Kingdom Hearts: A Legacy of Memories

Posted

I've often thought of how best to express my feelings towards Kingdom Hearts. I've thought about it a lot, and I think this is the best way that I can put it into words. But before I say what I want to say, I'll tell you how I got my very first Kingdom Hearts game. It was 6 years ago, and I had gone to Sam's with Mom, and Mom told me to pick any video game I wanted. So I looked everywhere until I happened to stumble upon a game that had Mickey, Donald and Goofy on the cover. It had gotten me curious and I asked the clerk about the game. She told me that the game was called Kingdom Hearts 2, and she told me about how it was a story of good versus evil, with many different characters and awesome villains. After I heard the clerk's explanation, I decided hands down that I needed this game, and Mom bought it for me. It was the best purchase ever, and once I played the game, I got obsessed. So yeah, Kingdom Hearts 2 was the first Kingdom Hearts game I had played in my life, and if it wasn't for Kingdom Hearts, I wouldn't know what Final Fantasy is today. Since then, I've collected every Kingdom Hearts game in existence, except for the Final Mixes of courses, but I will get them! :D

So then, now I want to express how I feel about this incredible video game series, and how much it means to me. This video game series has helped me realize just how much friendship is worth, and how powerful it is to believe in yourself and to trust others. With love and strength and willpower, you can overcome any obstacle that faces you. Thanks to this video game series, I learned that not everything is what it seems to be, and that everything has deep meaning if we reach out to it. It has also taught me the value of being a determined person, ready to stand my ground against any darkness. I also thank the Kingdom Hearts series for some of the best things that have happened to me in my life. By loving Kingdom Hearts, I found this website and met my dear Ami (who is now named Inori in this site.), who is the girl of my dreams and my dearly beloved girlfriend and everything I could ever hope for and more. I thank God for meeting her, and I thank the Kingdom Hearts series for meeting her too. Here I also met many of my best friends, and I got a Kingdom Hearts backpack and notebooks for my final school year! Some people may say that video games are crap or that they're a waste of time, but that's not true, and Kingdom Hearts proves it. Kingdom Hearts teaches you about friendship, trust and love, and it's a game that has brought so many people together! Kingdom Hearts will forever be my favorite video game series of all time, and I will always have a spot in my heart for it. So yes, I will cosplay, I will get Keyblades or make them, I will quote Kingdom Hearts quotes, and when I'm old, I'll tell my grandchildren what a badass I am with these games, and I'll surprise them by playing and beating them in front of their very eyes! That's how much Kingdom Hearts means to me! :D

See parents that question video games, we are taught things

This was a really sweet post. I think you should send it to Square/Nomura in a letter. I bet it'll make him cry.
