Did you check to see if the UMD was damaged? Something similar happened to my copy of BBSFM (infinite loop, right after the MF fight. Ugh.)

Yeah. my umd was perfactly fine. and it was a new copy too that i just opened about a month ago

Might be a problem with your PSP. It could be having trouble reading it...

I've never actually heard of this.

It might be your PSP, though. Is your BBS copy damaged, or scratched?

Could be the game..........or the PSP.

Try cleaning the laser lens that could be stopping your psp form reading the disc properly.

Where is that? Oh, and my ps3 is only a month old. i bought it so i could play bbs

Not sure what it is. To be sure that the disc isn't the problem, try hacking your PSP and putting an ISO of BBS on the memory stick. If the cutscenes still skip, then it's something wrong with your PSP.

Acctaully now that your mentioning memory cards. my memory card is less than a gig. so maybe does it not have enough memory to run them or something?

I don't think it has to do with your memory stick's capacity. If you don't have install data, I recommend trying whatever install data you can fit on your memory stick. If they still refuse to load, then get a bigger memory stick (4GB Lexar 15$ @ Target) and proceed to hack it and get the ISO for the game.

Well that is defenetely an error of your PSP, try to find someone who can fix it.. ( Or if you can fix it, just do)
