...What are your stereotypes of Americans? I just get a bit curious after watching Hetalia.

For those who don't watch the show, America's portrayed as a food-obsessed man who always thinks that he's a hero.

i'm sad to say that the general view of americans here is like george bush (going in to war with everyone, not being very smart, far, far too proud)

 

but with me i remember my old friend teague's mum. they were american, and moved back there a couple of years ago, she was really nice and helpful

they're ..... fat o_o

but I don't think they all are .. but still.

they can get HUGE meals in McDonalds..

 

it seems like they just can't mind their own business and sticks their nose into everything.

and most of the american's I've spoken to (not my friends for godness sakes!) .. are pretty dumb, and they call US dumb!? .. one of the examples of being dumb, they .. believe in the stupid steriotypes

I don't know,I think really different from most of my country population,american people are seen as fast food lovers,faat(sometimes)but good,honest,while our people are usually seen as theives and disonest.

Ok well they are definitly rude, if you ask me. And for some reason, I don't know why people like to call other people "gay". I seriously don't. I'm guessing they are trying to be cool.

 

Ummmm, alot of people are fat. Like I see alot of people in the hallways that are extremely fat and I think of three things:

1) How did you get that much weight?

2) No more McDonalds for you

3) Mind if you stop slacking off in Gym?

 

And they really don't use stereotypes against people here, but when it comes to other countries, then yeah -_-

 

For example, two people thought I was British (and they are correct). But both of them say, "British people have bad teeth". Yeah, I do have bad teeth but that's a big time stereotype which really annoys me when people say. It's not true. They actually have good teeth. But if you're a person who don't care to take care of you're teeth, like me, then yeah.

 

But the worst part about it is having idiots in this country. Plus idiots running the country AKA the government.

 

I don't know if it's just me, but why is it that everytime I go to school, everyone there is a big idiot or just say things obivious? I mean, one guy tried to insult me, which he did it entirely stupid. He goes, "Shut up whitey". But the weird part is that he's white too. So I tell him, "You're white too. Plus, you have a white jacket on anyway, you're more white than I am." But he decides to be more awesome by going, "Well...you're socks are white." And this is when I notice his socks and just facepalm. I was like, "Dude, YOU'RE WEARING WHITE SOCKS TOO!" How awesome can this guy get?

 

And above all, I hate America. The Law system is like not affective at all. Putting a 13 year old in jail for 10 years for modding systems? Really? O. J. Simpson, guy who killed his wife and her friend. The case has been going on for so many years, and then a year or two ago, they finally decided to send him to jail. And I was like, "Cmon! It's obivious that the guy killed them. He and his wife were divorced! He wrote a book called If I Did It!"

Eh, still want to get out of here anyway. Probably to either Italy, Japan, or Australia.

 

...Probably Australia. They speak English there, and they are basically British, due to Britian taking over it. But not really. It's like changing a language and making your own. I mean, has anyone seen what's on the flag? It's got Britian's flag on it with stars

Yeah. But people say I look British. I don't get it. I really don't get it. I don't know how I look British when I never even seen other British people. And I mean full blooded Britsh.

 

Eh, I have British on the mind, along with Australia. It's because I am doing a project about Imperlism with Australia and how the mother country (In this case Britian) imperlised them and set up a colony there.

I've done a project with Australia,that's when I started to love this country

ANYWHOSE, I thought I was more of ranting on America than discussing about stereotypes . But another stereotype about America is that the people here are ugly. And honestly, that is...well wrong actually. Most people here are Justin Bieber look alikes.

But if you see this kid, definitly not ugly. But there are alot of ugly people here though. And I am not sure which one burns more, this guy or them O_O

- there was kid who thought US was a bigger country then Canada and though we lived in Igloos on small lsland near Antarintica and when told him Canada was bigger country he got mad and called me idot

- there was man who was planning a vaction to alaska in the winter thinking it was warm.So we do him we lived in Ontario and he talk about how he wouldn't go there because it's to cold.
