Hey guys, I've been wondering about the Assassin's Creed series. I finished playing Assassin's Creed 3 a month ago, and after everything transpired, I questioned myself as to what can possibly be next for the series?  With series mainstay Desmond now dead, who could be the next protagonist of this series?  Well, I know that Ubisoft could probably continue the series from the Templars point of view. (Because Liberation is a Templar "simulation".  I know I haven't played Liberation, mainly because I don't have the Vita, but I heard that it's a Templar simulation.)  Anyways, my point is, that what time period could be visited next?  Considering the series have jumped several timelines, there could possibly be something like other time periods.  What Ubisoft shall do next is a mystery.  What do you think will happen to the Assassin's Creed series guys? 

Well, I know that Ubisoft considered to make another Game with Connor, don't know how, but they'll probably have some ideas... I hope ...I don't know how the Series could get on... I think they're gonna have to kill this Juno Not-so-godly-Woman, but to find out HOW, they have to use the Animus... or something in that way... Maybe there's gonna be an Assassin's Creed in the Present, or maybe in a relatively close future (2050-2080)They could also show something from Subject 16 his Journeys ... I would like to be an Assassin in Egypt/to the Time of Alexander the Great ... There's many to tell in the Past and the Future, so I don't think they're gonna end the series soon

I agree.  With the level of popularity this series has, it can't end so soon.

Just becaue Lightning Returns looks a bit like AC doesn't mean it's the next logical step. AC wouldn't go the same route FF is going through right now.

Shaun wanted Desmond to relive the lives of the first civilization and Ubisoft wants the series to go to at least AC10
