I want input, I'm very curious about what people have to say about his personality.

 

Mx was enigmatic to me at the beginning, and still is in a way, after all, thats what he was meant to be.

His personality was original to me, but it seemed, well, shallow

In fact, i hated his whole design because of it.

What caused him to become evil? And after numerous discussions with my fellow kh lover, i have come to two possible conclusions about mx.

He is either a scientist and nothing more.

or

He is actually trying to make the worlds of light and dark better through bad means.

 

But then, theres probably something more that I'm missing or haven't seen yet like the third game .

He seems to have adopted a "the end justifies the means" sort of attitude, but then, maybe he's just and evil scientist who lost his marbles to the darkness?

 

Im also pretty surprised sora wasn't possessed, and i was so looking forward to him getting yellow eyes and grey hair

He's just a selfish dude that made a dumb mistake in letting darkness fill his heart. That's pretty much all there is to it.

He's a scientist with a thirst for knowledge, and who's apathetic enough about the lives of others to do what it takes to reach the answers he craves. Xehanort has never been shown to do evil for evil's sake; the bad he caused was always part of a plan. I don't think any of it is outright malice. He just wants to know, no matter how much pain he causes in the process.

He never seemed like he had done anything maliciously, and he doesn't seem to do evil for evils sake as you put it, but in some ways it also seemed like he enjoyed watching people suffer. His creepy smiles are reserved for such occasions........

Heh, thanks. The impression I got was that, when he looked happy and smiled them creepy smiles, it was because things were going according to plan. And they usually do. Dynamic to me means a character who changes and develops, and Xehanort's been pretty much the same in his appearances, so no, I don't think he's dynamic.

Seeing as he's not going to be killed, "killed","destroyed"(the way they usually phrase it in disney) he may end up becoming a dynamic character because they may not know what to do with him, now I'm crying oh god plz nomoru don't ruin him

We would need another Xehanort prequel game to find out for sure what his true motives were.
