Well the title pretty much says it all. It was revealed in the 33rd issue of shonen jump. Although it is not clear whether it will be animated or live action , but let's just pray to God it is not live action.

I think they should try to make a game where shit hits the fan when it comes to recreating the experience of the anime. Either that, or Raging Blast 3, OR a REAL fusion of Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi... unlike "Ultimate" Tenkachi, which failed in that aspect.

As far as content goes, this is pretty cool... BUT... it's not really going in the direction I was thinking of when I said we should get a game where we have the most authentic experience in reliving the anime. I mean, yeah, if you take the best elements from all the DragonBall games and put it into one, it'll be a good game... but, let's be honest here, we haven't really scratched the surface of how far we can go. This IS DragonBall after all. I mean, the Budokai series was basically the DBZ version of Street Fighter, with some extra perks; Budokai Tenkaichi / Raging Blast was closer to the show, but still not enough. Do you see what I'm saying?

 

Also, and you might disagree, but I don't want a huge roster... IF we have to be on the same level as Budokai Tenkaichi 3. I mean, seriously, half the characters were weak as hell fodder like Yajirobe, Babadi, Pilaf, and a random Frieza Soilder. Plus, the giant characters are only fun in Boss Battles, otherwise, they're OP as fudge and a huge game breaker.

He already meet namco bandai in 2011 and showed them his sheets. My faith for a good dbz game was restored again after all the bad things that happened in this generation, finally something good will came.

I agree with all of that. I'm just Saiyan, though, with the way that DragonBall is, and the face that we've basically been rehashing the Budokai/BT formulas for the past few years, something fresh and something even better than those two franchises combined wouldn't hurt, I would think.

Yeah, i know what you mean. I would like something different. That's why these days, i find myself playing the Legacy of Goku series that was on GBA. Its a true version of DBZ, made into an actual Role PLaying game(with side quests, hidden items and bosses, and Experience to level up your characters). It's so fun, even after all this time. Another reason i like it, is because its so unique and is a breath of fresh air from all the other DBZ games which are basically fighting, even if thats entirely what DBZ is about.

Theres no shit dbz game as i far i know in consoles. Even ultimate tenkaichi has its strongs points. What screw it was the gameplay.
