Kara walked on the sidewalk to the school, a new school. Psyche, the god of Souls had made this school. The teachers are practically fallen angels that fought in the Great Soul War five hundred years ago. Kara's blue shard lit up slightly as she entered the school, her walking causally to her class room. "Karasu Suzaku, come with me to the office!" the principal yelled from the door. The whole class laughed. Kara slowly got up and walked out of the room, and in three muinets, she was sitting in the principals office. "Kara! You are one of the chosen. Go along and make friends that were chosen by the Godess of Souls and go capture demons!" the principal yelled. Kara just nodded and walked back to her class.

The last of my memories played...my right eye opened to see Kira holding the marble. "No Kira stop!!! You can only use the marble once!!!" I yelled seeing Kara on the ground, she I probably thinking its her fault. My wings grew 2 more feathers as I walked over to her....clutching my wound and put my hand over her head, "Kara? I'm here I'm alive its me Kyle, now wake up Kara."

Kira held the marble, putting it back onto her pocket. She was so relieved. "I'm sorry... But you know I couldn't let you die again..." she said. She smiled. "I'm so happy you're ok!!" she yelled.

I was scarred, every part of me shakeing. " I'm alive, I'm here, Its me Kyle." I heard him say. My eyes flipped open and when I saw Kyle, alive standing in front of me I almost died. "It is you.." I said hugging him with a forced smile, the pain from me taking his pain away still hurting me.

"Kyle!" I was already on the verge of crying, and I even started to hug him in joy. (I couldn't....I couldn't live without another part of my family....) "Sometime soon Kyle...teach me black magic. I cant let you die, and I couldn't live without such a big part of my family."

"I told you I can't die right? Trust in me." I smiled.

Kira smiled. "sorry for making you sleep." she said, looking down. "I forgot what happened to you when you fall asleep..." she said. "but of course, it's all because of Hades..."

"Still, though...I need to be able to protect you all. I wont stand idle if anyone is in danger." Still, Kyle's words did relieve me quite a bit. Suddenly my crystal shook and glowed violently...three times! I could feel it...three loose souls. I felt a blazing essence, an icy silhouette, and a disturbance within the ground. "I sense souls...three of them..!"

"Don't worry about it even if it hurts its not like I can escape this fate." I smiled as Kara and Josh hugged me.

Kira looked at Josh. "what do you meen? I don't-" she stopped her sentence, feeling a slight disturbance. "okay, now I do..." she said. She grabbed a feather, a sword appearing in that hand. She put her hands behind her back, tapping the empty hand. A second sword appeared in the other hand. "come out!!" she yelled.

Erika looked down at her shard, her hand coming swiftly to it. It sent the oddest and most uncomfortable sensation up and down her spine, but it didn't hurt. "There's defininty three of them." I said, guessing by the three tremors I recieved. Erika looked around for something, seeing only a rope. A memory sparked in the back of her mind, and she picked it up.

"Hold on Kira! I...have a strategy. They each have a particular elemental essence on them. No one will attack the fire and ice ones. Only taunt, eventually, but not right away, trick the fire and ice ones into melting and freezing eachother....then we attack and collect the souls. As for the earth, he can throw boulders at us all he wants, but my air shields will let us float above earthquakes. We are each going to have to regularly attack the earth one. Kira, taunt ice, I got fire...Kyle you can hold off the earth for a few minutes. Erika, Kara help Kyle too. Got it?" I cast air shields on us all.

Kira nodded. She looked around to see if she could find the Ice Soul. "do you know... Where they are...?" she asked. She continued looking around cautiously.

"Ok." I said with a smile, placing my hand on the ground, ready to help.

"Right outside the house...I sense them. Be careful though the earth soul will try to dig us down with him id assume." I used the wind to glide out the window, and flew right past and around the fire soul. I even mildly splashed him.

"Ok." I tried to hide the wound that was left over from my death. And used my wolf tail and sensed where the earth spirit was, "Gale storm." I said as I drew three lines and a tornado came out of no where and blew up the earth soul, I took out Death Cannon and shot all the bullets and howls.

 

( howls are charged up blast its so annoying to say that over and over )

"Don't push yourself Kyle..." I said looking at his wound, not having the strength to really summon dark magic to help him, I had the magic in me, but was unsure If I should use it. I turned to see two other loose souls, one zipped past me faster then fire gets put out. I stabbed the loose soul's side, realising it easily with my sword. "One down two to go." I said looking at Josh as I held to the ground, my hands shaking.

(Which did you kill? I couldn't tell )

 

"Well, not so much with the plan, but as long as we get these souls we're fine." I set up traps of air and boiling water around the area, and searched for the remaining two souls.

I glanced at the ice soul, and fired a wave of boiling water towards it conveting to water. I set a fire near it, evaporating the water, leaving only the soul behind. My shard absorbed it. "Last one, now." I glided upwards dodging the earth soul's earthquake.

I looked up as Josh attacked the earth soul, he wouldn't make it. I let out my sword and jumped up, dashing over and stabbing the earth souls back realizing only half of the soul before I dropped to my knees from the shock of getting two souls in a period of three muinets.

"Kara!" Using earthly magic, I controlled the earth soul itself, smashing and crushing it until its other soul half came out. Seeing as how, it damaged Kara, I left the soul floating there. "Are you alright Kara?" I started healing her. "Kyle, maybe you should get this one." I said, continuing to mend Kara.

"I dont know, I healed Kyle, using my forbidden light spell, and then I captured that soul, you know how hard it is to capture them." I said looking at the ground, my vision becoming blurry. "Josh, If I pass out, I will be fine, don't worry, Thank you though." I said as the darkness caved in around me. I put my hand on his shoulder and smiled as I blacked out. "Oh no! Kara are you okay!?" I heard Ayumi yell as she ran up to me, helping Josh heal me, then picking me up and motioned Kyle to fallow her into the house. Ayumi placed me on the sleeping bag, as she healed me in her blue healing magic Psyche gave her.

Erika saw the soul just floating there, vurnerable but not for long. Time to see how bad absorbing a soul is. She thought grimly. She ran up to it, her shard reacting and abosrbing the soul. Erika immediately fell onto her knees, her breath stuck in her throat. You're fine, Erika, you're fine. She chanted over and over. It was just the shock of the whole thing, it sent tiny, piercing, cold shivers over her body. Take a deep breath. Commanded that one part of her mind that was reasonable. Taking in a shaky breath, she realized she could stand, and walked over to Josh and Kara. "Is she going to be alright?" she said, finding her voice.

I followed slowly trying to take it easy but it was hard to with the left over wound that no one could really heal except Skull but he was low on magic too. "Sorry I wasn't able to do anything...."

"Don't worry about her, she will be okay..." Ayumi said looking down at Kara, stopping her healing. "Kyle, would you like me to use my dark magic to help you?" she asked, looking at his wound. "Erika, are you also going to be okay? Good job by the way." she said with a smile.

I was walking on a river to see Psyche. "Kara, you arrived finally, could you give me the souls?" she asked. I nodded just as the souls flew out of my shard, and into a book. "One more soul for my book, thank you Kara." Psyche said as she vanished.
