Well, can I have a reason why? Why shouldn't she be able to weild a Keyblade? Hasn't she been playing Princess enough as it is?

 

She may be a Sue sure, but she DID fight the Heartless at TWTNW in KH2, And she did a good job too.

 

But now that Yen Sid mentioned that it's time for her training to begin, everyone has to go on every topic saying she doesn't deserve the title?

 

She got the ability to wield a Keyblade by mistakenly touching Aqua's when being attacked by Unversed. She didn't even know she was a Princess of Light, but Aqua could sense her heart being pure light.

 

Now, to the main topic.

 

Why? Hasn't she played Princess long enough? Isn't it time for the Sweet little girl to fight back?

I think if anyone was to be seen as an extra or spare it'd be Roxas, given the scene between Sora and (illusion of) Roxas, and then Riku and DiZ it basically implies (though still might never happen) he'll become his own self, I want to see Roxas and Lea fight side by side backing up the guardians (cause even though it mighten happen at the start I think Terra will join the guardians and a version of Terranort ripped from the timeline will still fight him). Even though I want KH3, I saw an interesting Kingdom hearts thing called KH: Path of Hope, which is based on the princesses, i think it'd be a neat side game to see Kairi evolve and grow (but I don't think side games will be released til after the bigger installment based on Nomura's interviews).

Lea is seen as the 'extra' bc he definitely exists currently . But technically since they are hinting of both Roxas and Xions return there will be several extras in the future .

Lea just getting his keyblade doesnt rule him out since MX said the lights will be picked naturally meaning if one is gone another will be chosen as a replacement .Also I do agree that actually no one can say for sure who the 7 lights will end up being . Even Nomura said they won't be who we think they will be .( that we will be surprised ).

 

i didn't mean it like that i ment it as that he dosn't have that much experiance with it, than again neither dose kairi but she dose have more than he dose, well he did fight more but not with a keyblade, anyway, like i said before from how i see it i think there is only three gurdians for sure untill the others are rescued and such, just have to wait for KH3 to find out, man thats gonna be a long time -__-

I think Lea will just stand in if needed til all 7 are gathered, but I think he'll play a pivotal role in rescuing aqua since he said that "dark rescue" is his middle name

He has had 10 plus years of fighting ... That doesnt matter anyways because they both will be trained .They can train endlessly with Merlin in that hyperbolic time chamber

Well I'm not a crazy fangirl to worship Kairi too much, but if she proves to be a decent keyblade Wielder, I wouldn't mind at all. We had Aqua in BbS, so as long as they make Kairi a strong fighter, it would be kinda of cool.

 

But I hope the Lights are the ones that appear in KH3D intro (Ven's Trio, Sora, Riku, Roxas and Mickey)

I seriously want to see Kairi beat some Heartless, Nobodies, Dark figures, and whatnot into the ground in the next KH game....we only see her use her Keyblade once and she's just kinda swinging it....not like an awesome battle....derp. Hopefully she'll kick butt like Aqua and perhaps give a slight challenge for Sora and Riku She'll be a super cool Princess of Light Keyblade Wielder who knocks the socks off of anyone/thing in her path! Move aside Sora and Riku, a new Keyblader is about ready to join your epic trio!
