So far i got to the world that never was and the nightmars are kickin my ***!! both sora and riku are around level 35 on proud mode. I was wondering if there were any leveling up tricks (I.e Heartless swarm in kh2, RG megaflare trick on bbs, etc.)

You could use the EXP Walker trick (stick your analog nub to the right, and have Sora/Riku run in circles)

But honestly, good old fashioned grinding is probably your best bet: You can get some good items, AND some new Dream Eater abilities, which should help you out.

Don't forget that commands and general skill are important as well

Be sure to practice blocking!

good ol' fashioned grinding, I hear Symphony of Sorcery is a good place to lvl up.

Also, if u r getting ur butt kicked by the nightmares in TWTNW, then u are not ready for the Bosses of that world yet.

i honestly didnt know EXP walker was in DDD http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png so far my only dream eaters who got me all their abilities are Meowjesty and R R seal. i started Kab Kannon and Fruitz Cat, but so far the kittys failing me in terms of combat. im also hunting Brilliant Fantasys to finally make lord kyroo. Grinding is what i always do but "where" is the problem. considering im dying in TWTNW id assume i should be in Symphony of Sorcery. Also, i DO need to block a bit more. I, unfortuanately tend to stay on the offensive side

The best offense is a good defense, especially in this game, which does a LOT to punish offense.

And uhh... honestly you're a bit behind on abilities. I haven't finished Symphony of Sorcery yet, and I have quite a few more than that, and I've been largely neglecting my Dream Eaters

thats most likely true. Meowjesty had expensive abilities while R R seal had a gazillion of em. still though, i should have been abl to pull off more then that. Looks like ill need to grind dream eaters as well http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png

I got to that world at Lv38, but the best thing to do is just go to all previous worlds and go from point-to-point defeating every Nightmare

 

I would suggest you be at least Lv38 for Sora, but Lv45 for Riku.

So true. Beating the game with a level 24 Riku took a few frustrating hours during his nonstop chain of about 4 bosses at the end. Black coat nightmare, ansem, I had to beat time rewinding young xehanort about 30 times in one battle. When you kill him he retreats to his time machine and you have to kill that or he resets the battle, he has less hp though. Then ventus armor nightmare. Yeah, I didn't know about exp walker.

Focus on your abilities and your dream eaters commands. Meow jesty has curaga as one of his abilities which has saved my life on more then one occasion. And focusing your abilities on say magic and fire boosts can help you kill nightmare faster. My decks Firaga dark Firaga and curaga. And if you still can't, do some flick rush tournaments. You can get dark barrier and dark roll for Riku which help out a ton.
