In "BLEACH: The Shadow Still Lurks....", the story takes place in between both the Lost Agent Arc and the Thousand Year Blood War Arc, as Ichigo has now regained full mastery over his Soul Reaper powers but now merged with the remnants of his Fullbring, just in the nick of time too, as a group calling themselves "El Vengador" have appeared and that they plan on simply taking revenge for the Arrancars after Aizen's defeat and resume his plans of creating the Oken by destroying Karakura Town and then stealing it's souls to make the Oken and finally continue onwards to kill both the Soul King and the royal family, however, unlike Aizen who was rushing his plans, are El Vengador taking things slowly so that way, the Soul Society won't know what El Vengador are up to just yet and now, can Ichigo and the others take down this seemingly weak group before they can carry out their plans? find out, in "BLEACH: The Shadow Still Lurks....".

When the shinigami came to defeat the Hollow, the shinigami noticed that Maxwell was looking at him, so he asked him if he wanted power. Maxwell said yes, and he got Shinigami powers.

Maxwell was walking home, when all of a sudden, he noticed that there were hollows appearing all over the town. Ah, man, I wanted to go home and watch my favorite tv show, well, I guess that I'll have to defeat the hollows first before going home, Now where am I gonna put my body at, Maxwell thought. He looked over to his left and saw an alley, that had boxes big enough for him to place his body. Alright, now I just need to remember this place, don't want to forget it. Maxwell then memorized what the alley looked like, then used his shinigami badge and took his body and placed it inside of a box. Maxwell then jumped up onto the roof of a building and headed toward where the hollow was.

"Hey, will you keep the noise down? im trying to sleep over here." said Kogo to Maxwell, appearing from a distance behind him.

"Um, sorry, I guess and who are you, and how can you see me?" Maxwell asked.

"....Name's Kogo, Kogo Shinomura." said the stranger revealing his name to Maxwell.

"My name's Maxwell, now can you explain to me how you can see me?" Maxwell asked Kogo.

"....Sorry, i can't." said Kogo to Maxwell.

"Well, whatever. I guess that I'll be seeing you around then." Maxwell then turned around and headed towards the hollow once again.

"...." Kogo made no reply at all, as he saw Maxwell head off before him.

Maxwell thought, What a strange guy, oh well, time to go find that hollow and destroy it. Maxwell then looked in the distance and saw the hollow. Ah, that's got to be it. Maxwell then drew his sword, leapt up high in the air, and brought his sword down on it, and it disappeared. Maxwell then sheathed his sword. All right, now to go find my body, now which alley did I put it in. Maxwell pondered that for a few minutes, then screamed, "I FORGOT WHERE I PUT MY BODY!!!!!!!!! WHERE IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Here, catch." said a both strange and mysterious Arrancar that throws Maxwell's body to him.

Maxwell looked surprised when his body flew at him, but he caught it just in the nick of time. Maxwell shouted, "ARE YOU CRAZY, TOSSING MY BODY AT ME!!!!!!"
