Captains Log: Day 14

It is the brick of a new day. We have been sailing for over two weeks now. With any luck, we should be coming close to our destination of the Sea Temple. Although, the skies have been nice and the water has been clear, which means sooner or later there will be something bad that will happen, thinking it could be a hard sea storm, I wish I could just get out of here. But I am starting to really enjoy this crew, and really hope that they can make it out alive. Though, I feel as if this is not everyone who was destined for the power of greatness. I will reported back soon

The air was nice and crisped on the waves of the shores. The sun was shining with a warm temperature in its path. The sky was peaceful and partly cloudy. All in all, it was a pretty nice day to be on the ocean in a pirate ship. Nick walked out of his cabin and walked on the dock. He noticed it was a beauty of a day and noticed that the boat was still running its course with magic. He then spotted Allison watching the waves. He walked over to her and smiled, "Yet another beautiful day, isn't it?" Allison then smiled as she looked at Nick. "Yes, it is nice out today. So how much further do you think it is til we reach the Sea Temple?" Allison asked. "Not too far, we should be in the bermuda triangle soon enough." Nick said. "Thats good." Allison replied.

(Well my Matt was here first. And I have a plan just roll with me. And I gave you two hints 'lifeless' and 'statue' when it came to my Matt.)

Balthasar looked to Allison, smiled, then looked down to the ground, suddenly less afraid.

He wondered what he would be doing about now, had he not ended up on that ship. Would he be walking to another town? Getting into a bar fight? Would he even still be alive with the way he treated himself?

Either way, the truth was that he was here, experiencing things he hadn't even dreamed about for a while. And he was glad to have friends now, even if they were closer to each other than to him.

"So uh Matt." He said, still trying to stay calm. "You sure you know where you're going? No offense, but to be honest with you I feel a little uneasy having to be in the sky, let alone with a blind guy leading the way."

"What, ya don't trust me, i have a built in sonar now, i know where i'm going, believe me, and besides, if you find anything in a braile type writing here, you're gonna need someone who can read it, plus, i'm armed, and my sonar can help me find any danger, oh, and if ya see me taking in a deep breath, cover your ears, it's a killer." said Matt.

Night continued to beat the living crap out of Ebil Matt, but was starting to get tired. *Huff* *Puff* "B-bring it on!" At that point, Fenris let off a volley of machine gun fire at Ebil Matt.

Suddenly, a huge blast came over the island to where everyone was. It sent the heroes back on course with a repaired verison of Nick's ship, which was now far away from the island. "That should buy us some time now." Nick said straightening his hat and steering the ship. Allison looked around, "You mean you did that? How in the world did we get back on the ship, and how is it repaired?" Allison asked. "Well, I didn't, but I had Quintus do it. He said he was going under ship in the basement. The rest of you have been knocked out because the blast it took to overcome the ship's repair and teleport everyone on board." Nick said.

 

(Basically the ship is repaired and everyone is back on it far away from the island now. That is the only thing I could think of to get back to the main story.)

(How about Ebil Matt falling over?)

 

"Aw, come on, I almost had him," Night complained, still out of breath. "No you didn't," Fenris said.

Evil Matt appeared in a stone wall room. "Hmh, so those things aren't dead yet. At least I was able to make them mistake a statue me for the real thing. I think I might have to just call up my girl now, too bad she is in London taking care of a mission." Evil Matt said. He then walked over to a computer and started pulling up secret information only for their eyes only.

Balthasar sat on the ground, as the wind had been knocked out of him a little.

"I don't think I'll ever get used to this." He said half laughing half panting.

He stood up again and peered out the window.

"At least we don't have to deal with that vampire dude right?" He said, glancing out the window to make sure he wasn't somehow following them. "I wonder what it's like to be a vampire though. Must be weird." He said, shivering.

"Well don't worry about that guy, he is pure evil, even if he is the brother of Jarry. But I feel like for now we are safe, but he will be back sooner than later. But, I have to say thanks for trying to help us, specially me." Allison said to Balthasar.

"Hey guys, might I suggest we start moving, cause I don't want to be around when senior psychopath comes out of that frozen state." said Matt. "Cause I think I've seen enough action for the day."

Balthasar couldn't help but blush at Allison's comment.

Then he had snapped out of it and cleared his throat as Matt had spoken.

"Yeah, did I mention I'm not ok with vampires either? Or anything that wants to eat humans for that matter..." He scratched his head contemplating what would happen if the evil Matt found them again, and how furious he may be due to the fact that Balthasar had frozen him.

Then he looked to Quintus. "Oh yeah, are we gonna start on that training soon? To be honest freezing Matt was pure luck, I was just afraid and threw my hands up, and well, he froze."

Quintus smiled. "That was lesson one. I said, all you have to do is let yourself want something and then let yourself have it." Quintus said.

"Hmm, that actually makes sense, and trust me, if something as confusing as that is used as a lesson in training, and i understand it, it'll work, you wouldn't believe how many confusing metaphors my masters used." said Matt.

"It is what I learned from my master, and even Balthasar's father knew that, but he lost control of it and so he was defeated by Zeus." Quintus said with a smile of proudness.

"Hmm, I never knew that, by the way, out of everything that's happened, why was I given control of the wind and a sonar, the only guy I've seen with a sonar like power was that comic book guy named Daredevil, that was before I was blinded." said Matt.

"You being blind has much to it. Think of yourself like a bat. A bat is blind, but it can see because of its sonar ability." Quintus said.

"Hmm, I guess that does make sense, it does help that I know what I'm hitting now, and where I'm going, just do me a favor, if you see something coming up behind me, let me know, I may be able to see, but I don't have eyes in the back of my head." said Matt.

"Well that is the same for everyone. Now I need everyone to hold themselves down, we are landing." Nick said.

"Are we near the Sea Temple?" Nessa asked. Finally, they would hopefully be closer to fighting the Darkness, and Evil Matt it seemed.

Balthasar had gotten up and stretched after having layed down on a bench in the ship.

He yawned. "Are we really here already? I was just starting to get comfortable... Oh well, I've been dying to see what the Sea Temple looks like anyway."

He aproached the nearby window. "So what am I looking at?" He asked curiously trying to find it.

Matt walked towards another window. "Hmm, judging by my sonar, a lot of water, and nothing much else." said Matt.

"It's about time," Night said, "I was beginning to wonder if it even existed."

The ship began to transform into a submerine and dived down to the bottom of the water that they were at. Ahead of them stood a huge round temple that looked like the one from Pokemon Manphany and the Temple of the Sea, but with it being total shiny light blue and has seaweed all over it. "Thats it." Nick said smiling.

"Huh," Night said, "It looks like that thing from Pokemon. Are those real too?" Fenris was shaking his head. "Remind me what I am doing here again with you guys?" he said.

"You know as much as i do at this point bub, i'm new to the whole 'fight for your life' thing, still, i can already tell, this is gonna be fun." said Matt. You could tell by Matt's face that he was ready for anything.
