Anime Ideas - Naruto: Shinsei

Posted

If you though DragonBall was the only anime I can complain about....think thrice! Yes, I just thrice instead of twice because you have to that warry.

Anyways, just to clear something up, in case you didn't read the last Anime Idea....shinsei translates from Japanese to English as "rebirth". meaning this series (Naruto) and the last series I talked about (DragonBall) could use a serious overhaul. How does this apply to Naruto, you ask? An anime/manga series, mind you, that is currently one of the Big (Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach)? Well, I'll explain in detail for you....WITH BULLET POINTS!

  • Filler: Big issue here. For those of who are following the series even now, Naruto: Shippudden (I call it Naruto: Part II for obvious reasons) has dropped down in quality because of its constant filler gauge. Heck, they even mixed in canon material with filler, as I've heard...That need's to rectified. The series is bound to end, anyway. Why continue to make shit up? Plus, there's also the pointless stuff that went on in the first part, namely episodes 26, 98, 101-106, and 136-220....that can easily be redone. Here's what you need to do, Mashashi-san....finish Shippuden, finish the manga...take a break for a year or two...and redo Naruto from the magna, straight up. No filler, no nothing. However, if you have to change some things considering the plot holes in Part II...meh. You gotta do what you gotta do. That part's your decision.
  • Distribution: Now, compared to the problems of DragonBall. as I explained previously....there's not much to do here. Maybe the only thing I recommend is for Funimation's English dub....and that is buff up the script for Parts I and II a little. I mean, it's not like you're gonna show this on Cartoon Network again. (I already know that's not happening in the near future. http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png ) So yeah....the Japanese script is mature enough, just stick to them a little stricter.
  • OVAs / Movies: Yeah, same thing as DragonBall, just keep everything up to date....BUT...since this is Naruto, I also recommend making some new ones in the future, specifically centering arounf certain characters that don't get as much screen time now as they used to in Part 1, like Hinata or Neji or Ino or Choji. (This should help with the fact that people might complain about taking the filler out of Naruto's first part, considering they'll probably whine that "it provided character development" for the characters I descibed previously, as well as others. Personally, I don't believe in that claim, considering some of those episodes were more character bashing than development (IMO). I mean, how does making Shino laugh out randomly and dressing up Ino as a fat chick count as character development? That's silly. Just Saiyan.)
Well, this is pretty much all I can say. I hope that this can be given some thought on. I mean, I got ignored on the DBS (DragonBall Shinsei) idea...can I please get some feedback for this? Please? Please? Please? :(

Well, anyways....Kishimoto-san.....head this message. You'll thank me later.

The filler part of Naruto is what really drove me away from watching it. So they need to get rid of fillers, and I'm sure that Naruto will be a better anime.

Hmm, I couldn't see it all properly because it was all in yellow. Maybe it says;

There, now it's easier for everyone to see properly. Here's the edit I did, I took the whole thing, & turned the yellow stuff black.

And another thing, I thought it said;

Anime Ideas - Naruto: Sensei, because I didn't take a proper look.

Well, now it's brown.

Hmm......but Japan already rebroadcasted Naruto without filler.

Yeah, I know. I made a thread on that, too....but you see, I want this to be different. Not a rebroadcast, but a rebirth. Take the story and redo it in the most caring way possible: new animation (that's not ugly like Shippuden's, so I've heard...), new dubs for English release, with more mature dialouge (for the fans that stuck by the series since it released in '06, you know, like DBZ Kai), and more content that the fans want (see the OVAs / Movies bullet.) So yeah...this idea I hope can be a little different. Besides....I can't find Naruto: Shohen-En ANYWHERE. :(

You mean black.

Actually, I mean saddle brown.

No, you mean black. I know it's black, because I watched myself do it.

Um...it's a actual color, dude. It's the third one on the first row: Saddle Brown.

Cut out all of the fillers and just stick to what Kishimoto-san wrote and it'll be a lot better. I just pretend they don't exist when the anime goes into filler and start watching it again when it comes out of it. I don't understand how Kishi can let the animators do that. >_< And I see no plot holes.

I see no plot holes.

Really? You're, like, the only person I know that would say that about Naruto: Shippudden. Huh....

I understand what you're saying, but this is going to end up like DBZ and start being milked. Also, you don't need to watch Shohen-en when you can watch the original and just skip the filler(which is why the people who do subs dont sub it). lol

I actually watch the series with a cheat sheet that helps me sort through filler. But that's the thing: Online is the only way I can watch this anime because of that. DVDs? Nope. I'd have to buy it incomplete because of the filler. If my Shinsei idea could roll....it'd be the end-all of Naruto content. Just one more take through the series, and there we have it. No milking from there. Except for the OVAs...maybe....but one or two tops for the minors, and that'd be it.

SIDE NOTE: A new idea popped into my head.

Openings and Endings: This is really just out of consideration for the fans. What I'm grabbing at is that the Naruto fans in Japan choose from a list of the themes already used for Part 1 and Part 2, and have them be the initial Op/End songs. Part 1 has 9 Openings and 15 Endings, while Part 2 (currently) has 11 openings and 22 endings....so it'll be a big list to sort through....but again, I say....it is for the fans.

Now if I had it MY way, I'd definetly pick GO!!!, Haruka Kanata, and Re:Member as top ten picks for Openings, even if they were put into Part 2 canon. I don't really know for endings, since I personally focus more on openings.....but anyways, that's about all I can add to Naruto: Shinsei.

Actually I would say that, as well. Bleach has plot holes, I haven't seen any in Naruto or Naruto: Shippuden.
