(I'm not sure where to post this, so I thought this would be the best place.)

I have been wonder for awhile how a human (or Somebody's) life worked. If a Somebody were to be killed by a keyblade, a Heartless and Nobody would then be created. If then both the Heartless and Nobody were destroyed, the Somebody would come back. Couldn't this be an endless cycle?

no, like with MX now that he is back after his nobody and heartless were killed, once his somebody, MX is killed again he is gone forever

Not if someone was killed in any other way .You only form a nobody and heartless if you lose your heart . Not just bc you died . So yes you can die .Theres a difference in losing your heart and actually killing them with a keyblade.

So you can only be turned into a Heartless and Nobody one time, and then that's it?

NO its never been said.

Egoraptor, is that you?

The difference is the intention MX and Sora used the keyblade to intentionally release their hearts. Meaning that defeating them with the same keyblade can kill them, however like Flaming Lea said it only splits them if their heart is realeased.

So you can only be turned into a Heartless and Nobody one time, and then that's it?

I always thought about that...you could like endlessly keep coming back. But then, that is sort of Xehanort's plot with his 13 members and all...

So if someone were to die by a keyblade, they may just think, eh, I probably be back in a couple years.? (If they were to know that they could come back)

Did you even read what I wrote? It depends . You can die but not become a heartless and nobody .It depends on how the keyblade is used on you .IF its used to make you lose your heart , then you make a nobody and heartless. If not , then you just die ..It depends on how its used .

NO its never been said.

yes that has been said, Xehanort got turned into a heartless and nobody, sora destroyed both, and now xehanort is back, and in KH3 xehanort is going to be killed, and that is the end of the Xehanort Saga, they said that which means once we kill him in KH3, he is gone forever

No if you stab somebody with the intent of realeasing their heart that is what will happen. At the same time if you stab someone with the intent to kill you can kill them.

Example in these to scenes Xehanort and Sora used the keyblade to release hearts using a stabbing motion.

In this scene MX also uses the same stabbing motion only this time the intent was to kill. Eraqus would have died had he not sought refuge in Terra.

It is the intent in which the keyblade is used that makes the difference.

What do you mean "it depends on how the keyblade is used"? You can choose as to whether you want them to lose their heart or not? Why wouldn't the keyblade wielder always make their enemies die?

NO its never been said if someone can be turned into a heartless and nobody more than once . Killing Xehanort does/doesnt equivalate turning him into a heartless and nobody . You can just freaking kill someone period . Read the rest of my posts on this thread ...Theres a difference between killing someone and them losing their heart.

@devereauxr,

Alright, this makes sense. But now the question I have is, why would you want to release the enemys' heart rather than kill them?

Meaning , Xehanort used the keyblade to stab the apprentices so they would lose their heart . But if you used the keyblade to cause death and not just to seperate their hearts they would DIE .

MX and Sora are the only two people that we know of who used that method, MX used it to prepare his thirteen vessels while Sora used it to release Kiari's heart.

Lose your hearts and die are not the same thing.

If you kill a somebody, he/she dies for good. But if you release a somebodys heart he becomes a heartless. So you can die just the way you know xD. but if you lose your heart, its not death :)
