Kara walked on the sidewalk to the school, a new school. Psyche, the god of Souls had made this school. The teachers are practically fallen angels that fought in the Great Soul War five hundred years ago. Kara's blue shard lit up slightly as she entered the school, her walking causally to her class room. "Karasu Suzaku, come with me to the office!" the principal yelled from the door. The whole class laughed. Kara slowly got up and walked out of the room, and in three muinets, she was sitting in the principals office. "Kara! You are one of the chosen. Go along and make friends that were chosen by the Godess of Souls and go capture demons!" the principal yelled. Kara just nodded and walked back to her class.

I put my hand on my stomach feeling the large that was left there but the bandages leveled it out. "They haven't met my 'father' yet....." I thought to myself...

 

~Flashback~

 

I sat in the room looking out the window with one eye wondering, "Will I ever get out of here?" I remembered yesterday....and tried not to think about it and placed my hand on my hood were I hid my wolf ears, "I am I that different?"

And then I heard a knock on the door, "Zero!! Come out here!!"

I gave a soft, "Ok." And walked outside to see a bunch of adults but I picked up my favorite book, 'Lone Wolf'. Sat down and discided to read in the corner when a lady walked up to me and bent down to see me.

"What's your name?"

I took out my notepad and wrote, "Zero."

"That an interestining name. My name is Lily."

What? This person didn't think I was weird???

 

-time skip-

I was riding the car home with Lily, "What did they do to you?" She asked.

"Nothing....." I said softly as I looked at my bloody arms and blood stained shirt.

"Why won't you tell me?" She looked at me worried.

"Its nothing....."

"Ok if you say so but you know you can talk to me right?" I nodded giving a slight smile, Lily dropped me off at home and walked over to me and kissed my forehead. "I'll be home soon."

"Ok."

 

-Time skip-

I watched the tv, "A lady was hit by a drunken driver." My eyes went blank and liquid flowed out of my eyes I ran to my room and sat in my corner with my pillow and looked at my marble...

 

-time skip~

 

"You are going to live with the hoppkins family ok?"

I nodded as I looked at the dark house. Itried not to remember my first parent that adopted me and I walked up to the door to see a man and a women. "Welcome Zero." They said they seemed pretty nice to me....

 

-time skip-

 

Bottles were stabbed into me and knives were too I felt weak but I could get into my room. I could hardly see anything but I crawled under my bed....

I walked back in the school at some point and dropped Kira off at the doors and came back and sat in my seat to hear. "Class in 2 days we're going on a field trip to the beach!!" I thought in my head, 'Ughh the beach? Why not a hit spring?' But I heard a lot of kids going, "Wooo!! The beach!!" "Yay!!" But I wouldn't swim anyway since.....I clutched my stomach...

"Erika, where are we going?" I asked, slightly panicked because the sudden change in environment.

"We're going to the roof." I told Kara bluntly. My shadow disappeared from Kara and Erika. "They're evil souls, Kara!" I turned to the souls. "...And they called me a PIPSQUEAK!!" Ny shadow beamed to them, its teeth and jaws wide open.

"Joshua...Calm down please...." I said, weilding my sword.

"Hey do you guys need Techno?" I transmitted not paying attention in class, "And josh calm down....I know how much it means to you but.......oh yeah update on school we have a field trip." I transmitted.

"I'm about to call you something much worse." Erika muttered, pulling out her sword. "More evil souls? Let's just get this over with." She'd herself dreading 'soul-catching', almost so much that it seemed like a bore to her.

"....Whatever..." I grumbled to their comments on me. "A field trip? Sure, why not." My shadow, subconsciously, snatched one of the evil souls into the air and ate him. Surprised, I stared up at the shadow...it had a hunger of its own. I put my shadows to their normal form and brought out my other magic. I began to chain lightning across a few of them, before I sucked up the soul of which ny shadow ate.

(you guys want to do a time skip?)

"Ok." I transmitted but thought of the rumors that would spread if I talked to anyone....

(TIME SKIP AGREED)

(ok???)

I woke up in my bed surprised that I even slept without getting a bottle in my chest. And grabbed my bag and skateboarded to school I picked up my black skateboard ,with a white skull, as I arrived. And walked next to the buses.....

(this time skip would help with a shorter waiting time)

 

Kira woke up in the garden, slightly confused at first. Then she remembered what was happening today. She jumped up and grabbed a medium sized sketchbook from her dress pocket and ran full speed to the school. She wanted to fly, but was tired of all the whispering. She arrived soon, standing next to a bus. She felt someone yank a feather off of her wing, and it hurt. She spun around, glaring at a boy with a feather in his hand. He laughed. She snatched the feather out of his hand and spun back around. i hate the people in this school.. she thought.

I awoke and found myself scurrying towards the school. I traveled within the earth to get there quick. I boarded the bus and quickly went to the back seat. (Where are the others...? They better not sleep in.) I noticed a few kids from before were going to throw me out of the seat; I simply glared at them with the same expression as my shadow to ward them off. I continued waiting for everyone else....

I barely made it onto the bus with an overpacked bag to sit in the middle. "Hey look its shard girl" A boy mocked. I heald onto my necklace and sighed, clenching my fist.

I walked into the bus and saw Josh picked him up by his arm and glared at the people seeing their feared reactions. And transmitted, "You want to sit by the window? Beside they won't bother you as much..."

Kira boarded the bus and waved kindly to the driver(something I always do), who was clearly surprised by her wings. She sat in the middle of the bus, taking out a sketching pencil as she began drawing in her sketchbook. She watched other kids board, waiting quietly for, Kara and Erika.

"Uh...sure." I muttered, surprised he picked me up so suddenly. I looked out the window, full of thoughts. (Hades controlled me twice, sent two shinigamis, what's next?) I sighed.

I saw Kira and tapped on her shoulder and lead her to the very back of the bus which had room for about 6 people. And placed my bag on the seat Kara and the other girl were sitting in and patted the seat next to me indicating that Kira could sit there...

Kira startled when she felt Kyle tapping her shoulder, spinning around. She nodded and got up, walking to the seat and sitting down. "are you sure the beach is going to be that safe of a place? I mean, there's no where to hide but water. Usually..." she whispered to him quietly, making sure no one else could hear.

"I can't swim in the water because of...you....know..." I transmitted slightly clutching my stomach, "But I feel like something bad is going to happen...I can sense it...."

"Something always bad happens. Water is my personal favorite element though, I can fight better with it, so ill be in an area of comfort. As for you, Kyle, I can lift you with earth, air, or shadows if you want." I turned back to the window. "Will it be Hades? Or just an evil soul?"

"something bad always happens..." Kira sighed. She turned a couple pages, noticing her drawings were of events that have occurred. Seeing Margaret again, her battle with Hades, meeting Electro again, and finding out Zero was her long lost relative. "st-strange..." she whispered to herself. "so very strange..."

"Its fine...and call me Zero at school...." I transmitted glaring at the other people....

"Heh, sure I forgot already." I started to think of my shadow and its lust to always eat. (How dangerous can this be??)

Kira turned a page. She saw a drawing of her falling, and she immediately closed the book and rested her arms on her knees. "I miss Margaret..." she said, looking sadly at the floor.
