Can anybody explains what is special portals how to start it or whatever ?

There are 6 special portals in every world except for TWTNW which only has 3. Only one special portal appears in every world at one time. So if you beat the special portal in let's say traverse town there won't be a special portal there until you drop to the next character but you can still find special portals in other world like the grid or country of the musketeers. Special portals will give you rare item unlike the normal link portal which give you common items. These items are most of the time ingredients to make dream eater, but for every link portal and special portal there is a challenge and if you complete this challenge you will get a second item which is usually dream eater food. And keep in mind that special portal have stronger dream eaters and are more challengeing than a normal link portal, which is why you are rewarded with a much rarer item. And heres a little tip, if you find a special portal that gives you the item that you really want and you want more of that item then you'll have to continually drop between characters until that portal you want to re challenge appears in the same spot. And rikuand sora have different special portals so some times only sora can find a certain item and the same gos for Riku. For example there are a few special portal in TWTNW and Symphony of Sorcery that give you an item called brilliant fantasy that is exclusively found in special portals with Riku in these worlds.if you have any questions let me know.
