Birth by Sleep trio's armors...

Posted

By this point in the series, all of them had lost their armors through one way or another.

Terra's is currently in the same position it's been for ten years somewhere in the keyblade graveyard.

Aqua's is lying in Radiant Garden in the chamber Xemnas created for it.

Ventus's appears to have been destroyed at the end of KH:3D.

My question is: Does this have any special meaning at all?

Maybe there's some hidden meaning behind making them all lose their armor, like showing how they're shedding their old lives and starting new ones after being changed by Xehanort, a Birth by Sleep. Or maybe they're just going to get new armors by punching their shoulders. What do you guys think?

Terra's currently contains his Spirit, so I wouldn't say that he lost it.

Aqua's is lying in Radiant Gardens in a chamber that nobody knows how to get into except the Norts. That'll do no good for now.

Ventus' disappeared off of Sora, but it's not confirmed if it was destroyed or not. It could have easily gone back to where it came from, Ventus's heart. Riku may have beaten the Nightmare out of it, but it could have been destroyed.

It could be symbolic, but I'm not sure about Terra.

I think you may be looking a little too deep into this . Most likely it means nothing. Also, none of their armor is technically lost for good per se . Even Vens. We don't know what actually happened to it after the fight.

The armor is used to protect them from the darkness of the Lanes Between right? It has the same use as they lost them, allow me to explain:

-Terra - When MX tried to posses Terra, he summoned his armor to protect him against MX (who at this point does represent Terra's darkness?) And it worked, to an extent. Some of his existence IS in the KG.

- Aqua - She "threw" her armor away to protect Terranort from "dieing?" in the RoD. (look where it got us...)

-Ven - He called it to protect Sora from falling into eternal sleep.

But honestly, I think it has a real connection to their heart. Ven probably can call his back when he wakes up. Aqua lost hers, that's why she is walking around regularly in the RoD. Why not put it on, like at the beginning of the final bosses? Its supposed to protect the against darkness? Good think Ven and Terra's keyblade kept her going right? :D

Terra's is sort of symbolic of trying to regain himself. A redemption sort of thing. which is why he is possessing it, it's his last tie to his old life.

Aqua's is symbolic of sacrifing herself for her friends (thats why the norts have it)

Ventus' is symbolic of his desire to protect everyone important to him, which would be why it covered Sora. It just couldn't do it's job.

These are my thoughts at least.

Well if you're going for symbolic, consider this

Terra & Armor: lost, but easily found, (hint look for the thing that's trying to kill you)

Aqua & Armor: Lost, not entirely sure where they are, but can't be too hard to find

Ventus & Armor: Combined with Sora, and helping save him from the Darkness

That being said, I don't think it's symbolic, and one can draw paralles all over this series because it has a fair bit of redundency, friends being driven apart, trinities, secrets, etc.

Highly.......doubt it.

So um... quick question. How did Ven's armor get into the dream relam in the first place?
