Captains Log: Day 14

It is the brick of a new day. We have been sailing for over two weeks now. With any luck, we should be coming close to our destination of the Sea Temple. Although, the skies have been nice and the water has been clear, which means sooner or later there will be something bad that will happen, thinking it could be a hard sea storm, I wish I could just get out of here. But I am starting to really enjoy this crew, and really hope that they can make it out alive. Though, I feel as if this is not everyone who was destined for the power of greatness. I will reported back soon

The air was nice and crisped on the waves of the shores. The sun was shining with a warm temperature in its path. The sky was peaceful and partly cloudy. All in all, it was a pretty nice day to be on the ocean in a pirate ship. Nick walked out of his cabin and walked on the dock. He noticed it was a beauty of a day and noticed that the boat was still running its course with magic. He then spotted Allison watching the waves. He walked over to her and smiled, "Yet another beautiful day, isn't it?" Allison then smiled as she looked at Nick. "Yes, it is nice out today. So how much further do you think it is til we reach the Sea Temple?" Allison asked. "Not too far, we should be in the bermuda triangle soon enough." Nick said. "Thats good." Allison replied.

"Well you can be one of the strongest who has ever lived. But that is only if you train, which we will start once the time is right. And what did I just say about having a girlfriend making you less focus on your training?" Quintus said.

"Oh, yeah right, sorry." He said unconvincingly. "Are we near one of them yet? I hate to say this if only to not jynx us, but nothing interesting has happened for a while." He said continuing with Quintus.

Just as soon as Balthasar said that, Allison and Nick came out of the jungle part of the island to where they were. "Oh there you are Balthasar. Have you seen anyone else?" Nick asked. "And more importantly, who is this guy?" Allison asked looking at Quintus. Quintus took his top hat off and bowed standing up, "Names Quintus. Pleasure to make you." Quintus said putting his hat back on.

Since Nessa was used to magic, she had some control on how she landed. "Not enough to put near anyone though." She muttered, looking around the shore. "Well, this island can't be too big." She wandered around for a while, until she heard voices. She immediatly recognized Allison, Nick, and Balthasar's, but there was a fourth one that was unfamilar. "Hey, its Nessa." She joined them after she heard Quintus introduce himself. Oh, another arrival.

 

Lyra watched the group from a fair distance. She narrowed her eyes. Who were they, how did they get here, and more importantly, when would they leave? There were too many to attack right now, so she would just watch. I hid from the Darkness this long, they aren't going to catch me now.

Matt ended up on the shore line of the island, he could tell by the sand. "Great, anyone else know where we are......hello?" asked Matt when he didn't hear a reply. "Don't tell me, we got separated, great, like it's not hard enough finding my way around." Matt said to himself as he started walking along the shore.

Night appeared on the top of a tree. He looked down and almost puked. "Oh, man, I hate heights..." he moaned. He spread his dragon wings and flew down. "Good thing I have these." He looked around. "HELLO!" he called, "NESSA, NICK, ALLISON, MATT, THAT GUY WHO'S NAME BEGINS WITH A "B," FENRIS!" Fenris heard the yelling and immediately started walking in the other direction. "Loud idiot," he muttered.

Balthasar heard some of the voices called out, and he crossed his arms.

"Couldn't use your magic thing to move us closer to each other, huh?" Balthasar asked gesturing at the magic spear.

He glanced around his surroundings, trying to figure out where the voices were.

"Well uh, do we go to look for them now?" He suggested to the group, putting his arms down.

"Okay, so we have about three people still missing. I guess we could find them. I think the blind one is on the shore and Night is in the forest." Nick said.

Matt continued walking along the shore, until he heard that high pitch clicking again. "Ok, what's with this strange....." Matt started until he noticed that the clicking made it as though he could see again. "The sound, bouncing off of everything, and the sounds of the wind and wave, It's like, i can see again." said Matt. "Hey, is anyone out there?!" called Matt.

Balthasar looked around. "I think we're closer to the forest, lets get Matt, and then we can get the guy on the shore last, when we leave. Lets go." He said gesturing to everyone towards the forest.

(Matt is on the shore, Night is in the forest.)

 

Nick and the gang walked into the forest until they reached where they could see Night. "Night, we are over here. Do you have to yell so loud?" Nick asked. Quintus looked over at Balthasar, "Remember, watch yourself cause at any moment you could create magic." Quintus said in a low tone.

"Really?" Night asked excitedly, "Sweet." He put his hand up to the air. "Fire!" he shouted.

"I don't think he was talking to you, Night." Nessa sighed. "And it's not as simple as that." she muttered quietly. She turned to Balthasar and Quintus. "If you'd like, I could teach you a little about magic."

Balthasar shrugged. "I'm kinda new to this magic thing. All I know is apparently, I'm the son of Kronos, the Titan who controls time. Quietus over here told me I can freeze and accelerate molecules within a certain area which gives the illusion of me controlling time. But I have no idea how to use it, I'm still a little skeptical about me being the son of a titan." He said, putting his hands in his pockets.

"Hey guys, is anyone near where i am, if you are, shout, if you're not, don't do anything." called Matt. Matt thought that if they shouted towards him, the sound would allow him to find them, but that was just a theory.

Soon a random guy in a mask appeared behind Matt. "We are right here." the man said in the exact voice that Nick has.

"Well, it's about time you showed up, what took ya so long?" asked Matt.

"Long story, so shall we go?" the man using Nick's voice asked.

"Hmm, first, a question, where were we heading before we ended up on this island?" asked Matt, wanting to be sure it was who this guy claimed to be, Matt was blind, but cunning.

"I told you, we are going to the Sea Temple. I called my back up pirates and they have already came with a ship that is much stronger than the one we were on. Now the others are waiting on the ship, so can we please go?" the man asked still using Nick's voice.

"Well then, let's go." said Matt. Matt was still a little suspicious of this "Nick", luckily he had brought his fan with him, he was normally the fist victim of a mugging being blind, so he always carried it with him. "Where are the others?" asked Matt.

"I just said, they are already on the ship." 'Nick' said walking with Matt. They eventually reached a huge boat. The boat was complete night colors and looked like it could hold up against anything. "Okay, come along now." 'Nick' said as he walked on to the ship hoping that Matt would be able to follow.

Matt continued walking towards the ship and that high pitched clicking, which Matt now though was a kind of sonar, was giving him a mental image of the ship. 'Man, that thing looks tough, well, at least this guy probably can't hear that clicking.' thought Matt.

Balthasar was walking through the Forest, calling out to the people he was searching for.

"Night! Fenris! Guys! Anyone?" He said strolling down the forest. "Hurry up! I wanna start my training, or better yet, check out that sea temple. Who knows what's in there?" He said to whoever heard him.

"Tell me something Matt, why do you seem different? Is it because your powers are awakening?" 'Nick' asked.
