I'm Lv 32, now, with Sora. My deck is filled with Kingdom Keys and some other keyblades and 3 cures, 2 potions... they weren't so USELESS in previous combats but with Vexen in Twilight Town... he kills me all time! It was jsut 1 MORE BAR and I only had 1 card attack but it's just 4 and it's not enough. I know how to dodge his attacks but I ran out of cards... Please... I'm stuck for 3 days on this boss.... And it's on BEGGINER MODE! HELP: ME!!!

I hated KH Re: CoM but I decided to start it again and now I HATE IT SO MUCH! Vexen battle in Twilight Town is impossible to beat... Let's say that I just wasted several days of my life on this game.

Also, he does not let me use one card per time and I have to use 3 at the same time but that will waste my cards faster.... Please help me or I'll give up on this series....

And... Pluto cards or Donal/Goofy appear just one time or noone... D:

Hit him with the keyblade.

Don't even speak if you DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO! -.-'

Sleight Spam if you're desperate.

Yes, use fire sleights.  Also, try to build your deck up with as many 0's as possible.  They'll break his larger combinations without having to waste cards.  Also, try to attack with as many sleights as possible, since it'll kill him off fastest.  The strategy with most bosses in Re:COM--and Vexen's no exception--is to kill them off fast.  I remember having troubles with Vexen too; he's a tough cookie. :P  Just keep trying, you'll get him eventually!

Do you have a lot of high numbers?  If so, you might want to consider taking some out so you can build a larger deck to make sleights.

Spam sonic blade ( not sure if thats the name.. its the attack you press triangle 7 times ) its rly good. Thats how i defeated him. :)

good move and also lethal frame is another good move

Here's my strategy for if you're REALLY struggling and you just want to get the battle over with.

The black fungus enemy card has a random effect, meaning it'll just choose one of the enemy card powers in the game and activate it, whether you have that enemy card or not.  My brother used it once and luckily got Vexen's enemy card, DURING the Vexen fight. This card not only gives you auto-life, but also gives you immunity to ice until that auto-life gets used up. So basically, you're almost completely invincible (as almost all of his attacks are of the ice element), and you're free to just wail on him. He does have one or two non-elemental attacks though, so watch out for those. So basically, get a Black Fungus card, use it, and hope and pray you get "Auto-Life".

use lethal flame, blitz, sonic blade and fire sleights
