Story:

The Earth has been at rest for many years. After the malevolent threat was destroyed, the Players were able to escape the Game and return back into the Real World. However, right before the Guardian J was destroyed, he warned the Players of a threat far greater than him... More Guardians. In fact, there are three more, all waiting for the perfect time to strike. Since then, the Players have taken many different paths for their second chance at life, some devoting their time to train in order to repel the threat that will eventually come, while some have simply began families. Others have experienced..... strange occurrences. Now, ten years have passed and the peace continues to thrive, but an aura of something evil has suddenly appeared and the Ex-Players can sense it, even some humans having the ability to do so as well. Looks like the second Guardian was deciding to make his debut, and his power exceed that of the first Guardian's immensely. Tasked with no other choice, the Players must unite yet again in order to defend Earth, even having to enlist the help of other humans that wish to protect the Earth. Everyone managed to get a hold of each other, deciding to meet in a cafe in New York City. That is where this story begins.

 

Noron

I had never rode on an airplane before, but certain things required sacrifices. Personally, heights terrified me, but I'd have to put that fear aside for now, for something far more scary was getting ready to appear. I found myself reflecting about the past, wondering how so much had changed in those few weeks all those years ago. I hadn't seen my family in years either. My daughter must have been grown up by now, my nephew as well. My father was probably very elderly now too.... boy had the time flown by. I hadn't seen my friends in so long, as I'd been busy preparing for the return of the Guardians. I didn't want them to get involved, but by the feel of it, it appeared I'd have no other choice. Oron's mind had slowly became one with mine, but his separate presence was still present. However, if it came down to it, we may be forced to separate once again. No matter what, my life was about to change yet again.

I looked at Sayo and gulped in fear. "Uhh... right." The way she said that last bit scared me a bit... "I'll... uhh... make sure not to do that! And to figure out everything! Haha..."

Sakajou

I sat upright and stretched my arms. I was almost done recharging, and boy was it feeling amazing. I held out my arm and my sword appeared it. Finally! I closely examined it and tapped it on the base of the blade. I could see millions of faces of souls that were screaming in agony, the souls that I'd taken for my own. Any soul I took with this sword would become apart of it. They would suffer for all of eternity, constantly feeling the same pain equivalent of the moment I killed them. It was sort of like a punishment to those who opposed me, but I hadn't used it in ages! I tapped the base and the faces disappeared. I held my sword up towards the sky and suddenly, lightning flew from a random cloud and struck the blade. The sword starting glowing red as screams wailed throughout the jungle I was in. So close... I was almost done with this long recovery process. Those humans that killed J and got me into this mess... I'm coming after you first.

(Only one page after being gone?  Huh.)

 

Bronshu:  Before I got ready to order something, I saw one guy with a sort of bulge around his back, and saw another at the door.  I decided to ignore him for now and walked to the teen who introduced himself as Kaze.  I extend my right hand in a friendly shaking gesture and say:  "Hey there Kaze.  My name is Bronshu Wes.  Good to meet ya.  If you want to join us in this fight, then I'll welcome you.  But you have to be absolutely sure you want to go through this.  For this up coming event, you must have: confidence, great endurance. quick reflexes, determination, and trust in others.  You won't make it past the first day without these qualities.

 

Diasor:  "Isn't that a lttle much Bronshu?"

 

Bronshu:  "He has to know what to have to survive this thing.  Oh, Kaze, if you ever see me talking to myself, I'm actually speaking with a friend called Diasor.  He helped me survive the last few days of the last 'adventure' if you want to call it that.  Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go eat something."  I walk back to the table to wait for the waitress.

I shook Bronshu's hand. "Heh, nice to meet you, too!" I replied. He told me about his friend Diasor, and the last adventure... I assumed that had to do with the Guardian that Noron had told me about. "Alright... Heh, I've got all that stuff and more!" I exclaimed. I was ready for anything.

Sakajou

 Finally, after an extra three months of charging, I could commence my ultimate ability. Why kill everyone when I can simply turn things around to the way they used to be and J never waking up in the first place? It was perfect. First... I'd have a little fun with them! I appeared in front of the group and everyone gasped as they saw me. I pulled out a blade and sliced the arms and legs of Noron, then threw what was left of him at Sayo. I looked at the rest then snapped my fingers and the building burst into flames. As everyone screams faded, I walked out of the building, the fire doing nothing to me as I did so. I gave one last look at my work and sighed. Killing wasn't as fun as I thought it'd be. I opened up a portal with a backwards clock on it, and walked through it. Standing in front of me was Noro's family, Sayo, Isaac, everyone, albeit they were much younger. I had managed to travel back to the past! Suddenly, lightning struck off in the distance. That must be where Oron would be appearing... I quickly teleported to it appeared right behind Oron in his old form. I let out a laugh and he quickly whirled around. "Sakajou?!? What the hell?" He exclaimed. I just grinned and pulled out my blade. "You know Oron, if J actions taught me one thing, it was to not go easy on your adversaries. Also, don't pick fights that you didn't bargain for," I finished with a cold essence in my voice. "Now die." Instantly I sliced right through Oron, and his body behind me fell in two. I turned my head towards the other people that were with him, and held up my sword. I recognized one of them, a Reaper named Keith.... But I didn't care for him. My sword glowed a dark red and everyone began to scream. Their souls were sucked into my sword. I snapped my fingers once again and their bodies burst into flames.... My work here was finished... I could feel myself starting to fade. I had to deliver once last message though. I walked over to the innocent, young Noro, Isaac and Sayo and slowly approached them, the three totally unaware of what I just did. Noro stood up in a defensive manner, ready to protect the children. "Relax," I said. I tossed my sword to the side. "You may not know it... but your lives were horrible.... you all suffered through things you shouldn't have had to, all because of the mistakes of one of us." They looked at me totally dumbfounded, and they should be considering my actions. "Here," I said, nodding to Noro to pick up the sword. "That will tell you everything you ever needed to know." I let out a smile and faded away, leaving everyone with a new future full of opportunity. 

Noro

I picked up the blade and looked at it closely... What was going on? Suddenly, a movie started to play... and there we all were! A man attacked us.... and he killed us too. I saw what happened when you died, all the pain we'd have to go through, me attempting to kill my own family... and my family killing me. I saw everything! This was a grim future... One this stranger had let us avoid..... I looked at Sayo, then over to Isaac. I finally looked at the sky and said, "Looks like the world... won't end with us after all..."
