Their was a walnut named Eterna, she lived with her brothers and sisters in a great oak tree that fed apon children. One day while Eterna was out with her family she came across a strange indent upon the earth. Curious she started digging to see what the sealed up hole contained. As she dug a sense of horror and despair came apon her....for at the bottom of the whole laid the suffocated corpse of a fellow walnut.......
Hours later Eterna and her family had struggled to the top of the tree where the elder walnut lived to tell him of their discovery. As soon as the tale was told Eterna could see the elder walnuts eyes grow sorrowful. He then said in a low rumbly walnut like voice "then are worst fears have come....the squirrels have found are tree." A hushed silence fell apon Eterna and her siblings.... for ages the walnuts living in the great oak who fed apon children were sure the squirrels would never find them."gather the people little ones...I must infrom them, and prepare them for war..."
As soon as the elder walnut had said it Eterna and her siblings had ran around the greak oak that feeds apon children, gathering the people, sounding the alarms and seeking aid from the other great oak empires. Once the citizens of the great oak that feeds apon children had gatherd in the elder walnuts hollow they all fell silent...anticipating grim news. "My children" exclaimed the Elder " the worst has transpired, my scouts report that large numbers of squirrels are heading right for us, but be strong we are walnuts! we are strong! we shall overcome the blight that is about to befall us!"
"but Elder" yelled a young walnut " we have no weapons, no armour, how do we stand up against such monsters!"
"Be calm young one, we shall light are old twig forges, don are pinecone armour, and most important of all we shall forge hope!"
The walnuts gatherd in the hollow screamed with renewed Vigor and began preparations for what was to come.
