Sorry I took so long, but on the plus side Xiek is back(or at least in the past) =D. This is about the time he spent in the Realm Of Darkness. I'm still not sure if i should call this a prequel or a sequel to my first fanfic(http://kh13.com/foru...n-all-chapters/) because the events in this story take place in between chapters 1 and 2 of the first story.(Reading the first story is recommended but not necessary) Well i hope you guys like it, enjoy http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png

Chapter 1: Details

I've been here a while. From what I've discovered so far I can tell it's been around seven years. I can't remember much. The last thing I remembered before waking up in this world was fighting with some wicked old man. I honestly feel sorry for whoever has to call him "grandpa", if he is one. Most of my memory's still missing, although I remember a few things. If only i could find some kind of doctor, but i can't. I'm stuck in a world of pure darkness. The only light I've ever seen here is this bright light at the far edge of the ocean. Something known as Kingdom Hearts used to be in the sky once, but it disappeared about a year after I came here. I've been looking for a way out ever since i got here. I don't even know what I have outside this world that I'm trying to get back to. What if this is where i was born and meant to be stay?

Fortunately I've got my keyblade-or should i say keyblades? They popped into my hand out of nowhere when i first encountered the heartless. They've been my source of survival ever since.I also came across something called a Dusk. It didn't seem to want a fight with me. From what I've seen, there's some kind of conflict between the Heartless and Nobodies, yeah that's what they're called. I'm glad i found that abandoned house, if i hadn't, I would have no idea what the hell was going on. That was where I managed to discover how long I've been stuck here. Luckily for me, there were also plenty of books about Nobodies, Heartless and a lot of other things. That's how i came to know, I am a Nobody. I return to that house plenty of times, it was like a "home-base". But then again, it's not like i couldn't move into any other house, after all every single one of them seems to be abandoned. Welcome to the Realm Of Darkness, population: darkness.

Oh and I seem to have made a few friends. It's a group of some Elite Heartless,who called themselves "The Elitists". They really hate Nobodies. They're the very reason I have to live far away from the castle. They walk around in there silver cloaks, attacking any Nobody they can find. It keeps making me think they're planning something big. And now, I usually sneak around trying to find out what they're up to. So far I've found out that there's exactly eleven of them and they're definitely looking for Kingdom Hearts. I also know I'm on their "most wanted list".

Most of the time I've spent here has been used for trying to bring them down and getting to that castle. I'm sure if I can get there I might be able to find a way out. Of course, if I want to have any chance at doing that, I'm gonna have to go look for all the Dusks. They definitely come from somewhere. It's been a year since I started searching and I know I'm close. Hopefully I'll get some help soon, fighting Heartless every day- but i guess in this case it's just night, 'cause that's all this place ever seems to have. Anyways, time to go.

Chapter 2: Encounters

 

 

 

They sat in a round room with strange, dark-purple thrones. Each of these thrones was extremely tall and looked like it was made out of dark-purple vines and thorns. The only way to sit on them was to either appear by a dark portal or somehow jump at least thirty feet high and manage to sit on it. There were eleven men in their silver cloaks and a throne for each of them. All were of the same height except for one which was higher than the others as if to show who the leader was.

"The boy is really starting to get on my nerves", one of them spoke. None of their faces could be seen, but they all knew each other well enough to tell who was who.

"Indeed, he has been sticking his nose into places it does not belong", the one on the highest throne-the leader- spoke,"but we also have other issues to worry about."

"True that may be, but i still think we should take care of him before he brings too much damage to our plans", a female voice spoke. The leader sighed as if this was just a waste of his time.

"Fine. All those in favour of striking down this Nobody, raise your hand". Everyone, except for his second-in-command and two others raised their hands. Seven votes against four.

"Well then, it has been decided. Rugal, since you were so excited to be the first to raise his hand then perhaps you should do the honors."

"What!? Me?", Rugal asked. He seemed quite surprised by this decision.

"Yes, you! Now go and don't dare return until you've finished him or else I'll end you myself!", the leader spoke, sounding rather angry. He really did not feel like wasting any time or energy on Xiek.

Meanwhile, Xiek ran across a small, unused road fighting Heartless as he went by. Like most of the days he had spent here, the Heartless would just come and keep attacking until he managed to find a good hiding place. Day by day it seemed, that more and more Heartless would come. In the past it would have been a problem, but now that he was highly experienced, it was a lot easier, but still felt like a waste of time. Xiek stood,both keyblades in hands, still surrounded by Heartless. Fortunately, Xiek had picked up quite a few tricks. He smiled and fire appeared on both his keyblades. He brought them close together and then pointed them in opposite directions. Several small arrows of fire shot out and eliminated all of the Heartless within a second. A dark portal opened behind him and a man in a silver cloak stepped out. Xiek looked rather surprised, this was the first time one of "The Elitists" decided to fight Xiek himself. Though he had been in the Realm Of Darkness for years this was the first time he saw someone use a dark portal.

The man removed his hood. He had blue hair that was long enough to reach his shoulders and had red eyes."Ah you must be Xiek. You've been a real pain in the neck y'know?", Rugal spoke.

"Look who's talking", Xiek replied. The man chuckled.

"Oh by the way, you can call me Rugal."

"I don't need to know your name."

"Well I'm supposed to put an end to you, so i just thought it'd be fair to let you at least know my name when you beg for mercy", Rugal spoke with confidence as two long,black, curvy thorns slowly grew out of his wrists like swords connected to him.

"Well i guess that's enough chit-chat now",Xiek said and ran towards Rugal.

It was a much shorter fight than Rugal had expected. He was on his knees breathing heavily. No more than five feet in front of him stood Xiek. He barely had a scratch on him, except for a small tear on the sleeve of his hooded shirt."H-how? J-just you wait, when I get back you'll be sor-" .Xiek saw a few small purple flashes of light behind Rugal. Rugal's eyes widened, he fell to the ground and faded away. Behind him stood the source of the purple lights, a man in a black cloak holding what looked like some sort of purple laser-gun.

"Not bad kid", the cloaked man spoke.

"Who are you?", Xiek asked.

"Why don't you just call me a friend?", the man said.

"No thanks", Xiek replied and prepared his keyblades, with a look on his face that clearly showed he was ready to fight. The man laughed.

"Seriously? It's like all of you give me that same look!", he was clearly feeling amused,"I wonder if I'd make the same face if I had a keyblade". He laughed some more.

"Just tell me who you are!", Xiek demanded.

"How about you come with me and find out?", the man answered.

"And if I don't?".

"Well, then I could always just leave you here with them", he said pointing to something behind Xiek. Xiek turned around to see a few more Heartless coming towards him. Xiek sighed.

"Fine".

"Now that's a good boy." He lifted his weapon and shot several, small, purple shots at the Heartless, successfully eliminating them."Follow me kid". He turned around and began to walk, Xiek followed.

Most of the thrones were empty. Only the leader and two others were n the room. Just then, six others appeared on their thrones at the same time and looked towards the leader."What happened my liege?", one of them asked. The leader said nothing, only pointed towards what looked like giant, dried up plant that had not been watered for a month.(Rugal's throne)

"It seems we have bigger problems then I may have anticipated", he finally said.

Chapter3: Cloaked Allies

 

 

They reached a dark abandoned area, few buildings stood and, not surprisingly, they were abandoned.”Come out, come out wherever you are”, the cloaked man said sounding rather joyful. For a while he heard no response.”Seriously guys, you can come out “, he said again. Just then dark flames appeared all around them and in their places appeared eleven figures, each of them wearing a black, leather cloak.”Oh great, more cloaks”, Xiek thought. One of the cloaked figures stepped forward, he was tall and broad. He removed the hood of his cloak to reveal a dark skinned man with long,silver hair and glowing,orange eyes.It reminded him a lot of the old man he fought." We've been watching you Xiek", he said in a deep voice. Xiek wanted to ask how he knew his name and even more he wanted to know why everyone called him Xiek. He remembered calling himself Kei when he was fighting that old man. But this was not the time to ask stupid questions.

Then another cloaked figure removed his hood, revealing a young man with green eyes and orange,spiky hair."The name's Axel, got it memorized?",he said.

"Um...yeah", Xiek replied.

"I'm sure you've already met Xigbar", the silver-haired man said, pointing to the man standing next to him, who had now removed his hood.

"Xemnas, we can work on getting to know each other later", one of the cloaked figures. There was silence for a while.

"So, are you guys being oppressed by "The Elitists" too?", Xiek asked.

"No, we just got here", the silver-haired man spoke," we noticed the lesser Nobodies hiding and decided not to reveal ourselves for a while, but I suppose since they know how capable you are now and after a few 'incidents' they know of our presence as well". Xiek thought it was slightly annoying that he made so many unnecessary hand-gestures while he talked, but he chose to say nothing about it.

"Well then when do you intend to fight?", Xiek asked. The silver-haired man turned around.

"Soon", he replied and disappeared into a strange,dark portal. "Where did he go?", Xiek wondered. The others also left and only Xigbar stayed.

"I'm guessin' you don't know how to use the dark corridor do you", Xigbar said.

"The dark what?". Xigbar laughed. He then raised his hand and a dark portal appeared in front of him.

"Well, get in", Xigbar said. Xiek seemed to hesitate then he walked in. He appeared in a large, white room with a huge crystal ball in the center and windows on the sides, all of them were too high to see through. Small thrones were placed in a circle with a large nobody symbol made on the top of each of them. All were seated, except for Axel who came up to Xiek.

"Hey welcome to Castle Oblivion, our current HQ".

"Oblivion?" Xiek asked.

"Yeah, oblivion. O.B.L.I.V.I.O.N, got it memorized?".

"I guess so", Xiek found it a bit annoying."I didn't ask for the whole spelling", Xiek spoke in his mind. At the same time Xigbar came from behind and the dark portal closed.

"Nice I see you got the kid a seat", Xigbar said. It was then that Xiek noticed there were thirteen thrones in the room."Well since you're gonna be working with us' you should probably wear this", Xigbar said as a black cloak appeared in his hand out of dark flames. Xiek took it and put it on. They then took their seats.

"I assume you all know the plans for tomorrow, well except for Xiek", the silver-haired man, whom Xiek now knew was called Xemnas."We will begin our attack in a few hours, Lexaeus will fill you in".
