Replaying the game, usually if I just watch cutscenes I'll be like wait why did they do that again? And I'll have to back track to before the scene, well I guess it depends on the game though ;p

Cutscenes can be confusing if you cont know the context of them. If its a good game i prefer to replay it and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment that follows the beginning of an in-game cutscene.

Time travel

replay unless the cutscenes are one from a game that tells you everything like in kingdom heart 2 you could watch only the cutscenes and have a pretty good idea of whats happening
