Captains Log: Day 14

It is the brick of a new day. We have been sailing for over two weeks now. With any luck, we should be coming close to our destination of the Sea Temple. Although, the skies have been nice and the water has been clear, which means sooner or later there will be something bad that will happen, thinking it could be a hard sea storm, I wish I could just get out of here. But I am starting to really enjoy this crew, and really hope that they can make it out alive. Though, I feel as if this is not everyone who was destined for the power of greatness. I will reported back soon

The air was nice and crisped on the waves of the shores. The sun was shining with a warm temperature in its path. The sky was peaceful and partly cloudy. All in all, it was a pretty nice day to be on the ocean in a pirate ship. Nick walked out of his cabin and walked on the dock. He noticed it was a beauty of a day and noticed that the boat was still running its course with magic. He then spotted Allison watching the waves. He walked over to her and smiled, "Yet another beautiful day, isn't it?" Allison then smiled as she looked at Nick. "Yes, it is nice out today. So how much further do you think it is til we reach the Sea Temple?" Allison asked. "Not too far, we should be in the bermuda triangle soon enough." Nick said. "Thats good." Allison replied.

When Night went in to attack, Matt remained frozen and took the hit.

Balthasar turned to the others. "If he's a vampire, can't a stake through the heart or sunlight or a cross kill him or something?" He asked trying to end this conflict. "I don't think a dumb vampire should be too much for all of us to handle right guys?" He said, beginning to get a bit cocky after using part of his powers for the first time, even though he did it involuntarily and out of luck.

Nessa glared at her enemy Matt on the ship. "Probably something you should know about him. He tried to kill me, and succeeded. Thanks to Night, I'm still alive." She looked back to the jungle trees. "If you're going to put a stake through his heart, please let me do it."

It seemed their were many things that their group of friends had experienced without him, and more and more Balthasar felt like the third wheel, as if he could never truly be as good of a friend they were to each other. In fact, he felt that he could never have that close of a bond with anyone.

"Oh, I see..." He said referring to Nessa's comment about Night. He awaited for someone, anyone to make a move soon.

"And that guy got me to break up with my boyfriend, and I still don't feel the same since the break up." Allison said in a depressed tone.

Blind Matt was still in mid air, when he got a crazy idea. "Guys, are any of you afraid of heights?" asked blind Matt.

Balthasar got a bit uneasy. He'd always been afraid of heights, but he never knew why. Perhaps it was the tension between Zeus, the god of the sky and the one who had defeated Kronos, his supposed father. But either way, he'd always had been afraid to be in high places, and the way Matt asked that had made him jitter a bit.

"Why, what are you gonna do?" He asked, slowly backing away.

 

(not to be naggy, but is there anyway we could move the story along?)

Night growled. "Come on, fight me," he said, unleashing another flurry of punches and kicks. Fenris raised his gun, but hesitated to shoot. "Hold still, Idiot," he said to Night, "I can't get a clear shot with you moving all over the place."

Matt still remained frozen like a statue.

 

Allison looked at Balthasar."Don't worry, I'll hold your hand to make you comfortable." Allison told him reaching out her hand.

Balthasar began to blush.

"Oh, we'll uh, if you think that's best." He said easing his way over to Allison and grabbing her hand.

 

Because Blathasar had no control over his powers, how long his molecular immobilization powers would last was at the time uncertain. But especially with a strong being, it wouldn't be long, and his power over the frozen man was slowly starting to wear off.

"Ok guys, hold on to your hats." said Matt as he summoned a page gust of wind to lift everyone up to where he was. "Ok, one trip to shore coming up." said Matt. "I just hope this works." said Matt through gritted teeth, hoping no one would hear him.

Allison was holding Balthasar's hand when they were lifted up. Quintus just rolled his eyes, 'This boy is nothing like his father.' he thought in his head.

Balthasar saw Matt come their way.

"Wait, what's going-" And with that he was lifted into the air with Allison. He was flailing his arms into the air, twisting and turning with fear.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I hate heights!!!!" Balthasar yelled as he was flung about by his own doing.

 

As soon as he was lifted into the air, his magic on Matt had worn off, and he was unfrozen again.

Allison touched Balthasar's face with her open hand. "Hey, relax. Its okay, I am right here. Just focus on me." Allison told him trying to get him to calm down.

 

But for whatever reason, Matt remained frozen solid like he was lifeless.

Balthasar looked to Allison, and was slowly starting to calm down.

"So, are you happy to be in your natural habitat in the sky, I mean you being an angel and all..." He said grinning widelya at the pun he made.

 

(lol I've never done a character like this before this'll be fun X) )

Nessa looked at Matt curiously from above, as heights had never bothered her. He was still frozen, yet Balthasar's magic had worn off. She gently raised her hand and tried to get a feel for the area around him. There was a still a presence of magic, but it might've been what was left from Balthasar. "Interesting." she whispered.

Allison blushed but quickly looked in despair. "No, actually I am a mermaid, so I don't really get much air. But I do appreciate the comment, but it doesn't change how I am still hurting from my break up with my previous boyfriend." Allison told him.

Balthasar looked away. "Oh, I'm sorry..." He hadn't thought about asking what had happened to her in the first place, and felt bad trying to flirt with her.

Then he looked back to her. "What happened to make you guys leave each other?" He asked politely.

"He lived up to his name and became an untamable beast. He turned unstable and wasn't the way he was to begin with. So, I had to lock him up and just leave him behind the bars. But I guess it was for the best, cause maybe my true love is still out there, for I just can't be with the big bad wolf. But perhaps all guys aren't bad, if they are sweet enough." Allison said.

Matt started slowly flying to shore, mainly because he didn't want to lose his concentration and drop the others. 'Note to self, when i get to shore, ask Nick what the heck is going on here.' thought Matt. Matt soon landed on the shore while lightly lowering everyone to the shore. "Hmm, i honestly didn't think that would work." said Matt.

"Well it pays to have a clear mind. That is the key to almost everything." Nick said straightening his hat.

"Well, I guess practicing martial arts and being blind, my mind is as clear as it gets, though I hope a strong wind like that doesn't happen again." said Matt.

(What's going on anymore? It's like 3 seperate things are happening at once)

(I think Matt should unfreeze now so as to continue the plot, or they go to the sea temple or something)

(Yeah, there's almost no point in this fight. And there are two matts, and it's confusing me, or else I would post more of whatever)
