— Xigbar and Saix appeared as members of Organisation XIII. Did they return as humans like Lea and the others?

 

Nomura: The conditions of becoming a human have been met, so you’d think they had returned, wouldn’t you? For them to have been with Xehanort and the others, perhaps they were collected after they had become humans and before Lea and the others woke up. You could say the same for the members of Organisation XIII that didn’t appear in this title, however… I’d rather everyone use their imaginations.

This got me thinking. Perhaps other Organization XIII members are Seekers of Darkness?

 

Luxord and Marluxia appear the most likelist.

 

Luxord survived longer in Kingdom Hearts II than even Xigbar. When you think about when Sora arrives in The World That Never Was at the end of Kingdom Hearts II the remaining members of Organization XIII are Xigbar, Luxord, Saix and of course Xemnas. Xemnas, Isa & Braig are Seekers of Darkness. There's a good chance Luxord is also one.

 

Marluxia appeared to be highly regarded in Organization XIII since Xemnas gave her Castle Oblivion. And it's clear he was holded in higher regard than everyone else at Castle Oblivion.

Correction:

 

Sora defeated Vexen. Axel finished Vexen.

Riku defeated Zexion. Riku Replica drained Zexion under Axel's orders.

 

Zexion withdrew from a fight he couldn't win, and Vexen's battle was interrupted by Axel. So they are incomplete battles, and can't be treated like the others.

That's a good point about other Organization members being Seekers of Darkness. I'm not sure if Luxord had enough influence over the Organization to be ranked so high, though. The only correlation I can find with the ones we do know of is that both Xigbar and Saix played major roles in Organization XIII. In this sense I do believe Marluxia would be a likely candidate. Vexen would've been another, though I'm not too sure he's willing to support Xemnas again.

Sora & Riku successfully deplete all of their HP. And Vexen and Zexion are shown hurt and wouldn't be able to continue fighting in their current state.

 

Their hurting a lot more than what Lexaeus was after his fight with Riku. As Riku only defeated Lexaeus in a cutscene when the darkness fills him.

That's just a game mechanic. Riku was definitely capable of defeating Zexion, but he didn't. And Sora probably could have beat Vexen, it's hard to tell since Axel didn't as much fight himas end him.

Excluding Roxas, none of the members with X in their rank has reappeared. It's probably a coincidence, BUT IT STILL GETS ME.
