Captains Log: Day 14

It is the brick of a new day. We have been sailing for over two weeks now. With any luck, we should be coming close to our destination of the Sea Temple. Although, the skies have been nice and the water has been clear, which means sooner or later there will be something bad that will happen, thinking it could be a hard sea storm, I wish I could just get out of here. But I am starting to really enjoy this crew, and really hope that they can make it out alive. Though, I feel as if this is not everyone who was destined for the power of greatness. I will reported back soon

The air was nice and crisped on the waves of the shores. The sun was shining with a warm temperature in its path. The sky was peaceful and partly cloudy. All in all, it was a pretty nice day to be on the ocean in a pirate ship. Nick walked out of his cabin and walked on the dock. He noticed it was a beauty of a day and noticed that the boat was still running its course with magic. He then spotted Allison watching the waves. He walked over to her and smiled, "Yet another beautiful day, isn't it?" Allison then smiled as she looked at Nick. "Yes, it is nice out today. So how much further do you think it is til we reach the Sea Temple?" Allison asked. "Not too far, we should be in the bermuda triangle soon enough." Nick said. "Thats good." Allison replied.

Allison looked at him. "I'm Allison. Just so you know, I am sorta taken." Allison said refering to his beautiful women comment.

Fenris came out of the crate and walked onto the deck, his large gun drawn. "All right, who are you and why am I here?" He brought it up. "Answer or I shoot."

Balthasar sighed. "The cute ones always are..." He walked around the grounds, then looked to Allison. "What do you do to pass the time? Are we almost there?" He said a bit impatiently, itching for more adventure.

Then he glanced at Fenris, rolling his eyes.

"Why does everyone keep pointing their weapons at me? I'm sorry I went on this ship okay!" He yelled at the sky, then looked to Fenris.

Nick quickly slashed his gun in two in the middle. "My name is Captain Nick, and somehow you are on my ship which is headed towards the Sea Temple. Now can you calm down please? I don't want to hurt you." Nick said.

Fenris dropped his gun and scowled. "Hurt me? What makes you think you can hurt me? And why should I calm down? I don't even know how I got here." He tore off his gloves with his teeth, exposing his claws of nails. "Now, talk. I'm listening."

Balthasar backed away from Fenris.

"Claws?! But how? What are you..." He said a but frightened, backing away even more until he reached the ship railing.

"I just said somehow you are on my ship. Now I don't know how you got here. And I will not harm you unless you harm me. It looks to me like you are inhuman with those claws, so just calm down and everything will be alright for you." Nick said.

Matt was there listening to the whole thing. "Wait, did this guy just say that other guy has CLAWS?!" asked Matt in a bit of disbelief. "Ok, whoever knows anything about what's going on here?" asked Matt. But as Matt finished his question, he heard a clicking sound that was really high pitched that seemed to come from his vocal chords, but somehow, it showed his mind his surroundings. "Ok, what just happened?" asked Matt.

(Sorry, got a cold and wasn't able to get on.)

Nessa blinked a little, and rubbed sleepiness out of her eyes as she sat up in her bed. Quickly getting ready, she walked to the upper decks after putting her hair in a loose braid. Her eyes widened a little as she looked at the two, no three new arrivals. Claws? "Allison, Night, Nick? Who are these people?" Nessa saw Matt's and Balthasar's awestruck faces. "You two, assuming you're friends and want to stay, you better get used to it."

Balthasar glanced over to Nessa.

"Have you been hiding all the girls Nick?" Balthasar laughed nervously, realizing how our of place his jokes had become, especially based on the current situation.

Nick looked over at Nessa. "Hey, we kinda have two passengers aboard with us." Nick said. Allison looked over at Balthasar. "That girl is also kinda taken." Allison told him.

(Also I hope you feel better Namine')

(Thanks :)

"More destined?" Nessa asked. She wasn't sure there had been others, it had always just been their group. Maybe it would be better to have more people, though. They would have a better chance of fighting. . .whoever or whatever was trying to hurt them.

Balthasar calmed down a bit, sighing at the fact that he may never find a girl.

"So uh, is this what you were talking about, Nick?" He said, beginning to step closer towards Fenris. "I guess I can deal with this. Actually, this is kind of cool! I wish I had something like this." He looked to Nick. "What is he? Do you guys have something special about you like he does?" He asked curiously.

"Yeah, what the heck is going on here, and what's this about Destined?" asked Matt, who was getting more confused by the minute. "Cause the last time i heard that word referring to a person, it was in a movie, described of course." said Matt.

Nick kept his sword away but still had it out just in case the unfriendly newcomer was to attack. "By the way I see it Nessa, only one of them have powers. As for what he is, I don't know. And I will explain the other parts later." Nick said keeping his cool.

Balthasar made a fake cough to get Nick's attention, not hearing what Nick had said to Nessa.

"Nick, how do you know about all of this?" Balthasar asked suspiciously. "Are you.... Like this guy?" He asked pointing at Fenris. The idea that there was more to the world than Balthasar thought he knew about to him was both exciting and scary. It was as if he was trying to reanalyze his entire life right then and there. He thought about all the coincedence's he's experienced, and wondered if they really did happen by chance, or if something of the supernatural had been at play.

Balthasar quietly awaited for an answer while these thoughts ran through his head, with a bit of a distraught look that shone on his face.

Nick looked at Balthasar. "The answer to that question would be yes and no. I don't really have any special powers, but I am in the same family as Claude Frollo, the guy who looked after the hunchback." Nick said.

Balthasar nodded slowly, absorbing as much as he could from this conversation.

"What about Nessa and Allison, are they special too? I guess everyone on this ship is like this huh?" He joked, trying to play himself off as unphased.

"Hmm, I think I'm beginning to understand all this, but I don't even know why I'm here, it's that which I don't understand, it's just odd being here and all." said Matt.

Nick sighed. "Well not everyone on this ship is like this, my crew is just misfits that turned good pirates." Nick said. Allison looked at Balthasar. "And yes, I have powers like this." Allison then made sea water come up as high as the boat. Then she froze it, and then made it go back to water by melting it. "And that is just half of my powers. But you must keep this a secret from the world. If people found out, they'd might make us into experiments to see how we work." Allison said.

"I'm a witch. You know, casting spells and the sorts." Nessa shrugged nonchalantly. "It can be a bit overwhelming. If you're here, you'll probably find your powers in time, I assume. Maybe when we get to the temple."

Balthasar was awed by Allison's abilities, although tried to make it look as though he wasn't, if only to avoid looking stupid. He considered her fear of their secret coming out, and then shrugged his shoulders.

"Might as well keep it a secret. Who'd believe me anyways?" He pondered the things that made these people special, and as different as they seemed from the rest of the world, for some reason he felt like he'd fit right into their group. Somehow he felt he could relate to them better than he would to anyone else. Maybe he'd finally found somewhere to belong, maybe he could finally form bonds with people instead of having to move around, and maybe he was finally going to have something he'd been longing to have, something that many people took for granted. Friends.

Balthasar laughed at Nessa's comment. "Oh trust me, I'm not special like you guys, at least not that I know of. Just a normal guy." He said pointing at himself, although he thought of the possibility. He walked around the ship again, feeling very restless. "Man, two weeks of sleep and I wake up confined to a ship. Are we almost to this sea temple thing?" He asked impatiently.

"Well we should be in the triangle just about..." A huge storm cloud rolled in and it started to rain the hardest rain in history. "NOW!!!!!!!!" Nick said over the storm. He ran over to a door and unlocked it. "EVERYONE INSIDE NOW!" Nick said. Allison ran inside without a second thought. The storm was becoming too dangerous and the ship was being rocked hard by the waves. The top pillar snapped and fell over board. It was too deadly out here.

Balthasar made a run for the door, tripping over and falling on his way inside.

"And you wanted to come here why?" He asked, brushing himself off, although it was mostly pointless because he was soaked.

"You know what? I guess I'll just find out for myself. It's not like I'm gonna make sense of it anyways." He said as he leaned against the wall.

Matt ran inside as well. "Ok, now, you said triangle, so, why are we in the Bermuda Triangle, i know you said we're going to some temple, but i doubt we're gonna get there in one piece, i mean, this is the place where no ship has ever returned from." said Matt.
