I was playing re:chain of memories recently and I realized something, at the end of it Namine cry's for the first time. But isn't shedding tears means a sad emotion which has something to do with the heart? But if she is a nobody how can she cry? after playing this for the fourth time I finally notice this. Also in 358/2 days Roxas cried more than once. How can it be possible if their nobodies? Any thoughts?

roxas and namine are special nobodies, namines the nobody of a princess of hearts and roxas, maybe it has to do with him being a keyblade master

In KH I don't remember if it's II or II final mix,you see Axel cry

As mentioned, Namine and Roxas are special Nobodies.

Simply put ( as I've done quite a few long and detailed posts today ), Kairi and Sora are both still "alive" while Namine and Roxas are "alive," which is unusual as when a person loses their heart, their heart becomes a Heartless and their body becomes a Nobody, which explains why all the Nobodies in Organization XII whose somebodies have been revealed all look nearly to exactly alike.

Since Sora and Kairi, and Roxas and Namine are all existing at the same time, Namine and Roxas can feel their hearts through their connections with their respective Somebodies. This connection only exists because Namine is a part of Kairi ( more like her shadow, as Namine has a stronger connection to Sora because she was created when Sora released Kairi's heart from inside him ) and Roxas is a part of Sora.

Basically, since their Somebodies are still running around, Namine and Roxas can feel their hearts and freely exhibit emotions when the moment arrives.

Gizelita brings up a good point, as in KH2FM+, Axel sheds a single tear to some scene that seems to never have happened ever ( you would think we would've seen that scene in Days? ). Regardless, Axel's friendship with Roxas gave him a connection to Sora's heart, and so, as Axel mentions, whenever he spends time with Roxas, he can sometimes "feel" emotions, even though he knows he shouldn't. It's fair to say that Roxas is Axel's drug to feel high or something.

...I made a long post again..."o.o

Nobodys are beings that pretend to have hearts/feelings so, in a way, it make sense that they cry.

Yes, nobodies act the play of the heart but they cannot give the theatre its rightful hold on the eternal emotions running rapidly throughout the entire existances of such. But Roxas and Namine...They are Special...due to their connections with Sora and Kairi. Plus...does KH13.com have that mentioned scene of Axel shedding a tear? (It will be a great addition to my KH AMVs :P)

I don't think it's on the download page though.

I'd add more to the convo, but you guys have already covered my thoughts. 0-0

Oh that scene -_- I always thought it was the ice cream melting. But useful nevertheless.

Well, you can see the tear coming from Axel with kh13's higher quality, so it's definitely not.

I'm not sure if this is right or not, but I'm guessing that each of them crying can be explained by the fact that they are special Nobodies? We all know about Roxas and Namin

That was an interesting scene, was it only in the japanese version of the game?

I have nothing else to add to the conversation then what has already been said.

I belive there was a moment within a cutscene in Re:CoM after Axel allowed Namine to run away from her room to Sora, he stood there alone and I guess..."felt" something within him and looked up proclaiming "Wow! You guys really are something!" But this quote is approximated a little due to my poor memory T_T

You are correct sir. Man...I should of notice Axel was special then, Nobodies can't laugh. They don't feel anything.

Half the Nobodies laugh. xD Have you not heard Larxene and Vexen?

But actually feeling like you need to laugh is another case.

They faked their emotions because they were around somebodies and had to put up their act. But Axel was alone...he had no need to act.

True. But there have been several times where Nobodies are alone and still act as though they can feel. Maybe it just makes them feel better?

At any rate, yeah, I think that Axel can feel emotions.

Indeed, there is always a counter to this statment. Either we think Axel is a special nobody because of his ties with Roxas or that he was acting the whole time, in the words of Yen Sid in KH2: "I'm afraid I do not know" :P

^ I think nobodies fake their feeling for themselves, not because there's somebody around.

it's maybe like when we play videogame too long, we don't feel happy anymore, but continue playing it in hope we'll gain feeling of happiness again, but not, and we still doesn't stop pretending that it makes us happy. Or...it's just me?

Didn't play fm, watched the scene on youtube, it was really touching. And yeah, didn't notice his tear rolling down his cheek because of low quality (luckily its comments told me)
