(poo! sorry guys, it was my fault http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.png I was confused)

Issun was ready, but scared at the same time. It's time... He drew an 'X' in the air. The 'X' zoomed to Issun and wrapped itself around him. Issun was being squeezed and before he knew it, he was just a mist. The mist traveled around faster than light speed. Issun couldn't breath. I'm ready... The lights dimmed. Issun heard screaming. The crowd. Before he knew it, both of Issun's feet were on the ground. He saw his opponent at the other side of the arena. "Hello." Issun said with confidence. "Good luck."

Jason looked at Issun from across the arena. "You too, kid..." He seemed pretty young, but Jason was smart enough to know that if Issun had made it here, then he was likely a force to be reckoned with. Jason looked around the arena, looking at everyone else gathering in the stands. This is their chance to finally see what I can do, for them to find any weaknesses I have... guess I should give them a show then. Jason looked up. "Can we start, yet?"

"Umm...I guess we can..." Issun replied. He stared at his opponent. He didn't know much about him. Issun only knew that he couldn't see much of his face. Issun didn't even know whether or not to make the first move. Issun wasn't sure if he wanted to this, but he did. He took out his paint brush and drew a three vertical lines each under other each other. A small, dust tornado formed above him. Issun's body raised up. The tornado carried. Slowly, Issun controlled the tornado to go near Jason.

Jason looked up as Issun formed a tornado around him, and watched as the two slowly approached him. Already he's stronger than he lets on. Jason took a few steps back, trying to keep a respectable distance between himself and the tornado approaching him. He looked at Issun in it. First lesson: never give your opponent something to work with. "Darkness..." A black flame appeared in his right hand. "Hope you don't mind a bit of heat, bud..." He extended his hand forward, and a blast of black fire shot out of his hand. It connected with the tornado, engulfing it, and Issun, in black flames.

Issun was engulfed in black flames. WHAT!? Issun's mind hurt more than his body. He felt his worst fears and nightmares coming true. His worst fears were attacking him. Wait...Ammy gave me those exorcism slips...if this is darkness.. Issun reached into his pocket and took out the Exorcism Slip L. Let's hopes this works...Issun threw down the Exorcism Slip L down and used his paintbrush to cut it in half. A white spherical shockwave formed. It became bigger and bigger. It washed the darkness away, until they were just regular flames. Issun drew two vertical lines. It started to rain. The flames finally died out. The tornado stopped and Issun fell to the ground. Issun stared at his opponent. The rain only affected the arena and onlookers. The sand turned into mud.

Jason stood still, looking at Issun as rain began to pour down upon the two. He felt the water hitting his hood and bouncing to the mud beneath their feat. "Let's go." Jason began to slowly walk forward, still a considerable distance away from Issun. "Light..." Jason slightly moved his left hand, and 6 pillars of light shot down from the sky around Issun, spinning around him extremely quickly, preventing him from being able to move. "Darkness..." Jason opened his right hand, and a volley of dark orbs shot from his hand into the sky. Slightly moving his hand down, they all began to fly towards Issun, still trapped by the pillars of light.

Ammy, I really need your help! Issun promptly asked Amaterasu.

I can't against light... She replied.

"Oh..so now you answer!?" Issun screamed out loud.

Shall I send Chibiterasu? Ammy asked.

"NOT NOW!!!" Issun yelled, as the orbs of darkness zoomed to Issun. His heart pounded. His breathing became heavier as one of the orbs of darkness entered his chest. His worst fears were realized. Amaterasu never cared about him. The rain fell down and sizzled on his skin. Why...why.. Another orb of darkness zoomed into his mind. It engulfed Issun in darkness. Wait, how does darkness and light mix together? Issun tried to lean towards the light. It didn't work. This takes man powerIssun tried again. Once he touched the light, it hurt his body immensely. But he felt himself being healed as soon as he returned to the darkness. The light still remained to be spinning, but Issun noticed that they were fading. Issun started to learn again. He felt as if he were on fire. The light faded, until it was transparent. Issun felt tired, but the darkness healed him. But even though the darkness healed and relieved his pain, Issun's mind was still corrupted. He found himself forgetting a lot of things. Who were the good and who were the bad. The light was see through, but Issun can still tell it was there. "At least I can see.." he grumbled under his breath. Issun made leaned again. The skin on his hand started to peel off.

Jason continued to walk towards Issun, still moving slowly and calmly to Issun. He was carefully watching Issun's reactions. Looks like this kid doesn't like the light too much... that works... Jason stopped walking. He stood still and raised his right arm. "I hope you're ready. Light..." Jason swung his arm down, and 5 pillars of light came crashing down in front of him, lined up. He moved his arm forward, and the pillard shot forward, shooting across the ground at an extremely fast speed towards Issun.

"AMMY!" Issun yelled out. A super blinding light filled Issun's eyes. He couldn't see. The light finally dimmed. There, Issun saw Chibiterasu. Tendrils of light were attached to her body. The god absorbed each pillar light, though the tendrils started to fade away. "Wha- what's happening?" Issun cried out. Once the pillars stopped, Chibiterasu fell to the ground. Issun ran to Chibiterasu. The Dog God was slowly dying. A tear streamed down Issun's face. I'm sorry.. Issun cried to Amaterasu. Amaterasu didn't respond. Issun took out the stray bead. Don't fail me now... Issun had to keep the bead in his hand at all times. He looked up at the boy, 'Jason'. How dare you.. Issun thought with rage. Issun felt energy. He felt the adrenaline. Issun sprang up and grabbed his Celestial Brush. He drew an infinity sign towards Jason. A flame the shape of an infinity size surrounded Jason. There was no escape. It's my turn.. Issun though, grinning.

Jason looked around himself, a flaming infinity sign surrounding him. Since he knew little about this kid, he could tell that his energy was somewhat drained by Jason's initial onslaught of attacks. He could also tell that he was enraged. He's earned a strike or two. No going easy though. Jason looked at Issun. Whatever had just happened, he hadn't intended, but what's done is done. Jason had to focus on defending himself. Jason punched th ground beneath him. "Darkness!" A dome of black fire surrounded Jason, which would hopefully protect him from the attack to come.

Why... Issun kept on thinking. The thought polluted his mind. Jason is the enemy. No more Mister Nice Guy. Issun took his paintbrush and drew a circle in the sky. The rain stopped. The clouds cleared up, and the sun shone. This gave Issun hope. Issun felt his energy refreshed. But it wasted a whole ink tank. He only had three left. He reloaded another tank. Two left. These guys from the future are pretty tough. Issun drew a circle with a straight vertical line through the circle. A golden cherry bomb appeared next to Jason's defense. Another spherical shock wave of light formed, like the Exorcism Slip L. The defense seemed to be affected slightly, but not majorly. It's a stupid bomb of light. What the heck!? Issun drew a snow flake above the defense. A giant snowflake formed. The arena turned cold. Icicles fell from the snowflake, but once they touched the darkness, they started to melt. There must be some way to do this... The whole arena turned icy. Chibi was still lying on the floor. Issun ran up to him. Chibi was a sun god. He would melt his area. Issun grabbed Chibi and formed a small block of ice. Issun jumped on top of it and drew a circle around it. The block 'blossomed', and grew taller and taller until Issun was able to see the whole arena.

Jason got up from the ground, the dome around him vanishing, and the stadium becoming icy. Looks like all of this kid's power comes from that paint of his. And he only has a limited supply of it. I can either wait for it to run out, or take him down before that. Preferably the latter. Jason then watched as Issun raised himself on a large pillar of ice. Jason shook his head. "You don't learn, do you...?" He opened his right hand, and a dark fireball shot out of it, hitting the base of the pillar, causing the thing to slowly melt and break apart. Jason still had one more trick up his sleeve, something no one in the arena knew about, but he saw no reason to use it yet.

Issun fell on the ground. Chibi broke his fall. I need to get Chibi away... Issun drew an X on Chibi. He soon disappeared. "Hey, I know chaos...a slightly different form of darkness" Issun's lips curved upwards slightly. Issun drew the kanji for chaos. The kanji turned black. This was a rare celestial brush technique. Only Yami and Celestial Envoys used it. The kanji split apart into smaller pieces. I total, there were 9. The kanjis randomly were scrambled around the arena. They sunk into the ground. Almost instantly, trees popped up from the ground. Issun remembered them from Hannah Valley. They threw fruits of darkness to their opponent, causing suffering. But these were stronger than the other trees. They would have to bloom to become tame.

Jason looked around as trees burst out of the ground. He had effortlessly maintained control of the entire fight thus far, but he was unsure of what these things could do. "Light..." Jason opened his hands, and two twin blades of light formed in his hands. They weren't his usual weapon (he had yet to draw it), but they were fast and dangerous. Jason saw one of the trees beside him. He quickly spun his blades and slashed, the tree falling as it was cut in half. He looked at Issun from across the arena, and pointed a blade at him. Jason intended to finish this soon, before Issun brought out more tricks.

This was definitely the most engaging fight so far. She knew Jason was a good fighter, and was pretty sure he could do this. But the other guy had shown he wasn't one to be messed with. Getting up from her seat, she walked up to the railing. Neena thought to herself about what she had revealed about her powers and abilities to the other contestants. She had used a dark corridor to get here, when she had been shocked Neena had drawn her sword. The man in white had made her draw her bow. So they knew about her weapons and her affinity for darkness. Her light magic and forms were still underwraps. Of course Jason knew she had light magic. There was one other thing that wasn't technically revealed. Neena took out her necklace from her shirt and gazed at it. She shuddered at what it contained. Neana.

Issun's hearing died out. His breathing rate increased. All Issun saw was the frightening image of Jason holding a sword towards Issun. I don't have that much tricks up my sleeve like this guy.. Issun drew a slash between Jason's body. This was known as power slash in the celestial brush techniques. It wouldn't cut Jason in half. Jason wasn't weak. But it would injure him.

Jason suddenly felt what seemed like a blade slashing down his body. He stumbled back in pain and breathed heavily for a moment. He then slowly moved his head to look at Issun, and vanished. He reappeared almost instantly in front of the boy, and he swung a blade horizontally, as Issun dodged under it. He swung his other vertically, and Issun raised his brush to block the strike. Jason then raised his leg and kicked Issun across the arena. As he slid on the ground, Jason began to slowly walk towards the boy again. His blades weren't lethal. He didn't want to kill anyone here. But they were dangerous... though not his normal weapon of choice.

Texsera stared. The battle was getting more fierce by the second. "(Wow...amazing.)"Texsera thinks. She stared and watched. She was actually learning a bit from this. What a battle. "(Jason truely can control both light and darkness so easily. And this Issun kid is full of surprises too.)"Texsera thinks. She looked up and watched. "This is the most interesting match I've seen so far." Texsera blinked and looked around her. She then payed attention back at the battle. "(Neku. You're watching as well.)"Texsera thinks. "I didn't wanted to miss any interesting match. I am pleased with this one. I just hope these kids don't get trampeled over by eachother. Hehehehe." Texsera looked up and then back foward. She made fists and seemed to try to hold in a yell. She suddenly stood up,throwing her fists into the air. "Go Jason! Win this thing!"Texsera yelled at the top of her lungs, cheering. Maybe a way of showing Neku that she was trying to ignore her. Also to cheer on Jason.

"Well..." Issun thought. "I guess this is it..." His body ached. But I must make one more surprise. Issun thought into his mind. Deep into his mind. Ammy, blow their minds away! And apparently, Amateratsu, the great wolf Sun goddess answered. Issun felt Ammy's wolf body in between his legs. He was riding Ammy, like in the old days. White tendrils of great power were attached to her back. Her most powerful divine weapons, the glaive known as Thunder Edge, the reflector known as Solar Flare, and the rosary known as the Tundra Beads were floating around her. Solar Flare slowly floated to her back. Ammy's brightness was too bright, Issun shielded his eyes. Remember Ammy? Remember those times we had? Against that Spider Queen? Crimson Helm? Orochi? Well, this guy's no different. Ammy nodded. Slowly, she started walking. Golden flowers grew behind her walk. Slowly, she started to run. Rainbows formed below her. It's all in all Ammy! Issun couldn't breathe. This is too much! He closed his eyes. The G forces were too great. His chest grew tight. He opened his eyes. Ammy was zooming straight to the bow known as Jason. Ammy ran right through him! Issun didn't even see Jason's body fly or anything. Hopefully Jason got injured in some kind of way. Ammy started to rise. Issun held tight onto Ammy. The sun came up. Issun felt his temperature rising. He looked down below him. The arena. He closed his eyes. Ammy, where are we going? Issun tried ask telepathically. To the Celestial Plains! Amaterasu replied almost instantly.

OKAMI!!!!

(lol sorry going on vacation)

Jason flew back through the air, caught off guard. He smashed into a wall of the arena and fell to his knees, cracks appearing where he had impacted. He coughed a little bit, then looked around. Issun was gone. He looked around, but couldn't find him. He slowly got back on his feet. He heard cheering from the stands. He turned and looked up, seeing Texsera on her feet, cheering his name. He smirked a bit under his hood. Looks like I have a fan now... Issun wasn't coming back. The hardest part his mission was over. He passed the first round. He looked at Texsera from the arena, and gave a quick nod.

Texsera smiled and threw a fist up into the air. "Yes. He won."Texsera says. "He got lucky." Texsera smirked and corssed her arms. "(Just admit it,you are impressed.)"Texsera thinks. "So what if I am. I must now ask you. What will YOU do if you face him?" Texsera suddenly looked up to Neku's question. She haden't really thought about it. She stared at Jason. "You've seen his streanght and analized his powers in this match. When will happen if you two face? I can assure you it won't be a friendly competition, especially with a prize such as power beyind imagination." Texsera heard Neku chuckle as she appeared next to her. Neku looked up with her piercing yellow eyes. "Be friendly all you want. At the moment of truth. We will have to spill blood,if we are to impress our superiors, and prove ourselves worthy of the prize,Texsera."Neku says. Texsera stared and breathed. Neku was right. As friendly as she was and wanted to be,friends or not,in the end, there's only one winner to that prize, and she needed to be that winner. So it would be gloves off when the moment came,if it ever does.

Jason's expression darknened under his hood when he saw that wolf appear beside Texsera. It was there when she was screaming in her sleep that night, and it wouldn't help her. Worse, it seemed to him that it was what was causing her that pain. Jason knew he didn't like it, and even from this distance, he could feel that it didn't like him either. Jason wondered if possibly it knew that Jason was trying to help Texsera become stronger, trying to help her with her identity without hurting her, trying to save her from falling into that group of psychopaths. Either way, he had a lot of catching up to do with her when he was out of the arena. Jason turned and began to walk out of the arena to where the dorms were.

Texsera watched as Jason walked inside the building, over to the dorms. "Desu."Texsera says as she jumped off the bleachers and hurried over to Jason. Neku stared as she quickly followed, dissapearing right behind her. Texsera walked inside the building and looked around. She then spotted Jason down the hall. Texsera smiled and walked over to him. "Jason!"Texsera says as she catched up to him. She looked at him. "Congratulations on your win out there. You are a very strong oponent."Texsera says as she got her hands behind her back. "You're still friendly towards the enemy? Patethic. Play friend all you want, after all of this is over only one will return home with the prize and you'll either return home with pride or with your tail between your legs. You'll have to face Xemnas anyways." Texsera growled to herself and shook her head, ignoring Neku's words.

Jason turned to see Texsera approach him, congratulating him. He couldn't help but slightly enjoy her support. Jason crossed his arms and smiled under his hood. "It helped to have a cheerleader in the sidelines for me. Thanks for the support." Jason then noticed her slightly growl and shake her head. It was easy to tell that it was that spirit wolf that was getting under her skin. Either way, Jason had a new mission now that he was here: help Texsera, show that thing, and her, that she was strong, possibly help her put together her past, and maybe, show her that the Organization couldn't help her. "So, how did that companion of yours respond to when you kicked its ass in that fight you two had?" Jason was talking about when Texsera and Neku left the arena after Jason had talked to her. He had seen them leave, so he knew what they were doing, but there was no indication that he should know that Texsera had come out on top.

"Nice one Jason." He spoke as he passed by Jason but did not stop as he continued on his way to do something. He couldn't exactly figure out what but it was important well at least he thought so. "That's right I need to get it together before it becomes unchangeable. Don't want anything bad to happen now at least as long as i'm standing a chance that is."
