I have no idea. There is no source saying it is possible, but the people above claim to have Dream Eaters that have raised ranks. Try asking them.

There is the possibility to have a star leveled Dream Eater but the only way this happened to me was from one of my AR Cards (My R&R seal with 5 health boosts =] ) However I have played KH: DDD fully 3 times AND NEVER had a dream eater raise in rank, im not saying its impossible but I doubt it highly. If it has happened I would like to see video proof. But my question is if ranks affect the dream eaters ability board cause I had two Meow Wow's (Rank B and a rank D) and each had a few differences. (Like one node on B was "Ability Haste" and D had a "Magic Haste" where the other boost was.)

I'm curious, what do the ranks entail? Does a Rank S just start your Dream Eater out with higher stats or...? Like, what's the point of trying to create a Rank S as opposed to just settling for a Rank B?

I am 99.99999% positive you can NOT increase dream eater ranks. I have deliberately made a rank F dream eater and fed it hundreds of pieces of food in stat increases to make up for the lost stats and got no such 'rank up'. I did this because of people here saying you can.

Okay, I did figure out that you couldn't up the rank after creation, but my main question is What does an S rank entail? Boosted stats? Higher affininity? Better abilities?

Higher ranks create a massive difference in stats. It is NOT negligible. Afaik (and I daresay I've put a lot of time in to all this) rank doesn't affect their affinity or abilities.

Holy crap that's a huge difference. When I play through on Critical Mode I'll have to remember that.

To be fair that is comparison between the highest and lowest ranks, but it stands to prove that the effort required to get an S-rank does have it's benefits.

Also, is there any way to have every ability in the game simultaneously? Instead of just the ones that are unlocked on a party member? (Magic Haste, Poison Block, Once More, EXP Boost, etc etc etc)

No.

 

Spirit and Support abilities are permanent however stat abilities are locked in to that DE and needs to be equipped. There is no party that provides all stat boosts. There is no 'optimum' set up. It is preference, and situational. There are 82 stat abilities, and 3 Dream Eaters can only cover 48 assuming that they had only stat abilities, and no duplicates, which is quite literally impossible.

Man, that sucks. I like being the ultimate warrior.

Sorry, love, but the Frootz cat I got from my AR card started at rank C and went up to Star level, same with my R & R seal and my Kab Kanon.

All AR cards except sudo, meowjesty and Ursa circus begin at star level, you would not have scanned them at C.

Yes.

I was almost positive it started as a C, of course it's not like I have proof otherwise. -shrug-

You could be confusing it with Sudo, meow and ursa. I believe they start at C.

 

You can test this in like 2 seconds.

 

Save your game. Release one of them, rescan it, note and reset.
