The circus has always been a wonderful place. Full of cheers,magic and laughter. So many skits,so many animals,so many tricks. A magical experience for people of all ages. Traveling all over the globe. There is one part of the circus though,that has always been special. One filled with fear,disgust,amazement.

THE FREAK SHOW

People would be attracted by the sayings of misformed creatures,monsters that could only appear in your nightmares. Unhuman beings that have been 'captured',born the way that they are. Unhuman,creatures of hell...people would pay money to see them,and of course,we showed them. Some would be scared,others would be amazed,many would have to be escused out of the tent to vomit their lunch...after we presented our show,we would pack up and leave until the next year or two. But not without bringing with us a couple of 'suveniers'.

Some of our bests shows are starting to grow old,so what we do is pretty simple. Whenever you children come to our circus. We watch you as you enjoy the show. Within the time,we choose a few of you,the 'chosen ones' if you preffer. When you leave the show,we slightly follow you~ When you fall asleep. We kidnap you~ If you get lost from your parents,wonder off,or even come alone by yourself...we'll make you ours. From that night on,you belong with us. You will be a part of our family,our shows,especially,our FREAK SHOW. If you already have a talent,fantastic,if you don't,it won't matter anyways.

We will fix you up ourselves.

Our special doctors will be more than happy to experiment on your bodies. To make you part of our show...to make you part of our family.

Carriges,trailers and cars rode down the road into a town. Music could be heard sounding from the big speakers that sorrounded the main carrige that leaded the way. People looked out of their homes and stopped what they were doing to stare as they passed by. Animals and a few people walking besides the carriges. "WELCOME EVERYONE,THE CIRCUS HAS ARRIVED! WE WILL BE PREFORMING TONIGHT AT 8! ATTEND OUR SPECTACULAR PREFORMANCE!" Flyers were being throwned out of the carriges into the streets for people to read about the show. In big letters the flyers said 'FREAK SHOW CIRCUS' with a drawing of their circus tent in its full bloom. Alexander who leaded the main carrige simply looked foward and a soft smile as they all passed through the town. Eventually they reached a clearing. It was big and spacy. This was perfect for them. The carrigers slowly started to organize themselves in a semi circular form and they all stopped. Alexander jumped off the carrge and patted the horses. He looked up and took out a golden cane that had laces and strings of different colors around it. "Alright everyone,lets get to work!"Alexander says,announcing that it was time to set things up for tonight's preformance. With that,he tapped down his cane,having all of the doors of the carriges,cars and trailers open,revealing the wonders,the staffs,the freaks.

Zander was in his carriage practicing his fire making shapes. Getting ready for his performance when his dragon he made out of fire was taken out by a water ball. Zander then made a flame rose and slowly floated it to Danielle and watching her he waited for the perfect moment for him to make it explode in her face hopefully scaring the living crap out of her. He laughed out loud from his carriage and stuck his tongue out at her waiting for her to peek her head out and probably flip him the bird or something. Zander smiled and realized he still needed his practice, he had to keep practicing his bit. He knew he could do it but he just so nervous. He hoped for the best and got ready for the show

"You got it." said Stampede. "A guard came out to the center, a guard Stampede specifically chose for his first demonstration. "Ok, please do not be alarmed by my performance, we are trained professionals....now, guard....take a swing at me." said Stampede. the guard threw a punch, but Stampede blocked it, though the arm he used to block it appeared as no more than a blur when it moved. "come on, stop trying to hit me and hit me." said Stampede. the guard threw more punches, but as before, Stampede's arms appeared as blurs when he blocked them. The guard was soon exhausted, whereas Stampede didn't even break a sweat. "What, that's all?" asked Stampede as he turned away. The guard picked up a metal pipe that was used only in Stampede's performance and snuck up behind him. "Now ya see me...." said Stampede as the guard swung the pipe, but Stamped ran out of the way and became a similar blur as he arms did. Stampede then ran up behind the guard, stopped running and drop-kicked him. "Now you're unconscious." said Stampede. The crowd applauded in amazement, Stampede turned to face the crowd. "It's not over yet." said Stampede as a boulder was pushed in. "Now, be amazed, as i use my strength to smash this boulder to pieces." said Stampede. Stampede started tapping the boulder in different spots to find the weak point and soon found it. "One pile of gavel, coming up." said Stampede as he punched the boulder. About 5 seconds after, the boulder cracked and fell to pieces. Stampede then picked up a slightly bigger piece. "Now, i know some of you may doubt that was a real boulder...but here, see for yourself." said Stampede as he gently threw the piece to a member of the audience (Azure or Azura) and waited for their reaction.

Danielle yelped when the rose exploded. She glared at Zander but couldn't stay mad. She laughed slightly and tried to practice her perfonance. She grabbed a bucket from her carriage and filled it with water from the faucet. She took it back outside and tried to form it into a flower around her, leaving a small pocket of air for her to breath. She made it float around close to the ground then started to open the flower up as if it was booming. She then made it float higher into the air. Forming it into a set of stairs, she started climbing down. Once on the ground, she put the water back into the bucket. 'Piece of cake.' she thought smiling.

The crowed stared in amazement. Azura and Azure couldn't bealive it,it was amazing! Azura extended her arms to catch the piece when Azure pushed her out of the way. He stood up and extended his arms. "I got it!"Azure says as he catched it. Then he realized that it was pretty heavy for being a small piece. He was only a boy after all. Azure lost balance and fell back to the back side of his seat. Azura laughed and pointed at him. Azure satted back up again and grunted as he pulled the piece onto his lap. He stared at it and knocked on it. "It's real alright..."Azure muttered as he dropped it off his lap and made a loud 'THUN',loud enough for everyone to hear. This made everyone mutter and stare. The boulder was real,his powerful streanght was truely real. Everyone started to clap and cheer in true amazement. Azure rubbed his shoulder as Azura kicked the piece slightly. "Wow. He's like,unhumanly strong."Azura says. "Well he IS unhuman to start..."Azure muttered as he looked upfront and clapped along with Azura. Alexander stared up with a slight smirk and looked back,seeing others getting ready for when it was their turn.

Riliane looked on in bewilderment. Surely it had to be fake. Everything like this was fake. But she was impressed with how they were able to make it look so real. Like the person smashing the boulder, that couldn't possibly be real. It was surely a fake boulder made to look real. What else could it be? And the fact that he was able to throw it so easily was rediculous. If it were real, it would be too heavy to throw that far into the crowd. She couldn't believe that so many people actually believed this stuff.

With Riliane thinking that this was all fake, she grew bored. "When's Mom gonna be back...?" she grumbled. She got out of her chair and decided to just walk around a little. Maybe she would find something interesting. Like proof that this was all a hoax.

"Thank you, thank you." said Stampede as he bowed to the crowd. Stampede then walked off, but before he did, he noticed the guard had come to and got up. So, just for a bit of a laugh, Stampede ran over to him and growled right in the guys face, the guard froze in place. Stampede then let out a roar that sounded like a tiger, lion, cheetah, rhino and eagle all in one, causing the guard to faint and the crowd to laugh. "Ha, and they say Cheetah's don't play fair." laughed Stampede as he walked off, he'd said that last line loud enough for the crowd to hear, hearing the laugh it got. Stampede walked past Jaws and fist bumped him. "Let me know an act before we're both up, got it?" asked Stampede. Jaws nodded and Stampede walked off.

Azure and Azura laughed along with the rest of the crowed. "Aw man these special effects are awesome. I wonder what did they used for that roar."Azure says. Azura laughed and stared as she wiped some tears from her eyes. "I don't know. But I am loving this place!"Azura says. Alexander stared back at Stampede as he walked off. Alexander walked foward slightly and stared down at the fainted guard. "Guess he couldn't take the surprise."Alexander says,getting a few chuckles. He waved his hand and some staff members came in and got the guard in a gourny. Taking him away to the doctors afterwards. Sure,the doctors were messed up,and they transformed human beings into the creatures they are today...but they were still doctors,right? Alexander smiled and saw as the staff members cleaned up the area for the next preformer. Alexander picked up a piece of the rubble and stared at it. "Next preformer will bright not only laughter to you all,but he will also send you chill and amazement down your spine."Alexander says as he closed his hand and opened it to show a butterfly instead of a pebble. The butterfly started to fly around. "Presenting our next preformer,Zephak,'The Mad Clown'. Enjoy,and say your prayers,everyone."Alexander says as he walked back inside and waved at the guards. "Let him go."

Riliane walked a little closer to the stage. Everything looked too real to be fake, but looked too fake to be real. She was annoyed, confused, and tired. She was tempted to just go home. But she knew if she did that, her mom would throw a fit. Still...

She walked out of the tent and contemplated leaving, when a few of the carriges caught her eye. They were obviously used for the circus members' travel, but something seemed...off. She walked over to where the big group of carriges was and started exploring.

Danielle was messing around with the water, making it do a bunch if random animals when she started hearing footsteps. She thought it was one of the guards so she quickly formed the water into a lion. When they stepped out from behind the carriage, she made the lion look as if it were going to eat them. She made it knock them down and snarl, without sound, in her face. Shortly after, she realized that she wasn't a guard. Danielle gasped and let the water collapse on the girl. She tried to compose herself and tried to look serious. "What do you think your doing back here?!" Danielle demanded. She took more water from the faucet and formed it into a tornado that lifted her up higher, making her look even more intimidating. Intimidation was hard when you had pink hair and cat ears. Danielle was scared, but tried nit to let it show. 'She needs to get out if here before Alexzander finds her. Or worse, Alexzander finds me talking to her.' "Well! You gonna answer me Girl!" Danielle yelled at her.

Zaphak gave a large grin, and strutted out into the main arena. Once in the direct center, he gave a bow to the audience. No words were needed. he immediately got to work. He shoved his hands skyward, and large columns of flame erupted from one hand, and ice from the other. He whipped them around, creating the glittering effect of ice, and some steam followed.

"Oh hoh hoh!" He laughed, delighted he had caught the crowds attention. He began to do some acrobatics, flipping around while shooting flames in every direction, he shot up in the air, propelled by his fire. As he fell, he created a thin tower of ice below him. Zaphak landed perfectly on the ice, not breaking it at all. With that, his part of the grand performance was over.

Skye was amazed at the circus, the first performance was amazing, he couldn't belief such monstrosities could even exist. But they did a good act, much to Skye's hidden delight. But the clown freaked him out. Yes, he was fast and acrobatic, not to mention his elemental abilities, but he just seemed....insane.

Azura and Azure stared in amazement with the rest of the crowed. Azura especially,was awestruck,she had forgotted all about her soda and popcorn and payed attention to the show. "That is amazing!!!"Azura says as she clapped. Azure was also impressed. But something freaked him out out of all of this. Something just seemed...off. "(What kind of circus is this...?!)"Azure thinks. He stared and looked around. Everyone was simply amazed and awestrucked by the preformances,and the circus had bearly started a few moments ago. Azure looked to his sister. "Sis,I don't know why,but if feel a ity bity uncomfortable about this circus."Azure says. Azura shushed Azure as she waved her hand at him and continued to watch the preformance. "Didn't you said you liked clowns? Well watch,he's simply amazing!"Azura says as she was smiling and clapped real loud with the rest of the crowed. She cheered and whistled. Azure stared and clapped as well. "(Still,that is a pretty freaky clown...)"Azure thinks as he just had a bad feeling at the pit of his stomach. Alexander watched and clapped as well. "Very good job,Zaphak. Jaws,get ready,you're up next."Alexander says as he tapped his cane and looked back at the audience. He looked around and his hidden eye didn't notice a specific person in the audience. "Hm...maybe she went to the bathroom?"Alexander wonders as he walked around a bit.

"Got it....you guys, bring the tank." Jaws said to a few guards. Jaws then walked out to center stage, but noticed the guards struggling with the water tank. "Oh brother." said Jaws as he walked over to the tank and lifted it up. As Jaws brought the tank to the center, he looked to the crowd. "For the record, Stampede could lift two of these things, filled with water, over his head." said Jaws as he set the tank down. The tank was see through, which was a good thing. Jaws then climbed up to the top of a diving board, saluted and fell off the board into the tank. "Now, i know what most of you are thinking....'Oh, a shark diving into a tank of water isn't anything new'....but as you've probably noticed, i am breathing and talking as i would above water....but that's not all i can do." said Jaws as he lept out of the tank. 3 guards then came to the stage, carrying iron beams and placed them on two piles of cinder blocks. "Ok people, don't try this at home." said Jaws. Jaws then struck the beams with his elbow and the beams broke in half, followed by the blocks crumbling. Jaws then picked up half of one of the beams and bit a piece of it off, spitting it out soon after. "Well, that's my iron for the day." said Jaws as he ended his performance and bowed to the crowd.

Riliane stood up and her eyes grew wide. "I-I-I-!!" she stammered. "I-I'm so s-sorry! I didn't mean to- I didn't know that-- I'm sorry!" She stood there wet and shivering. The shivering was more due to her nerves than the fact that she was drenched. She nervously wrung her blonde hair out and stared at the pink-haired girl, worrying about what she would to to her. And considering Riliane was now convinced that everything in the circus was in fact real, it made it even more terrifying.

"I didn't mean to come where I'm not supposed to be..." she said, trying to calm down a bit. "I-I was just wondering what was back here. I d-didn't mean to cause trouble... Sorry..." She tried to stop shivering, but her nerves were just too on edge when she was with anyone other than her family.

Kurai let a mad smile crawl across her face. "My turn." she told Alexander, zipping into the air, her eyes turning a magenta color. She flew right over Azura and Azure. Kurai landed in front of of the two. "I'm Kurai." she said with a laugh flying up to a wire. She stood on the thin wire, flipping around om her hands as the crowd gasped. She laughed, standing on two fingers, flapping her wings slightly flapping her wings. She flew up and shot down, barely catching herself. She sat the wire on fire, weaving around it dangerously close. She stood on her hands on the lit fire. Kurai smiled, not caring that her hands were burnt. Kurai flew across the rope, stopping the fire. She landed and bowed, happy that she did well.

Azure and Azura stared astonished. They were amazed. "W-Whoa!!!!"Azure says. "Kurai..."Azura muttered. Everyone applauded to her preformance. Azura stared and looked down slightly. She saw it was a black feather. She picked it up and stared at it,her hand started to tremble a bit. "Brother..."Azura says. Azure turned to her. Azura showed him the feather. "This feather is real."Azura says. Azure stared at the feather and then back at Kurai. "So...those wings...are real? No strings or jokes or smokes and mirrors?"Azure asks. Azura shook her head and stared with a bigg smile. "This circus is,amazing."Azura says. Azure stared at his sister and then looked back up with a strange stare. "To amazing...(What kind of circus is this? This doesn't make sense...where's the logic...?)"Azure thinks. Alexander stared and watched the preformances. He clapped smiling. He then turned to tell Daniel it was her turn,but she wasn't around the area. He looked around. "Danielle?"Alexander asks. He then remembered that she must be back at her trailer. Alexander hurried over to the trailer. "Danielle,it is your turn to prefo-"Alexander says when he stopped behind her. He saw a girl standing her,drenched. (Riliane) "(It seems Danielle had an encounter.)"Alexander thinks. His covered eye suddenly glew,which he covered it with his hand. He stared. "(She's the one missing.)"Alexander thinks. He smirked under his breath and looked up calmly. "It seems you have encountered our Water Controler young lady."Alexander says. He turned to Danielle and gave a sly smile. "Go Danielle,it's your turn for your preformance,bring Zander with you,he's after you. I'll be more than happy to take care of the girl...~"Alexander says as he turned back to the girl and walked over to her.

Riliane wrung the last of the water out of her hair as a man who looked about in his twenties walked towards her. She recognized him from earlier. He was the ringmaster of the circus.

As he came closer, Riliane got a little more nervous. Was she in trouble for being back there? And did she make that one girl late to perform?

"Y-You're the ringmaster, right?" Riliane asked. "I-I really am sorry about being back here. I was just curious, that's all. I didn't mean to cause any trouble or anything. I really am sorry." Her head lowered a little and her face got red.

Alexander smiled and gave a slight bow. "No worries my dear. No one is late for anything,what we have more than anything tonight is time."Alexander says. He looked up at Danielle and waved at her to go do her preformance. He turned back to the girl. "Why look at you,you're all drenched. She used her abilities on you didn't she? Lets see,I think I've got something around her."Alexander says as he searched through his pocket. He then took a bunch of colorful blankets out,to many to be able to fit in his pocket. But hey,it was a circus,everything went. He picked them all up together and seemed to smash them into his hands. He then flung it to demonstrate a large,multi-colored towel. He got it over the girl. "There we go. Much better. Come along. You can watch the Circus from backstage as you dry."Alexander says. He was really sweet whenever he wanted to be,hiding his true motives of course. He offered his hand and smiled. "Please,call me Alexander,may I know your name,young lady?"Alexander asks as he was trying to be polite,not to scare her off or anything.

Riliane smiled and took his hand. "M-My name's Riliane." she said. "I'm very pleased to meet you." She giggled, happy that not everyone in the circus was like the pink-haired girl who had immediately gone on the offensive.

Riliane clutched the towel around her and was feeling a lot less nervous. Alexander seemed like a very nice guy, so that made her smile. Still, the circus overall just felt...odd. She couldn't place the feeling, but it was something weird, and a bit frightening. She ignored it for now, though. Her birthday present was going better than she expected it would. What a story she would have for her mom when she got back to the circus. Though, it was getting late. Riliane's mom might just call her in a little while, saying that she needs to come home, instead of her mom coming back to the circus to get her. Either way worked for her though. She was enjoying herself, finally.

She kept walking with Alexander until they got backstage. Riliane saw all of the spectacular and odd people walking around, preparing to perform. "Alexander, this is amazing." she said and smiled at him, though on the inside, the people actually scared her a bit.

Stampede and Jaws were doing some backstage weight lifting to get prepared for their duo act. "Hey bro, whatcha benching?" asked Jaws. "Well, i didn't want to exhaust myself before our act, so i'm benching about 500, it could be less though." said Stampede. "Why did ya ask, what are you doing for a warmup?" asked Stampede. "Some underwater anvil smashes, ya know, the usual stuff." said Jaws. Stampede finished his workout, Jaws had finished his a minute before and they were both ready for their first run as a duo. Stampede and Jaws then saw Alexander walk in backstage with someone else. "Hey, who's the klid?" asked Jaws. "Wait, i think i saw that girl in the stands when i was on, what in blazes is she doing back here?" asked Stampede.

Alexander smiled at her comment. "Why thank you. But it is the preformers themselves that make this circus shine."Alexander says. He looked around. "When I was small,I wasn't exactly normal myself. I was usually bullied because of being strange. Having parents who didn't understand my pain made it worse. At the age of 10 I ran away form home and joined a circus to be able to have a home and eat. Seeing how everyone worked in harmony. So I decided to create my own circus. Gaining different allies and accomplices,all who enjoy to preform and demonstrate their unique abilities. I only chose those who were like me,who weren't 'normal'. That is one of the reasons this place is special...by will or not~"Alexander explains. Part of this was true,from his dark hidden past. It was a complicated one. He himself was not human,so why not collect unhuman friends along? Alexander turned to Stampede and gave a dark smile. "Why hello Stampede. This is Riliane. She had an encounter with Danielle and she got her all drenched,so I offered her to see how we do things here in the Circus."Alexander says as he turned and stared at the preformances. He smiled. "Riliane,this is Stampede,I imagene you saw his preformance."Alexander says smiling.

Riliane's eyes widened at the sight of Stampede. She didn't know what to think of him. She was frightened mostly, and slightly perplexed. How does someone get combined with animals? It seemed very odd to her, almost unreal.

She nervously gave him a little wave and said, "Hi, i-it's nice to meet you. And yes, I did see your performance, Stampede, and I was very impressed." She gave Stampede a kind smile that hid her fear, or at least she hoped it would.

All of a sudden, her phone vibrated in her pocket. She slightly jumped with surprise, then got it out of her pocket and answered it. "Hey, Mom." she said into the phone. Her mom said that she decided to just stay home instead of coming back to the circus, and asked Riliane if she would be fine on her own. "Yeah, I'll come home in a little while, okay? Alright. Bye, Mom. Love you too." She hung up and put the phone back in her pocket. "Sorry about that." she said to Alexander and Stampede. "She worries." Riliane laughed a little.

"I understand, it's good to have family...the only blood relative of mine here, is Jaws over there." said Stampede. Jaws looked over to the others and saluted. "Yo." said Jaws as he broke another anvil. "So, you were at the receiving end of Danielle's water powers huh? I don't like her powers much myself, being mostly jungle CAT, the only thing not feline about me is these horns coming out of my shoulders, these wolf teeth and these eagle eyes." said Stampede. Jaws then walked over. "Hey, at least your dna is animals that can be tamed, i'm a Great White, bro, everybody thinks i only eat meat...i eat fruit and vegetables to, that's right, i'm an omnivorous shark, and i don't eat humans, contrary to many beliefs, Great Whites only attack humans when it's a case of mistaken identity." said Jaws. Riliane giggled. This reminded her of the way she was when she was with her brother. "It's fine." she said and smiled at Stampede. "And yeah. I'm not too big of a fan of Danielle right now, either." she giggled.

She took another look around at everything, then turned back to Alexander. "Everything is really amazing. I'm extremely impressed." she said, then handed the towel back to him. "I'm all dry now. Here you go. Thanks. And it's getting a bit late and my mom is probably worrying about me, even though she just called me. I should probably go. But I really appreciate the hospitality. Would it be alright with you if I left, Alexander?" she asked, trying to be polite.

Alexander smiled as he took the towel and made it dissapear. He turned to her. "Oh but leaving already? The show hasn't finished yet even."Alexander says giving a sad impression. He then thought for a while. Even though the circus was almost over. He couldn't let his valuable little girl to get away,not with new additions waiting to happen. He smiled. "Please stay a little longer,I want to show you something first!"Alexander says. He looked up at Stampede with a familiar smirk. One that everyone in that circus knew. It was that one smirk that only spelled trouble. It was the same smirk that he usually gives when the people fall asleep on the operating table,whenever they're about to be deformed. Alexander slightly pushed Riliane slightly,insisting her to move foward to show her. "The Freaks of my show are born with their talent,but I have a secret for the others,my child..."Alexander says. He opened a carrige door and got her inside. "We create them~"Alexander says as he turned on the lights. The carrige showed to be an operating room. There was blood all over the floor and bloody tooks and gloves around. Alexander smirked darkly. "Please forgive the conditions...the doctors like to disect animals we find on the way..."Alexander says as the door closed shut behind him.

Riliane stared at the bloody mess in the carriage and started to feel sick. She couldn't stand the sight of blood, it made start to feel a bit woozy. But her mind was still able to piece a few obvious things together. Creating the freaks, dissecting animals. It was perfectly clear what this circus was doing.

Riliane stepped back a bit and had her back to the wall. She was too scared to move. She started breathing heavily and gasped out, "What...are you...gonna...?" She couldn't finish the sentence because her fear and light-headedness were messing with her head. She looked at Alexander with terror in her eyes.
