Download Youtube videos and music DIRECTLY to your PSP

Posted

That's right. No computer. Two great sites that helped me. Oh, and did I mention it's legal? Now your PSP is not just some useless thing that plays games and goes on the internet. I will do music first.

Music:

1) Power your PSP. Make sure your battery is good.

2) Go on your internet browser.

3) Type in, www.kohit.net

4) Type in a song in the search box (Don't search lyrics). You may need to use the artist name if you can't find your song (i.e. for Chop Suey, if you don't find it, type the artists name, which would be System of the Dawn)

5)Click the song

6) Now put your cursor over the song that says Download Now

7) Press Triangle...

8) Go to File, and select "Save Link Target"

9) Edit the title if you want

10) Click Save, let it download, and there you go

Now there are some that may be broken or corrupted. You will tell if it downloads in a second. So you will need to delete it and download another link.

Youtube Videos:

1) Power your PSP. Make sure your battery is good.

2) Go on your internet browser.

3) Type in, www.pspube.com

4) Scroll down and click CLICK HERE TO START SEARCHING

5) Now you will get an advance search, make sure Youtube ONLY is there (because Google will mess it up), Genre, Sort by, Duration can be whatever.

6) When you find the video you want, click the thumbnail

7) At the top, it will say to download vLoader. Just click it and download it. Don't worry

8) Then click Download options, and when it says, "Do you want to run the plugin embedded in this page?", click Yes

9) Double click the first one (lo-res). Because sometimes hi-res won't work for some videos. And they are generally the same thing. You can try hi-res but I don't recommand it.

10) NOW here is where you need to watch out. For file name, change 3gp to mp4, OR IT WON'T WORK! And you can make a title for it, so change video to something else if you want. Save and let it download and watch it anytime in the Video

EDIT!!! Hi-Res is better if you want a big, clear, awesome quality video. But they take longer to download and they take up more space. Don't download videos that aren't really about quality. For example, Yugioh Abridged episodes. They have an acceptable quality and they won't take up too much space unless they are like 10 minutes, but still not a lot unless you have hi-res. Now only that, some won't work with hi-res, so you may need to download low-res. If the videos have really crappy quality with low-res, then switch to hi-res. Otherwise, you're good.

Have fun with this, as you can do this many times, as long as you have space for your memory to store it. I believe it takes around 1-5MBs. It's not that big really. Videos are. And remember, it's legal so don't worry about pirating or anything. Because you're not doing anything bad.

Well for PSPube.com, it isn't. And what if theses site work but still give you a virus (not that they will but let's say hypothetically). PSP is going to be better. Besides, it's better than bring a MP3 or an Ipod when you can have the PSP with music, YT videos AND still play game.

Yeah, so much better than DS. Just that they don't have that many good games :(
