Captains Log: Day 14

It is the brick of a new day. We have been sailing for over two weeks now. With any luck, we should be coming close to our destination of the Sea Temple. Although, the skies have been nice and the water has been clear, which means sooner or later there will be something bad that will happen, thinking it could be a hard sea storm, I wish I could just get out of here. But I am starting to really enjoy this crew, and really hope that they can make it out alive. Though, I feel as if this is not everyone who was destined for the power of greatness. I will reported back soon

The air was nice and crisped on the waves of the shores. The sun was shining with a warm temperature in its path. The sky was peaceful and partly cloudy. All in all, it was a pretty nice day to be on the ocean in a pirate ship. Nick walked out of his cabin and walked on the dock. He noticed it was a beauty of a day and noticed that the boat was still running its course with magic. He then spotted Allison watching the waves. He walked over to her and smiled, "Yet another beautiful day, isn't it?" Allison then smiled as she looked at Nick. "Yes, it is nice out today. So how much further do you think it is til we reach the Sea Temple?" Allison asked. "Not too far, we should be in the bermuda triangle soon enough." Nick said. "Thats good." Allison replied.

"How did you figure that out.....who are you really?" asked Matt. Matt's sonar started giving him a mental image of the man claiming to be Nick. "Because i don't remember pirates ever wearing masks." said Matt as he started reaching for his fan in a holster on his side.

"Don't bother, the fan you seek is no longer with you." the man said. The man then used dark magic to throw Matt and tie him up in steel chains on the pillar. The boat then lifted its rail and started to back away. "I love my job. HEY GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! MATT IS IN TROUBLE!!!!!!!! YOU'D BETTER COME QUICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the man shouted out.

 

The real Nick heard the yelling. "Guys, lets go. We never leave a fellow member behind!" Nick said as he and Allison started to run to where the yelling was coming from.

Balthasar ran along with the others to the shore, where he saw the man.

"I'm guessing he's not a friend of yours?" He said to Allison and Nick, glaring at the man and figuring out his next move to get Matt out of danger.

Matt just stood there, tied up. "Well, i guess it's not the first guy to underestimate a blind man, but even i have to admit it was a smart plan to catch me, but......this guy's an even bigger idiot that the last one." Matt said quietly. Matt then remembered that the guy who had him tied up took his fan. "If there's one thing you should never do, it's take my fan." said Matt. Matt then took a deep breath and let out a deafening shriek, which was just his sonar made audible.

The man remained unaffected by Matt's shriek. He then held out a knife in his right hand. "QUIT YOU!" the man commanded Matt.

 

Nick looked at Balthasar, "Correct."

Matt stopped the shrieking, but that wasn't the end of it, the wind seemed to be picking up as well. "Ok, this is odd, even for the bermuda triangle, what's with this weird wind?" asked Matt, not knowing it was him manipulating it.

Nessa covered her ears. "What is Matt?! My ears are ringing." she muttered. Nessa looked up at the boat, spotting Matt. She mumbled a few words under her breath, and began gradually loosening the chains around Matt. Remeber to foucs. She blinked bits of sand out of her eyes as the wind picked up. Thats not me, and Balthasar seemed more in control of time and space. Who's doing it then?

The man laughed. "Yes, feed that energy!!! Give your powers the ultimate incontrol!!!!! Your powers of the shriek and the wind are some of the best I have seen. You will make a fine member of my crew!!!!! Oh, and Nessa, long time no see!" the man said.

Nessa narrowed her eyes, still working with the chains. "What do you mean? Who are you?" She called back to the man on the ship.

"I don't know who you think you are, but i am nobody's puppet." said Matt as his rage increased. As Matt's rage increased, the wind grew even stronger and a tornado started forming on the water near the ship. "Uh, ya might wanna work faster on that chain there." said Matt when he noticed the tornado, still not knowing it was him, but curious as to what this imposter said. "And what to you mean powers of the wind, i know about that shriek now but, what power of the wind?" asked Matt.

"Don't you see that tornado over there? You really are blind." the man said looking at Matt. The man then turned at looked at Nessa and Allison. "Why, I am nothing more than a blast from the past." the man said. He then took off his helmet to reveal his appearance. The guy had long straight red hair, red eyes, and had that look of hate. "Its been a long time my dears since well you tried to kill me." the man said laughing.

Night caught up and looked at the guy. "Who's that?" he asked.

 

Fenris heard the yelling and ran towards it. 'Sounds like trouble,' he thought.

"Aw Matt, you really don't remember your villain? Now that just break my heart. Boo hoo, boo hoo, boo hoo!" The man said faking tears and then looking serious.

"Who are you, really, tell me now or I'll....." said Matt, hoping to sound threatening.

At last, the chains slipped off of Matt. "Finally!" Nessa mumbled. She took a careful look at the man. He seemed vaguely familar, but she couldn't quite remember. "Matt, get off and lets go!" She yelled, spotting the hurricane nervously.

Quickly, the boat moved farther away from shore and the water under it became red and brown. "Not so fast. This guy is not going to leave. I, the true Matt, can only have one of the name in the game!!!!!!!!!!!!" the man said as he blasted a huge chain belt at Matt.

(Sorry I haven't been replying for a while, but this is a perfect time for me to come in haha)

 

Balthasar, who had been standby idly by while the scene took place, decided to jump in front of Matt to protect him. Before the chain belt made contact with him, Blathasar flung his arms up to brace for impact and....

Nothing happened.

He put his arms down to reveal that everything around him had stopped. Off in the distance he could see palm trees still swaying back and forth, but the general vincinity, and everyone in it, seemed to lay in silence.

"Did I do this?" He asked himself, stepping out to the side of the chain belt. He contemplated his next move.

"Can I control this yet?" He asked himself. "Ugh, of course not. Which means I have no control over how long this will keep everyone frozen. I wonder if...."

Balthasar backed away towards the strange man, and then faced all of his friends with his back to the mysterious enemy, taking in a deep breath. Then concentrating, he waved his hands at them, as they unfroze.

"Phew, just what I wanted." He said relieved. "Even the chain belt is still frozen along with this guy. But our luck won't last for long I barely know how I was able to do this, and I don't know how long this will last I suggest we leave while we still can." He said gesturing everyone away from the man.

Matt was now considering how to get off the ship, but soon remembered something. "Oh, right." said Matt as he ran over near the guy that tried to capture him a second time and found his fan nearby. "I'll take that." said Matt as he grabbed his fan and started running towards the edge of the ship. "Time to see if this control of the wind thing really works." said Matt as he jumped of the edge of the ship. Matt braced himself for impact of the water, but he stopped a few inches above it. The ship was quite big, so Matt thought the others would think he just jumped off and drowned.

Nessa blinked a little, looking around. "Well, looks like you have some control over your powers." The one true Matt...? Wait a minute... Nessa felt the color drain from her face. "Night, Alison, thats Jarry's brother, the one that tried to kill us!"

Night's eyes grew wide. He started powering up. "It's you...I should have known a shotgun couldn't kill a vampire," he said. "NOW I'LL KILL YOU!" Night instantly leaped up and tried to land a punch on Matt. Meanwhile, Fenris arrived. "What'd I miss?" he asked.

Balthasar blonked

 

(What?)

Balthasar blinked. "Whoa whoa whoa, there's vampires now? Does everything exist now? Are aliens going to exist now too?" He said jokingly, yet also very frustrated at the fact that he was a non believer for such a log time only to find out not only were these kind of things real, but that he was also one of them, the unique beings. And now, he couldn't tell what was fake and was was real anymore.

Fenris nodded. "Yes, we're all freaks," he said, "It's not by choice, but we're like this anyway. I myself am an artifically made werewolf."

Matt was getting board of just being a few inches off the surface of the water, so he flew back up to the deck. "Awesome, I can fly, this'll take some getting used to though, especially trying to get around without hitting anything sharp, but with my sonar, it should work." said Matt.
