~*In a fortress located far north*~

"So do you know who is playing the NightRunners game?!" Elise asked with a smile. "Can you tell us?" Pastel asked, looking at Nike. "Yes, I can tell you. Elsie, I have a special job for you...you will need to deliver these letters." Nike said, sliding several letters down the table the three girls were sitting at. "You chose them well this time Nike..." Estella said. "One of them will win, but first they must live..." Nike said with a smile, Elise, Pastel and Estalla ran out of the room, letters in hand

"Ah, school is such a pain..." I said grimly, putting my hands behind my head, looking to the sunset. "God, it's that late already?" I asked with a sigh.

"Because your one who will understand others..." Nike sighed, pointing straight at Josh.

I was teleported on top of a tree next to the lake. 'Choosen huh?....'

I arrived at the lake, staring at the gods. What happened?

Lulu was just simply walking through the forest obbserving the darkness. She was a tad bit scared but excited at the same time. And that's when suddenly...

"Ompff!" She fell face flat to the ground as a wish of air flew past her. Lulu looked up to realize she was near a lake, "So I guess.....I'm never going to get out of this....."

One second I was waiting for the cryptic girls response and the next i was at the lake in front of a boy and a girl. I was surrounded by many others and they kept calling us Nightrunners. As strange as this whole situation was I had nothing else to do so i went with it. Looking at the other humans around I did not feel threatened at all they all looked pretty average, but for them to be there with me they had to be special in some way. Now the fun really begins.

"You will all be assigned a quest...The quest is to kill each other. You barely know each other, yes. But Do this...and YOU WILL BE REWARDED GOD OF EXISTENCE!!" Ares announced. "Thus, in this quest there are rules. ONE: YOU CAN ONLY FIGHT AT NIGHT. TWO: YOU MAY NOT BREAK RULES THREE: ONE MUST LIVE, ONLY ONE!" Nike yelled at us 'nightrunners'

(IS LIKE DAH HUNGER GAMES UP IN HERE. xD)

Startled by what was just said I simply left, looking for shelter...seemingly. I knew where I was taking shelter, but I didn't want people to know so quickly.

Kyou ran into the woods, making a sharp turn after another, then climbing as high up as she could up a tree. Taking deep breaths, she looked down toward the ground.

Ehhh dying? ........so I was right all along......I have to die to get my adventure........

Lulu got up and pat the dirt off her shorts, "Wait....."

She looked at the mystery figures, "What about you?"

I sat in my tree, "Kill people?" People try to kill me not I try to kill people...

I was startled and in aww of what I had heard, but I had no choice. Reflecting on what I saw earlier my oppenents did not look too tough so I had hope of winning with my former experience in karate, and war tactics. People said that it was a stupid class to take, but look who is stupid now. Hopefully this will give the edge i need to win. I ran into the forest to find a safe location to hide out in.
