I glared at the computer. "God, I hate you so God-awful much..." I scowled as the loading bar on my project move a millimeter. The first it had moved in about a minute.

 

"You. Fail. So. Much." I started swearing under my breath.

 

I tend to do swear (lovingly) to all my electronics, particularly when going after a boss battle. Except much louder.

 

I shook myself out of the errant thought as a blip noise came from my Google Chrome Browser. My eyes widened. "The admin...?!" Oh, dear Kingdom Hearts, what have I done? You know that feeling you get when you get called to the admin's office at school or work? Yeah, that about sums up my feeling as I open up the IM box.

 

A single link stood beside the DChuich's name tag. "O...kay...?" I clicked on it. The screen turned white. "Dafuq?!" I pressed Ctrl+Alt+Del. No dice. "Oh, Jesus Christ!" My thoughts went to my video projects. I hadn't backed them up. I went for the power switch. I stopped as I heard insane laughter resonated from my headphones. "Old Man?" I said. (<-This is my nickname for Master Xehanort.) I felt myself being pulled in. I gripped the edge of the desk. "NAH-UH! YOU WON'T PULL ME IN TO-"

 

I opened my eyes to see a blank, white platform. "Wha-"

 

Welcome, child. You know what you must do.

 

 

"Open the door." I said. The platform disappeared and the towering castle of Radiant Garden apppeared...along with several hundered people I had never met before.

I laughed. "If we're in Sword Art Online, then we're all screwed. And as I said, it just feels like it's reality. Perhaps the computer was just the gateway- a spell of sorts to take us here." I stopped, unsheathing my blade. I slashed the grassy field in front of me, watching as the now freshly cut grass settled. "See?" I said, pointing to the grass, "If this was a game, the grass would disappear, or I wouldn't have been able to cut it in the first place."

I smiled again, sheathing my blade.

 

"Okay,that's true,just now to put an idea out there." I said looking mildly bored. I yawned. "Anyway were almost there." I said with a weak smile.

 

"Let's hurry with we stand here looking at grass all day I'll fall asleep." I said and started to take off again. Quickly taking a glance at my rabbit. I sighed and my behind me."Silver?" I asked trying to see if he was behind me or I had ran off without him.

"Coming!" I cried out, quickly running ahead. As I walked, I began to look around some more, taking in the full majesty of the Gardens. I whistled.

"Man, would I love to visit Twilight Town...get to be on that Clock Tower..." I chuckled, "Though...I'm scared of heights. Probably be a traumatic experience for me." I walked a bit faster, trying to not get too far behind Mist.

"Hey, wait up! You never know when Heartless...Nobodies..or some other infernal beast-demon will pop up!"

Before I knew it these shadow creatures appeared outta nowhere. "Heartless!" Vani yelled. This is perfect I thought, a chance to test out my skills. "Haiiro!" I yelled. Haiiro appeared right infront of me. I grabbed it and watched it become a scythe. "Haiiro, you ready?" I asked. "Yes." Haiiro replied. "Fire." I yelled. The ball of fire hit the heartless and destoryed it. A heart went up in the sky. Vani used aero, the heartless were spining in a vortex and were destoryed. I jumped in the air and slashed the remaining heartless. "We're done." I told Haiiro. Haiiro transformed back into a butterfly.

"Maybe they're at Merlin's house," Lexa said. "We could check there real quick."

 

"I guess it's worth a look," I said. So we began to make our way to Merlin's house. On way I wondered if Merlin might be able to teach us how to use magic properly. At least that might help us defeat Xehanort and get back home. Once we arived at Merlin's house Lexa and I discovered that many of our fellow KH13 members were already there.

 

"God, my intuition is good." I said. I weaved through the crowd up to the front. "People, please, back up. We're going to freak him out. 5 feet, people!" The crowd shuffled back a little. I knocked on the door.

 

A woman in a pink dress and boots opened the door. "Hello..?" she said. "You're Aerith, right?" I asked. "Yes." Aerith said."Who are all of you?" she asked. "We're a whole world full of people who have been torn from their world by Xehanort. I'm Lexa. I'm kind of their temporary leader." I said. "We were looking for Merlin. Is he here?" "One moment." Aerith said with a warm smile.

 

"Lexa, you sure know how to look innocent." Xoncron smirked."Oh, shut up, Xon." The door opened again with Merlin stepping out.

 

"Now, what's all this racket about? Aerith says you are all from another world." "Yes, sir." I said, politely. "We were hoping you might give us a lesson in basic magic." "Me? You all want a lesson from me?" Merlin stood up a little straighter. "Yes, sir. You are one of the best magicians in the world and I- we -want to learn from the best. Do you mind?" I asked. "Not at all, not at all, my dear." Merlin said. "Now, all of you take a seat and I'll see how well you all can learn."

 

The lessons went well for me, minus the ice magic. All I got was a ruddy snowflake. I was, surprisingly, able to conjure up a Firaza. I don't know how, but I could only do a Fira afterwards. I managed to some rudimentary Cures, thanks to extra help from Aerith, and twice I managed a Thunder.

 

"Let's try again, Lexa. What did you do earlier to make that highly advanced magic?" Merlin said. I closed my eyes, and retreated into myself. I felt a strong bass beat. What song was my heart singing? I recognized it after a few moments. When I did, it re-winded to the start. I heard my own voice. "I...will....say...YES!" I released all the pent-up energy. I felt the guitar riffs go straight through me and I opened my eyes. Everyone had disappeared. I looked at myself and saw that I was on fire. I could also hear the music in my ears.

 

The flames ended abruptly when Xoncron ran up with a fire extinguisher and started spraying me down. "WHAT THE HELL?!" I said, and cut off the magic. "Everyone had to take cover on top of the wall over there. You've been 'Flame on' for the last 4 minutes. "Ohh...." I laughed nervously.

 

"Well, I figured out another power I have." I said. "What?" Xoncron said. "Music-kinesis." "Music-kinesis." Xoncron literally had this face: -__-' "Yes, really. But, why..." The answer came immediately. "I think the reason why I have this power is because I associated KH with music so much. God knows how many projects I have." I said.

After extinguishing Lexa's flames it was time for my lesson. For some reason magic came easy to me. I was successful with just about every kind of spell. Then something strange happened when I used fire magic. The flames of every fire based spell I used were always dark blue in color instead of orange or red.

 

"Strange," I muttered to myself.

 

"Interesting, very interesting," Merlin said all of the sudden.

 

"What is it Merlin?" Lexa asked.

demy scated faster as she saw alittle bit of light."hello anywhere here" she yelled out as she exited the portal and her key blade appeared in her bag.she looked around and sighed." where is everybody anyways" she yelled again before planting herself on the ground and looking through her spell book.she flipped through the pages reading every spell in her head making sure not to cast any.

Man this would be so much more awesome if there wasn't a chance that I could die." Pushing her blonde hair out of her face she stood up noting two things. "I'm cannot alone and I got two swords yay I might not die by the end of the day?!" Looking both ways she sighed again before she started walking to where she could at least guess would be in the direction of Merlin's. "I just hope I can find someone here to help me."

"Both you and your friend here," Merlin motioned to me as he answered Lexa's question "both have unusal fire based magic ablities."

 

"So what about them?" I asked.

 

"I'm not sure but I think it means that you may have quite a big roll to play in upcoming events," Merlin said.

 

"Hmmm. I wonder if it just has something to with the world we come from, " Lexa pondered.

 

I turned to her and said,"Only one maybe two ways to find out."

 

"Yes, yes of course," Merlin said in agreement "On with the rest of the lessons.

"Coming!" I cried out, quickly running ahead. As I walked, I began to look around some more, taking in the full majesty of the Gardens. I sigh."Right." I said and slowed down coming almost to a halt.

"Well we should just about be there." I said with a sigh.

I looked around. "Silver...hurry it." I sigh again, I find myself sigh more than ever/

"I am!" I cried out, running as fast as I could manage. I quickly came in pace with Mist, sighing, "Jeez, I'm hurrying up as fast as I can. Ol' Merlin will still be around by the time we get there."  I sighed, frustrated at this.

Sure, I was in the Radiant Garden, but it's kind of annoying when you get forced into it, without any prior warning or approval. It was cool enough to be with Mist...I guess. I looked around, trying to see if I could spot Merlin's home, trying my best to remember his location.

"I think that's his place..." I said, pointing to one of the homes.

As Merlin was teaching us, I kept on looking behind me. "What's up?" Xoncron said. "Something's wrong." I said. The crowd watched Merlin as he continued to show the basics of a Fire spell. "Intuition?" Xoncron asked. I nodded. "I'm getting the fight or flight feeling right now." I said, tense. "That's not good." he said. "Understatement of the yea-"

 

I felt something grab my ankle and pull me down. My left hand automatically flew up as I reached for Xoncron. The world went black as I realized I was being pulled into darkness. I felt Xoncron reach in and grab my left wrist. The only thing he could do was stop the progress whatever-it-was was making. I felt the darkness swarm around me, wanting to consume me, annoyed by my cloak.

 

My heart stopped as the thing holding my ankle started chuckling. A second hand wrapped around my wrist. "Not that bad, not bad at all. I guess I'll see you around." He mocked. He let go of my ankle. I gasped as I was pulled out into the light.

 

"LEXA! LEXA, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!" Xoncron grabbed my shoulders. I was shaking like a leaf. "Oh, my god....oh, my god...." I said. I felt like I was going to pass out. "Answer me, Lexa!" Xoncron said. "I'm...physically okay." I said. "Emotionally and mentally....Freaking out." I said, holding my knees. "What was it?!" Xoncron said. "It...was....."I panted, trying to regain calm and oxygen. "Vanitas." I said, finally. "Vanitas?" Xoncron said. "I thought-" "Yeah, I did, too." I said. "Who helped you out, by the way?"

 

"I did." I saw Snow behind Xoncron. "Thank you. Both of you. I-" I shook my head. "That was, by far, the scariest thing I've ever been through." I looked around to see an empty plaza. "Where did...." Xoncron and Snow looked around. "Where is everyone?" I said.

 

"They're gone, idiot." I looked up to the roof of Merlin's house. Vanitas sat on the ledge of the roof. I couldn't turn away from the burning gaze he gave me. "Gone?" Xoncron glared at Vanitas. "What do you mean, gone?" Xoncron said. "Exactly what I said. While you two were preoccupied, the rest of your party has been scattered to the other worlds. Other than you three, there are two others we left behind." Vanitas leaped down effortlessly, walking toward me.

 

I shakily stood up. "...Vanitas?" I said. He smirked. "I know what you are feeling -Lexa, is it? You've got yourself run up on some delusion that I'm your friend." He laughed. "Talk about stupidity. Take a hint, Lexa: I'm no one's friend."

 

"Bullsh!t!" I yelled. Vanitas's gaze turned to shock. "You may come from the darkness, Vanitas, but that doesn't mean you're evil." I said. "Stop putting yourself where Xehanort wants you and listen to yourself." I said. "You think that's going to work on me. Hmph. I've got better things to do." He opened a dark corridor. "Wait!" He walked through without a glance back. "What now?" Xoncron said.

 

"We go and kick Xehanort's @$$, that's what.  First, we need to find Yen Sid; if there's anyone that has an explanation for this, it's him. After that, I'm going to slap some sense into Vanitas." Xoncron and Snow looked at me as if I was crazy. "I know he's got good in there somewhere; I just know it....Well, let's check the damage; God knows how much havoc Vanitas managed to create."

 

I took a step forward, then felt a burning sensation on my back, like I was being branded. I yelled out, swearing loudly. "My *about 6 swearwords I will never repeat* back!" I ripped off my coat. "Snow, turn around." I said immediately. "WHY?" Snow demanded. "Hey, I'm not the one saying I want threesomes with Final Fantasy characters." I shouted. "What are you-" Xoncron started as I pulled the back of my black wife beater up. "What's wrong with it?" I said through gritted teeth. "It's-" Snow said. "An Unversed symbol." Xoncron finished. I pulled down my shirt and slipped my coat on. "My luck is getting worse and worse by the minute." I said. "Well, at least it's happening to me rather than you two." I said.

"What do you mean Xoncron?" Lexa asked a bit concerned by my statement.

 

"What I mean is we have no idea how or why that unversed symbol got branded onto your back, and there's no way to tell for sure that something similar won't happen to us eventually," I said, "This entire situation has gotten a whole lot more serious."

 

"You have a good point there," Lexa said.

 

"Then we should do what Lexa said and find Yen Sid," Snow suddenly blurted out.

 

"Agreed, but how are we supposed to find him?" I responded. I didn't fully trust Snow, because Vanitas didn't attack Lexa until Snow suddenly showed up. I would work with Snow for Lexa's sake, but I'd be keeping a close eye on him.

 

"I'm not quite sure," Lexa answered "but I'm sure we'll figure something out."

"And the rest of the day to you!" Scrooge turned around. "Well, hello, lass and lads. What can I interest you in today?" "A means of trasportation." I said. "Ah, now that's going to cost you, lass." Scrooge replied. "We only need to go a little ways, to Twilight Town." I said. "Well, you've caught me at the right moment: I was about to go over there myself , to see if I can open up a new shop there." he said.

 

"Oh, new ice cream shop? Wise decision." I said. "They're absolutely fanatical about the stuff over there." "You don't say?" Scrooge asked, intrigued. "Yep, they absolutely love sea-salt flavored, in fact. If I had to start a business there, that'd be it." I said. Xoncron and Snow were staring at me in confusion. "So, do you think you can give us a little ride, seeing as you are already going?" I asked. "I don't know..." Scrooge said.

 

"We- I, really- need to meet up with a certain retired Keyblade Master who lives there." I said, lowering my voice. "Ohhh..." Scrooge said in realization. "Come along, then." "Really!?" I said, excited. "Of course. I take it you wield one as well?" Scrooge asked. "I do, but my two friends here don't."

 

"I thought as such. You remind me of a boy I know." "Sora?" I asked. "Yes, actually. Now, I'll need your names." Scrooge asked. "I'm Lexa, and this is Xoncron, my right-hand man, and Snow. Thank you so much." I said. "No problem."

 

 

"Whose idea was this again?" I said, shivering in the ice cream freezer behind the cockpit. "Yours." Xoncron said. "Oh, yeah...." I said. "Not much longer!" I heard Scrooge call out. Me and Xoncron sighed in relief, breath making clouds in the cold. "Come on, you two, this isn't that bad-" "Snow, I swear to God, I will kill you!" I said, rubbing my arms furiously. "I wouldn't piss her off if I were you." Xoncron said. "You're not the only one who participates in Last Post Wins, you know." Snow said, narrowing his eyes. "I swear to Kingdom Hearts, if you two start up again, I will Falcon Punch you both in the nuts!" I said, irritated. "Where did that nice, laidback demeanor go? Usually you're cool." Snow said. "It left me once the temperature dropped below zero." I said.

 

The gummi ship stopped. "Alright, you three, good luck!" Scrooge called back. "Wha-"

 

I was suddenly in the middle of the Twilight Town plaza, next to the train station. Snow whistled. "Wow...." Xoncron said. "I think I'm standing in the same place Xion died at...." I said, quietly. "Well, we can come back for sightseeing later. We've got to check on something." I ran into the train station. "Yes! Lucky again." I said. I saw a blue train decorated with stars and moons, the Sorceror's hat on the front of it. "Your intuition almost never fails, does it?" Xoncron said, unsurprised. "Yep." I said. "Window seat!" Snow pushed me out of the way. "Jerk!" I said and ran after him, me on his heels. He jumped onto the train, me on his heels. Xoncron walked past me as the doors closed. "Will you two ever stop?" Xoncron said. "I'll stop once you stop the Order pretense." Snow said. "Never!" We both said, unanimously.The ride was a lot longer than they made it out to be in KHII. I ended up falling asleep on Xoncron's shoulder. I realized that my waking thoughts would be far more peaceful than my dreams.

 

I was running, running until I thought my hear would stop, running so hard I felt as if I was a burning streak. I looked behind me. Too close, too close! I tried to run faster, I only went slower. I was running in an empty wasteland, nothing but rocks and sand forever. I looked behind me for too long. I tripped over and landed on my face. I hit the ground. I quickly turned over, looking back, scooting backwards. I saw my coat was ripped to shreds, I felt blood streaming from a throbbing cut on my cheek; to my horror, I saw Xoncron and Snow, lifeless on the ground, a single figure stepping over them. The figure turned into many things: Xemnas, Ansem, Terranort, the Slenderman, Larxene, Master Xehanort, and finally the face I so cared about and so feared: Vanitas. He summoned Void Gear. "Game over." He swung it up, my arm covered my face-

 

"LEXA!" I shot up. I looked around. Xoncron and Snow were standing in front of my seat looked freaked out. "You were screaming your head off! What the hell was that about!?" Snow said. "Nice job, tactless!" Xoncron said, smacking Snow upside the head. "Lexa, stop crying, it's okay." I touched my face and found it wet. "Oh...my God...."I was shaking again. Xoncron wrapped an arm around me. I accepted the embrace and tried to calm myself down. "Bad nightmare?" He asked. "Understatement." I said. "Xoncron?" "Hm?" He said. "You're a really, really good friend." I said. "I seem to be having a really bad streak of luck, eh?" I looked up, a weak smile on my face "I'll say" Snow said. "I know something that'll make you cheer up." Snow pulled out a pack of Pocky. "POCKY!" I said, and snatched it from him, ripping apart the packaging. "Where'd you get it?!" Snow shrugged. "The train's loaded with snacks; me and Xon over there had some while you were asleep. You're quite adorable when you're sleeping."

 

Snow smirked. "Whose tactless now?" Snow said. "Still you; the only reason you say she's cute is because you were staring at her ass when I wasn't looking." "WHAT!?" "Oh, look, Yen Sid's tower!" Snow quickly said. The train stopped. "You. Are. A. Dead. Man. Later." I said, walking off the train.

I sighed. "Well yeah,I would guess so. Anyway I see, so I'm pretty sure we're good." I said. I give a small sigh before stopping 

"Do you think we should go over there? I don't know about you, but I don't like the feeling I getting right now. I'm getting the run away before a Heartless attacks you feeling." I said and looked at the bunny in my hand.

"I have one other feeling." I said. 

 

I sighed, "Yeah...I'm getting that bad feeling too...I've dubbed it the Demyx Rule....in the event of dark forces you can't fight....'Run, run away'!" I laughed at that, glad to at least push out a joke or two in this dark moment.

"But, what do you mean by 'other feeling'?" I asked, tilting my head to one side. What Mist said interested me, I felt that if she was feeling sad, or soemthing along those lines, than I best help her with it.

Hrm....a bad feeling and something else....this isn't foreboding well. I thought, crossing my arms against my chest.

As we stepped off the train I worried about Lexa. Her string of bad luck was even worse than mine, and the lifes of everyone in my family, includeing me, were governed by murphey's law (That old saying that goes if anything can go wrong it will). Plus that nightmare Lexa had on the train. I could sense that it was no ordinary nightmare. It felt as if something demonic was at work. Weither Xehanort was behind Lexa's nightmare or if something else was I could not tell. At the rate things were going I knew it that soon I was going to have to reveal the full extant of my abilities Lexa and. . . Snow. I still didn't trust him. The situation wasn't this bad until Snow appeared. It did not seem like cowencidince to me. We had just reached the entrance to The Mysterious Tower, all of what had just been stated having run through my head within the few seconds it took to get tho the entrance from the train, when something or someone hit me in the back of the head hard. The last thing I saw before blacking out was Lexa turning around to see what was going on.

Looking up she noticed the twilight painted sky above as she let out a sigh. "Now i'm in Twilight Town just PERFECT!" Almost screaming to the point that her her voice was lost a deep breathe settled her emotions. "Okay I can get answers all I need to do is get to the train here in Twilight Town. Not to big of a problem and maybe i'll find other people there to." Standing up she twisted her body side to side before getting ready to make a mad dash through Twilight Town. "Luckily I remember how to get there from the alley way. Hopefully nothing will decide to play with me along the way there." Of course she was going to be proven wrong when she turned to see spiked blonde hair just barely in view as they sunk into what appear to be a thick ooze of darkness.
