Our story begins in New York City, the year 2985, half of the state is covered in advanced technology, the other half has been reclaimed by nature and abandoned by those of the city, our story begins when the war has reached it's peak, and the entire military will not seek peace with the creatures.

"me." Kota said, landing on the ground. "but I have a question. How do we train?" she asked.

"Ok then." I wrote and looked at Kira. "Do you still want a wind shield?" I asked.

"no thanks." Kira said. She turned to Maelstrom. "can we go now?" she asked.

nano sighed and stood outside of the castle." might as well train now since we ahve nothing to do in the first place" she said walking in.her eyes darted over to a fire ball coming at her.she stepped to the side and ducked." nice shot but it isn't a human so don't go aiming at me" she yelled walking towards the stairs to the rooms.she smiled then slightly bowed." i'll be in my room if i'm needed" she said walking upstairs.

I waved bye at nano as she left, and I felt a urge to train. I remember when I was young she said she would fight demons to train...

"Well, we have an air, land and sea unit, we all fight as one, now, we also have archers who fight on dragonback, now, the air units train in the sky realm tower over there." said Maelstrom. "Our sea units are like pirates, they take care of resources.....land is just infantry, but for the sea units, training is like piracy." said Maelstrom.

"I bet I'd be better off in the Air Unit. I'm used to fighting in the air." Kira said. She looked ahead. "all the other units I would be terrible at." she said.

"Could help the sea unit if you want." Drawing an apple on a scroll and then one appeared in my hand showing them my drawing ability. "But I want to train as well..... "

nano ran in to her room and locked the door." i wonder what they are doing now" she said looking out the window.nano let her tail come out hiding and curl up then unroll over and over again.

"Well then, Kira, you'll be under the tutelage of Draco, I should've mentioned he was a trainer as well, Wolf boy, our "pirate" leader is out on a resource collecting mission, you'll train under him when he gets back, but both of you will be training under me for ground combat, everyone has to know how to fight on all fronts." said Maelstrom.

Kira nodded. "okay." she said, looking at Maelstrom. "where'd he go?" she asked. She wrapped her wings around her, feeling a slight chill.

I nodded surprised I understood that and heard a large sound of lighting out side that sounded like a large tiger roar. 'That roar......Gekigami!!! Is here!!!' I thought as I wagged my tail.

"Well, Draco should be returning from the council chambers soon......oh, bit of a heads up for ya, don't ask about Draco's father, ya see, Draco's father was killed 140 years ago, his dragon mother is the only parent he has left, it also didn't help that his wife was hunted down and killed 100 years ago, just imagine being the single father of 50, I don't know how he does it." said Maelstrom.

"I feel sorry for him..." Kira said, looking down sadly and kicking a few rocks. "I don't have any parents...." she said, a year rolling down her cheek.

"Bummer, but, everyone here supports one another, and a lot of us share that pain, a lot of us are on our own, but we stick by each other through thick and thin, it's proven because some races here hated each other in the past, but now you have demons who are friends with angels here....it takes some getting used to though." said Maelstrom.

Kira anime sweat dropped. "d-demons...?" she stuttered, looking around. "everything around here is either freaky, or wierd..." she said.

"Meh, don't worry, the demons are actually nice guys, and so is Nessie, we shipped her here all the way from Loch Ness, she was getting tired of being hunted, so yeah, she's a great asset to the rebels, and she's a nice gal." said Maelstrom. Just then, a gorgen flew over the castle, he was thrown from the area with the lake. "To nice people that is." said Maelstrom as the gorgen landed in an open pit.

Kira covered her mouth. "I don't want to meet her." she said. Her eyes were wide at the sight of the Gorgen. "so.... She throws people when there not nice? That's.... Not what we do..." she said, reffering to the other angels in the sky.

I stared at the thunder as I listened to Maelstorm,'There are demons here?! Hopefully their not the ones from nippon...' I thought.

"Well, it's either that, or she just doesn't like gorgens, cause she only seems to throw gorgens........oh, hey, there's Draco now." said Maelstrom, gesturing to the top of the castle.

 

"LOCH NESS MONSTER CANNONBALL!" shouted Draco. Draco then swung on the rope hanging from the castle roof, Nessie was above water at this point. Draco then let go of the rope, landed on Nessie's head, slid down her neck and hack down to her tail. Nessie launched Draco into the air, Draco did a few corkscrews, curled up mid-air and landed in the water. A few other creatures and half-breeds were in the water at the time and Nessie completely got out of the lake. Nessie then turned around, jumped into the air and landed in the water. "TIDAL WAVE!" shouted Draco. Everyone that was in the water were launched onto tree branches or to the top of the trees and everyone on the opposite side of the lake got drenched, the odd thing was, no one was freaked, they were all laughing their heads off. "That was the best one yet Nessie!" called Draco.

I turned around and walked with them, "Sorry Gekigami I'll see you soon." I said as I saw the pool a huge monster and Draco and someother people, I looked at the water thinking about Nuregami. And the fact that wolfs aren't the best swimmers, when I felt something push my back and tried to get me in the water. But I had my water tablet on so I was standing on the water, "I don't think I told them that I can walk on water....and swim in lava." I thought as I stood there.

Kira let her wings fall. "what the...." she whispered, staring at all of the people in the trees. "was that.... A joke...." she whispered. She couldn't beleive what just happened.

Felphore walked up beside Kira. "No, it wasn't a joke, everyone enjoys a break from building weapons and training, Nessie loves helping us surf, unfortunately, none of them had their boards." said Felphore.

 

A dragon landed near everyone who was soaked, and started using its warm breath to dry everyone off. "Thanks my boy." said Draco.

 

"Oh, Kira, in case your wondering, that's one of Draco's 50 kids, all of his kids are dragons....40 daughters and 10 sons I what he's got." said Felphore.

"that mustve... hurt..." Kira said. she looked at he dragon that was drying everyone off, then back at Felphore.

I walked back hoping that they would forget what they just saw....
