Golden Sun - Series Discussion

Does anyone here like Golden Sun?  I was just curious, since I love it and I've partly thought Kingdom Hearts was similar.  If you do like it, which game is your favorite?  I'm torn between The Lost Age and Dark Dawn, but overall I think I prefer the latter.

    Crossbone Isle didn't appear in TLA. There were various bonus places where you can find the last 5 summons. Anemos Inner Sanctum had Iris, guarded by Dullahan. Dullahan is from Irish mythology, if you're curious.

    And yes, Crossbone Isle is an additional dungeon, in both GS1 and Dark Dawn. Can't remember if it made an appearance in The Lost Age though. I think the additional dungeon in that one is just the terrible trek to get to the Dulhalland boss (I think that's what his name was)

    Oh! I think I've been to Crossbone Isle in Dark Dawn.  Is it that one island that you have to ride a whirlpool to get to?  If so, that was definitely an interesting place.

    I believe so, yes. It was better in GS1 personally, but it was still good in DD. Extra content is one of my favorite things about games themselves, especially if the story was compelling as well. That's probably why I enjoy Zelda and Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy so much.

    What? Golden sun thread!!! This is great! Easily one of my favorite game series.  They really need to bring back Issac and Felix on the 3ds.

    Hey, I'm so glad to see that this thread has been revived!  And it's great to see that there's more Golden Sun fans on this site.  I'm a huge fan of this series, for more reasons than one, and I really am hoping that a fourth installment will be in the making sometime soon.  I'm sorry, but ". . . The end?" was an awful ending. : P
