Im on level.....44 i think and im on the part where sora fights out that kairi's heart is inside him and he fights riku. He doesn't have much for life but as soon as he uses his dark power the whole time i end up dying......sora start to use potionbs or cure but not fast enough and riku kills him T_T.......plus i have watched that sora and riku cutscene....non stop.....i started the new game and im trying to fight more heartless to level up more.......

Don't lock onto him than just glide around and dodge roll when you hit the ground works like a charm

i think it would prolly be better to lock on so u know that u dont land on him when u stop gliding. in any case, lock on and glide around, make sure ur far enough away, try to get to cure or a potion while gliding, then do it immediately after landing. i had the same problem when i first played, that cutscene is burned into my head

thanks but i do glide and have everything ready it green to and he says cure/heal and i get hit just before the health goes up/ get hit when sora have to to saying heal.....

My battle informations. Copy pasted from older topic "evilll riku!"

 

Riku (2nd form) is hard battle in KH. These are my intsrucions. You can beat him oher ways, too.

 

PREPARATIONS:

 

Keyblade: Something, that gives you good MP and ATK. You will need lot of MP, to use Cura

Level: 45 is good in easy mode. In expert, i prefer around 50.

Shortcut: CURA ON X! HELPS.

Potions: Full yourself with Elixirs. If you dont have enough Elicirs, use Hi-potions.

Special Moves: No need to use these (Like Ars Acanum and others.)

Abilities that are good: Glide, High jump, All the Second Chances etc

 

BATTLE BEGINS:

 

Phase 1: First Riku is not that hard. He uses some heavy attacks, and jumps around. Be sure to attack him, when he is NOT doing any attacks. If you try to attack same time with Riku, you usually just get hit. Some attacks are blockable, and you get about 96exp from that. But, dont battle just for block exp. Sometimes the block does not work, and you lose HP. After Riku has lost some HP comes...

 

Phase 2: Riku starts to do badder attacks. He sometimes stats to enter in "Bluemode" where is attacks are far more worse. Be careful, and dodge roll. Don`t try to attack when he is in "Bluemode". After Riku has lost most of his HP, begins

 

Phase 3: Man! This is hard. Riku is now all the time in "Bluemode", so you must attack him, even that he`sattacksare harder to dodge. But worse is coming. Now he enters sometimes to "GodMode". Millions Copies of Riku are flying thruogh the battlefield, trying to hit you, and then comes some laserbeams. You must Glide all the time to avoid these easily. You can`t hit riku when he is in "GodMode" Just wait that he is again in "Bluemode". In the end he seems to enter "GodMode" all the time, which is frustrating, as you don`t get that much time to attack him. But, in the very end you should be victorius.

I actually beated him yesterday, so i give you some extra hints.

 

-GOOD abilitys: Second Chances, MP RAGES and HASTES. This way you never run out of MP. Blitz is good, as you can reduce pretty much HP from him with it.

 

-First, tell me what did you choose in the beginning "What weapon do you want to use, and what do you not want to".

 

-Olympia or Fairy Harp keychain should be used. Metal Chocobo is good, but it reduces some MP.

 

-When Riku enters to "GodMode" HEAL YOURSELF BEFORE he starts to do his moves. That gives you help. Jump & Glide at the same time he starts to do moves in GodMode. You shouldn`t be able to touch the ground, before GodMode ends.

 

-If nececcary, heal at once, if you have lost HP in GodMode. But Heal after GodMode have ended

 

-Lock on would be good. Lock on to him always after the GodMode have ended. That way you don`T waste time searching for him. You need all the time to attack him.

Hmm. IF you gived up Staff, your MP cant be too huge. Fairy harp gives you more MP, use it. Put accessories that maximise HP And DEF. Angel Bangle is very good. (If i remember correcly, it is synthesisable objeckt). Thar gives you huge HP & DEF Boost.

That fight is very easy use Just cura as your only spell avoid attacks with guard and glide oh and dodge roll if you do this its really easy trust me i own Ansem-Riku
