little effects but it is nothing too big.

a couple of people have said stuff about photoshop 7.0 and CS4 but paintshop sounds simpler *if that's even a word* rofl so I think i'll get that ~ <33

my Dad has like a gazillion, squillion photoeditting discs in a box somewhere;; and i'm pretty sure that's in it -runs to find it-

Looool I have CS2, but i think the others like cs3 and cs4 are just the same

I got cs4 yesterday and it wasnt any much of a difference. Just different themes here and there and layout changes for the program?....
