It was announced that Michael Fassbender will be playing the lead role in the upcoming Assassin's Creed movie.

Michael Fassbender is known for playing Magneto in X-men: First Class, Stelios in 300 and more recently David in Prometheus. He was also in Inglorious Bastards if anyone saw that...

Thoughts?

I personally don't play Assassin's Creed but Michael Fassbender is from my small town in Ireland and I support him in anything he does and I am sure he will make the movie at least watch-able because lol movies based on video games.

I just saw him in Prometheus the other day and he was really really really creepy in that movie. But, yes, he is definitely a good actor. I'm still iffy on whether this will be a good movie, though...

hey me and Micheal share a blood relative (Micheal Collins) i didnt know that until i checked his wiki there guess that would make the two of us a sort of distance blood relative

An assasin's creed movie, me and my friend would love that, we are big assasin's creed fanatics

Thats awesome. I like that guy.

Also, he's an Fassbender. More deadly than a bloodbender.

AC Movie huh?

Might watch it.

Assassin's Creed movie???!!

Let's hope it doesn't suck like Mortal Kombat :Annihilation!lol

I think that an Assassin's Creed movie could actually work. But, I hope that they don't ditch the Animus aspect, although I wouldn't mind a whole new protagonist.
