Is it possible by defeating Ventus's heartless (Vanitas) in Birth by Sleep that it now developed it own being and is no longer part of Ventus, kinda of how like Ansem and Xemnas are no longer part of Xehanort. Anways my theory is that if they revive Ventus's nobody (aka Roxas) then Vanitas can take it over and become the thirteenth vessell.

Vanitas is not Ventus's heartless(he is pure darkness extracted from Ventus's heart)and Roxas is Sora's nobody with Ventus's heart.

But Vanitas could be one of the 13 vessells.I don't know if he is thirteenth but I think he is one of them.

He confirmed this eons ago ..Why do you think Roxas can dual wield at the end of Days ? He was wielding Soras keyblade and after Xion died it awakened the ability to wield Vens ..When Roxas returned to Sora in KH2 Sora could then tap into his inner ability to dual wield through his drive forms .
